Man that's a good game. Not the best one I have tried so far but it's stressful. Just took me ages to understand I had to use the right mouse button but yeah. I think the theme is well respected but graphics are too simple, and there's no sound at all, that reduces the quality of your game. But yeah that was enjoyable to try it out :)
@newokmyne Thank you very much for the review. I really wanted to at least add some basic sound effects, however, this time I just didn't plan out things well enough 😅

this is a good game. i like the concept. while this "the area is falling apart" thing is common this time, i like what you did with it. in most games like this you have to protect a single character. in this game you controll dozens of characters at once, and because of that it gets really intense. The only flaws are visuals and audio, i can understand why, it's really boring making sprites and 3d-models, and coming up with a good track takes some time, but the biggest problem is the rng. sometimes i just get trapped and there's nothing i can do about it, i think. but besides that, this game is really fun. it's also really nice of you, that you inluded the source code even though this is a jam game
@monkosum Thank you for the feedback 🙂

Really cool game and nice use of the theme. First I thought that I have things well in my hands but it got away pretty soon :) I can feel the adrenalin pumping in my vains, I don't want to loose them all :)

A solid concept, well implemented, but the game lacks a lot of flair. Sound effects, music, and better graphics would all make the experience much more engaging.
I liked the idea of the game, and it's understandable visuals and sound are not that great, especially considering you had to learn about NavMesh on the fly (if I understood correctly). The important thing is it is fun and it feels satisfying to play. Displaying the path a unit is taking is a nice touch, and you included clear visual cues for everything that's going on in the game.
Are you planning on continuing development? I think if you found a suitable theme for it, it would make it much better (herd control simulator, a new twist on Lemmings, etc).
Good job! :)
@adultlink I'm very happy to hear that you have enjoyed playing the game 😃
You understood it correctly - during this Ludum Dare I had my first experience working with NavMesh. Firstly, it was a little bit of a hustle, but after some time I managed to create something out of it 😅
Yeah I have to say that the concept is great :)
The use of Nave Mesh is great for the first time you use it 😉
In any case it was fun to play and fits the theme so good job 🙂
Once I got my head round it I found if interesting. It ran a little slow on my system (But it is quite old so might be more me than you) I think it is something that could grow into a really good game. Maybe if it was smaller but plays quicker you could nerf some of the slow down issues. Sometimes less is more!
Nice clear concept, and fresh gfx. Good job!

Units are really hard to click on. And there is almost no time to react. Great idea though. Just need to work on some balancing. Good Job
@tlcoc Thanks for the feedback
Units are hard to click on  That's a bit odd. Did you only use **Left Mouse Button** to select the units, or have you tried box selection (**Left Mouse Button** + **Drag**)?

Really good game, sfx is little funny tho  I think the bombs explode a bit early but as you said, no time for balancing

That feeling when you know that everybody is gonna die eventually. After I lost my largest group, I stopped trying to save anyone and embraced the despair. The idea is fun but it becomes too hard near the end. My main complaint is that it is hard to see which units are selected (the marker under them is too small). Maybe the selected units can have a different color. Otherwise, the game is nicely done. Good job.

It would be awesome if the game is visualized around a disaster, with people trying to evacuate the area. But the simple graphics is understandable as it's a game jam.
Ah I didn't hear any sound on the original WebGL version, is that normal?
@jonasz999 Nice game man, i dig the simplistic graphics, although it would have been nice to have some sounds in the game, really enhances the mood. Overall a nice little experience i got here, and do try & rate my game too.
@vekstr Thanks for the review!
Unfortunately, yes, the lack of sounds in the initial release is normal. This Ludum Dare I didn’t have enough time to create any music/sound effects for the game :slight_frown:
But if you mind hearing some SFX, then I'd recommend trying out the latest release (Post JAM)

Wow! I liked a game a lot! Great concept and great take on the theme. Game mechanics works perfectly well. Sounds and music is well-put too. You did a good job with UI, taking in mind that you have only 3 days for this - menus looks very friendly. Overall it is a very good game. Keep it up, man!

I found the concept of this game really interesting! I loved the sound effects made with the mouth! However I think that with some additional mechanics the game would be even better! Great job! :)
By the way please feel free to leave us some feedbacks on our game!
@zinski Thanks for the feedback!
By the way, I already reviewed your game and I have to say, I really enjoyed playing it
