You need to include the data files and unity.ddl or else the game doesn't run.

memel06 2018-04-23 06:10

i tried to play your game, but it misses unityplayer.dll Add it!

vilix64 2018-04-23 06:19

Hi, same problem as by Pahlsoftware and Memel06..

ytaha 2018-04-23 06:43

There is no unity.dll and data files. You should zip them all

f14k-3r 2018-04-23 06:56

Now it's done! Thank you, @Pahlsoftware, @Memel06, @vilix64 and @ytaha, for test even that. Upload the game for the first time is so hard!

Unique gameplay, but the game was too short and I didn't know what happened after I beat carrot.

really liked figuring out the carrots tell during the fight kinda scratching my head trying to figure out the story (received seeds, one grows up to fight you, ..?) would have been cool if it was a bit longer so the two button mechanic could have gotten some more play

Nice graphics, it works well :) Don't really understood how the fight works, but I managed to win on my second try.

Good job! Keep going :)

I punched a carrot and I loved it.

This is really fun. I like the graphics a lot, and that half the game builds up to the fight.

vasco-freitas 2018-04-26 11:41

It was a shame the game ended so abruptly, a couple more fights with different characters would have been nice. I liked how you could tell where the carrot was going to punch by his expression. Anyway, nice artwork and original story, good job.

Small but fun idea, I wish I could grow a variety of mutant vegetables to duel would be dope. You had a story together with the gameplay and nice comedic approach to the story which I enjoyed. Only i was missing music which would have added a lot of atmosphere to the game but I know well that 48 hours is a very short time. :) Nice job F14K-3R, enjoyable game!

Short, but I liked the idea and your art was charming!

I was so sad though when the "GAME START" text showed and there wasn't an announcer voice to accompany it...

dovakla 2018-04-27 23:02

It was a little confusing, but I like it. I wish there was more gameplay to the parts before the fight.

Interesting intro to combine farming and fighting. I didn't really understand the combat though. My turn was always over in less than a second, and blocking attacks from the enemy felt like a coin flip. I feel like I was missing something.

Interesting idea! I really dig the pixel work. The idea/presentation made me laugh (in a good way haha). The boxing mechanic seemed a bit too random rather than something you could strategize. Maybe if the carrot's gloves flashed right before punching or something along those lines? Compo is short though so I applaud your work. Good job on this!

acotis 2018-04-30 15:09

I agree with the general sentient that the combat was a little too random, although I did manage to figure out that it was basically a game of rock-paper-scissors. Given that nothing you do before the fight has any effect on the game's outcome I might suggest you shorten that part, or maybe add a way to skip it after the first playthrough. Otherwise it feels frustrating to lose based on randomness and then have to wait to play again. However, the audio was pretty good (especially the "miss" sound effect) and I really enjoyed the funny story behind the game.

Funny game, I'm waiting for the continuation of the battle with the tomato!

I like the weird story being told here of a farmer and his carrot and I want to know more. The cue for action could use some more messaging though. Also when the fight ended, the game would often immediately close on me, due to the UI listening to the same buttons as the fighting. The graphics and style had a whimsy that I enjoyed!
