This is a solid entry with a strong concept that could be extended upon! Really fun gameplay that involve strategy. The sounds, visuals and music are good too. Great job!

kornel 2019-04-30 07:43

Thank you @jin47 for testing our little game

barrier 2019-04-30 07:47

Interesting turn based game!

kornel 2019-04-30 08:24

Thanks @barrier

raska 2019-04-30 09:09

Really loved it, fun gameplay and many levels, great audio and graphics! Good job!

koemeterion 2019-04-30 10:32

I totally love the main game loop. Moody sounds and music, nice graphics and a fun gameplay. A few textboxes in the tutorial where hard to read, while they where overlaping with the 4 action buttons or slightly out of the screen (played the webGL version). Fun entry, and I guess from the rates I gave, my favourite at the moment!

arimie 2019-04-30 10:45

Oh this is a cool game concept. I liked the gameplay system and actions !

oktarian 2019-04-30 10:46

This is so far my favorite game! Everything is great about it! Love the concept too, very entertaining and easy to understand how the game works. Well done.

maxgarena 2019-04-30 10:48

Cool idea!

jk5000 2019-04-30 10:53

Pretty and very well made strategy game. Both the music and art style is really good. The gameplay is really fun, but I would have liked the latter levels to get harder. Overall a super good LD game. Well done.

burczy 2019-04-30 11:01

Thanks guys for great feedback!

viktorwii 2019-04-30 11:13

Cool gameplay! Sounds fit perfect I guess you should look for some balance. Right now feels like i can use only dash&slash and easily pass all levels

kornel 2019-04-30 11:23

Thanks @raska :smiley_cat:

Sorry you have run in to issues @koemeterion but I'm happy you liked it

Thanks @arimie and @maxgarena

I'm so happy you liked it so much @oktarian!

True, @jk5000 & @viktorwii , a bit more time for balancing would be useful

chili-turtle 2019-04-30 12:18

This game is awesome, had so much fun playing it, but the slash/dash cost must be higher than the shoot cost, because its and damage tool and a move tool

kornel 2019-04-30 12:25

Thank you for the feedback @chili-turtle

fortheghost 2019-04-30 15:59

I love that art style and gameplay!

kornel 2019-04-30 16:10

Thanks @fortheghost

brigart 2019-04-30 17:43

Really good game!

kornel 2019-04-30 18:18

Thanks @brigart

generalanimal 2019-05-01 08:40

Nice game I liked the concept.

On level 2, I got stuck in a tree/bush and couldn't get out of it no matter how many times I tried to move, which killed the character. So possible bug over there / unexpected behavior.

Fun game overall.

ionthas 2019-05-01 08:48

Really nice game! I felt that the time between actions was a little bit to much maybe you could try to reduce that time so the game feels more dynamic? Overall a really nice entry. Keep up the good work!

paulina 2019-05-01 08:52

Gameplay is great. Nice idea for theme.

woett 2019-05-01 08:58

Oh, well done! I really like the vibe and the music is really fitting. I did feel like the balancing could be tweaked a bit, however. To me it felt like the slash/dash-move was too good, so I almost always used that move to kill people, while hardly ever using the gun. Not only does shooting cost more, but it also leaves you vulnerable, as you can't move out of the way at the same time. So my suggestion would be to either change the costs a bit, or make shooting better in some way, or make shooting more necessary (like having enemies on towers or buildings that you can't reach otherwise). All in all I really enjoyed your game and happily finished it :) My compliments!

kornel 2019-05-01 09:10

Thanks for reporting the a bug, @generalanimal!

Thanks, @paulina

@ionthas, @woett true we could have spend more time on balancing. We will try to do it next time! Thanks for the feedback

darspace 2019-05-01 11:00

Very nice game! :)

rocketraccoons 2019-05-01 11:13

We like your game, its a pretty good and funny idea and the turn based battle system is very good! But you can just dash and dash and take literally 0 damage, because you heal too much, but its ok. Good work!

simonl 2019-05-01 11:16

Really liked the concept of the game. And especially the sound sets the modd of the game very nicely

I also felt some balancing problems and almost exclusively used dash/slash and movement.

