Fluke! Nooooo!!! :( Really cool twist at the end. Also loved the music and art! subscribe to pewdiepie btw manneeeen

procezz 2018-12-03 18:26

Nice game

However, it doesn't really feel like a game. Just like some animation or something. I really like the graphics and audio, however I didn't really understand the plot of the game (Why did the dog have to die? :cry: ) I wish it was longer to be honest. Nice graphics and audio though! I just feel like the game could need some more 'game' to it if you understand :smiley:

luqey 2018-12-03 18:41

@procezz I understand the way you felt about it being an animation, I agree that the gameplay was lackluster. I appreciate what you said about my art and music! Next jam we'll try to add a more interactive experience!

domixltu2 2018-12-03 18:42

@procezz lmao i kinda knew of that happening from the begining, but hey this is my first game i fully finished and im proud of how it went, next jam i'll make something better.

luqey 2018-12-03 18:44

@fat-cat Awww... thank you for the kind words regarding the music and art work, it makes me happy to know people are enjoying this short game.

duck-games 2018-12-03 19:16

Atmosphere, graphics and sound design was amazing. RIP Fluke.

august1413 2018-12-03 19:18

Well I don't really have much to add. It does feel more like an animation, none the less I really do like the art style and the story itself was interesting. Can't wait to see what you'll make next Ludum Dare!

luqey 2018-12-03 19:20

@august1413 Thank you for the feedback! About it being an animation, I totally agree.

luqey 2018-12-03 19:21

@duck-games aww you're too nice!!

f4kethis 2018-12-03 19:29

I can't say this was fun, but it did evoke a mood. I - appreciated - the experience, though I wish it was a bit more interactive.

luqey 2018-12-03 19:34

@f4kethis I totally understand, next game jam I hope to make a more interactive experience! Thanks for your feedback!

sapphiris 2018-12-03 20:01

Why Fluke! :cry:

Though I felt this like an interactive animation rather than a game itself, but I like how you managed depression theme.

luqey 2018-12-03 20:05

@sapphiris I appreciate your kind words! And yeah it is more of a animation, I've been getting that a lot, but it's true. Next jam I hope to make a more interactive game!

gamers-blood-entertainment 2018-12-03 21:49

I think i already said it in the "stream" but your animations are really cool! good job on the feel and deep thinking as well!

domixltu2 2018-12-03 21:55

@gamers-blood-entertainment I wouldn't call it too deep ig more explanation once I feel like updating the description which is about now ^^)/ thank chu for your votes and comment

kyon 2018-12-03 22:57

Really like themes like this. Too bad it there is not a lot to do but that ending was very well done! Felt shocking haha. Cool art style too. More interaction would be better.

luqey 2018-12-03 23:07

@kyon Yea it does fall off in game play, but I'm glad you found the plot and art intriguing!

andreadbx 2018-12-04 00:17

As i said on stream, more than a game i saw this as a short animation, but an amazing one! and that twist at the end, just wow, great great job, keep doing these :D

luqey 2018-12-04 02:09

@andreadbx thank you!

shahroz-khan 2018-12-04 02:24

It was very interesting to see the dialogue and what was going on inside the characters mind. The dialogue felt very realistic, good job!

dragonfrontier 2018-12-04 02:24

Wish Fluke could like his owner's face :dog: :tongue: :man:

luqey 2018-12-04 04:47

@shahroz-khan thank you!!

chinmay-yagnik 2018-12-04 16:35

popdaddygames 2018-12-05 15:00

Good work. :(

nelson-william 2018-12-05 15:01

Nice. I just wish the sentences weren't cut off sometimes. Anyway, RIP.

luqey 2018-12-05 15:28

@nelson-william Totally understandable!

choso 2018-12-05 16:37

The art is really simple and great, love it

luqey 2018-12-05 17:37

@choso thank you so much!!!

rebecca-kremer 2018-12-05 19:24

:O Fluke!!! Nooo!! Interesting short game. I actually wasn't aware you could move the dog until part-way through the second level lol. I enjoyed the music and art, though it would have been cool to jump maybe.

giome 2018-12-05 19:25

The art style is simple but god I love it! Music is great too! BUT WHY DID FLUKE HAVE TO DIE?! :cry:

luqey 2018-12-05 19:27

@rebecca-kremer thank you so much, that means a lot! I worked hard on the music and art! You know what's funny, I had my programmer @domixltu2 remove the jumping, and now here is someone wanting jumping XD

luqey 2018-12-05 19:29

@giome Ahhhh you all are way too nice! Fluke had to die so save his depressed owner! He had to make the sacrifice :`O

a little secret, there's a second ending if you don't go to him...

gaming-night 2018-12-05 20:39

I liked the game, the theme and I really liked the art. Congrats !

luqey 2018-12-05 21:01

@gaming-night awwww I'm glad!

meenners 2018-12-06 05:29

Gzzz! Da was deep! That was an experience! (The art was great! the sounds aswell) Great job!

luqey 2018-12-06 05:52

@meenners wow! I'm glad you enjoyed it so much! I worked hard ^^

falak 2018-12-06 19:48

Fluke RIP [*]. I think this intro is too long :wink: :wink:

domixltu2 2018-12-07 10:37

@falak true that xD And jump could have been an awesome way to get the player to know who they are controlling, plus visible movement speed ig xD

subtlydramatic 2018-12-07 19:29

Cool graphics and audio! I'd like to see you expand and add some content to give it a more game-like feel post game jam!

hakansoyozen 2018-12-07 19:38

Game was like an animation or cutscene. There was sure a plot twist but I am not sure that there was a plot.

saering 2018-12-07 19:53

Pretty good mood! I liked this entry, was kind of an experience!

luqey 2018-12-07 19:58

@saering Thank you for your kind words! <3

hechi 2018-12-07 20:50

Nice experience, a little sad but fits correctly with the theme. Great work!

luqey 2018-12-08 00:33

@hechi Thank you!

drauthius 2018-12-08 13:03

Good way to get some existential crisis, but I liked it.

luqey 2018-12-08 17:09

@drauthius I'm glad you enjoyed it!

jimbly 2018-12-09 20:57

Yay, I survived! Seems like I got a different ending than most people...

Great style and mood.

luqey 2018-12-10 17:11

@jimbly indeed you did get a different ending then most!

elnu 2018-12-11 01:36

Do you have a WebGL version? Thanks!

luqey 2018-12-11 01:52

@mertios I do not, I wanted to but i could never figure out how to do it, sorry for the inconvenience.

elnu 2018-12-11 01:56

@luqey That's okay! What engine are you using? Unity?

luqey 2018-12-11 01:57

@mertios yes I used unity for this project.

elnu 2018-12-11 02:47

@luqey Okay, so if you want to make a WebGL build you go **File > Build Settings**, then you select WebGL and let Unity reimport everything. Then you click on **Build And Run**. Make sure that everything else on your computer is closed when doing this, WebGL builds are pretty processor intensive. Finally, find the folder that you've built to and zip its contents (not the folder.) You can then upload that to itch.io. Hope this helps, and good luck!

ytaha 2018-12-11 08:18

Not really a game, but it deserves not 5 but 10 stars for the mood :star: The music was on point, and sound effects are realistic. I hope you didn't fired a real gun in your backyard :stuck_out_tongue:

mrjoshuamclean 2018-12-12 01:47

Taking the dog's perspective really helps this hit home. Great delivery overall.