Tried pushing out once but didn't seem too helpful :)

wolf-flare 2019-05-01 11:22

It is really fun to play, i like the game concept, the graphics could be better, but good also

kornel 2019-05-01 11:46

Thanks @darspace and @wolf-flare

@rocketraccoons and @simonl yeah, the game could use more balance - thank's for the feedback and liking the game

fadex 2019-05-01 11:51

Whooo, this is so much fun.Thank you!

kornel 2019-05-01 12:36

Thanks for playing @fadex

t-bo 2019-05-01 12:50

Fun game with a cool turn based gameplay ! I really like the art style and the music ! Thank you !

davidus 2019-05-01 12:55

Very good game! Nice art and sound and very good idea! I had a very good time playing it .

cubicode 2019-05-01 12:58

Fun game and cool controls. Also the music is very nice.

I will play this some more times.

konsumopfer77 2019-05-01 13:14

Pretty well made, only thing i could imagine to improve might be that you sometimes cant see enemies, if they hide behind objects in the lower part of the screen.

kornel 2019-05-01 15:27

Thank you for the feedback and playing the game @t-bo, @davidus, @cubicode and @konsumopfer77!

pamy 2019-05-01 17:01

WOOOOAAA!! THAT WAS AN AMAZING ONE!!! GREAT JOB! LOVE IT!

kornel 2019-05-01 17:03

Oh, thank you for your lovely feedback, @pamy, I'm glad you liked it

dasmaichen 2019-05-01 20:18

This is a fun game and especially the dash&slash is a nice mechanic.

Thank you also for providing a web version!

heartclaw 2019-05-01 22:57

That's a really well made game, i truly enjoyed it! Especially the visual and audio of it (i'm quite picky at that) :) A few notes though:

1) i once got into a rock formation and was kinda stuck in textures. With about 7-10 "move" actions managed to get out, but it took a little bit of effort.

2) sometimes the player bounces off rather hard, which makes it a bit unpredictable when you are trying to pass at a narrow angle to some physical obstacle

3) tried using "Push" action, but it seemed useless. My suggestions on that, if you are willing to work a bit on this: - make Push reflect stones (it is not only useful when you are surrounded, but also fun and satisfying to use - make enemies die when they get into water - it's quite an obvious use of push, but also more frequent than traps (due to enemies' positioning and AI)

4) consider adding maybe a few more actions to take (changing push is already gonna be a big boost, yet i yearn for more!

overall, amazing, as said earlier, I really enjoyed it :)

linus 2019-05-02 08:54

Really fun game and the use of turn based strategy was well implemented. The most interesting aspect was trying to predict the movement/actions of the AI, you could estimate how far the enemies would move in a turn and use that to your advantage when using the dash&slash action.

The scenarios presented in the three levels didn't put up much of a challenge since the dash&slash action was really all you need. A few tweaks to the mechanics could have made the game more interesting and there could be a bit more strategy to the game.

All in all, it was enjoyable. Well done guys.

kornel 2019-05-02 08:55

Thanks @dasmaichen

Thank you for such detailed feedback @heartclaw! You're right on all counts. We even planed to add the water death mechanic we just run out of time

kornel 2019-05-02 09:42

Thank you for your in-depth feedback @linus!

one-seed-fruit 2019-05-02 16:15

Looks good, sounds great! Kinda funny too! And I got stuck at a tree and died, hahaha!

Screenshot_20190502_235310.png

In the tutorial, some of the text are under the buttons, so it's a little hard to read but on the whole I get the gist of the game.

kornel 2019-05-02 20:04

Thanks @one-seed-fruit for playing and including a screenshot

xeke-death 2019-05-05 11:12

Very fun mechanic, I only really used 3 of the 4 actions, though I didn't play all the way through.

The instructions in the tutorial appearing under the action selection made it impossible to read at times, having to spend HP to see them.

Sound was great, music was very fitting. Solid effort.

ytaha 2019-05-05 11:51

Amazing game. I can see that there is a lot of work put in this. The push ability looks useless but other than that you have my 5 stars

keyurrana 2019-05-05 12:29

Great game! Nice artwork and audio too.

As others have already pointed out, the slash and dash made the game a little too easy. Also, an indication of the direction of remaining enemies would've been helpful. There was one time I was randomly roaming around a level just to search one enemy.

Overall, great work!

kornel 2019-05-05 13:07

Thanks @xeke-death and @keyurrana for your feedback - and it's true, much more balancing and testing would benefit the game. If fact this is the very thing out team is talking about how to approach next time

Thank you @ytaha for the 5 stars and it means a lot to us that the amount of work we had put in is appreciated
