Nice game
However, it doesn't really feel like a game. Just like some animation or something. I really like the graphics and audio, however I didn't really understand the plot of the game (Why did the dog have to die? :cry: ) I wish it was longer to be honest. Nice graphics and audio though! I just feel like the game could need some more 'game' to it if you understand :smiley:
@procezz I understand the way you felt about it being an animation, I agree that the gameplay was lackluster. I appreciate what you said about my art and music! Next jam we'll try to add a more interactive experience!
@procezz lmao i kinda knew of that happening from the begining, but hey this is my first game i fully finished and im proud of how it went, next jam i'll make something better.
@fat-cat Awww... thank you for the kind words regarding the music and art work, it makes me happy to know people are enjoying this short game.
Atmosphere, graphics and sound design was amazing. RIP Fluke.
Well I don't really have much to add. It does feel more like an animation, none the less I really do like the art style and the story itself was interesting. Can't wait to see what you'll make next Ludum Dare!
@august1413 Thank you for the feedback! About it being an animation, I totally agree.
@duck-games aww you're too nice!!
I can't say this was fun, but it did evoke a mood. I - appreciated - the experience, though I wish it was a bit more interactive.
@f4kethis I totally understand, next game jam I hope to make a more interactive experience! Thanks for your feedback!
Why Fluke! :cry:
Though I felt this like an interactive animation rather than a game itself, but I like how you managed depression theme.
@sapphiris I appreciate your kind words! And yeah it is more of a animation, I've been getting that a lot, but it's true. Next jam I hope to make a more interactive game!
I think i already said it in the "stream" but your animations are really cool! good job on the feel and deep thinking as well!
@gamers-blood-entertainment I wouldn't call it too deep ig more explanation once I feel like updating the description which is about now ^^)/ thank chu for your votes and comment
Really like themes like this. Too bad it there is not a lot to do but that ending was very well done! Felt shocking haha. Cool art style too. More interaction would be better.
@kyon Yea it does fall off in game play, but I'm glad you found the plot and art intriguing!
As i said on stream, more than a game i saw this as a short animation, but an amazing one! and that twist at the end, just wow, great great job, keep doing these :D
@andreadbx thank you!
It was very interesting to see the dialogue and what was going on inside the characters mind. The dialogue felt very realistic, good job!
Wish Fluke could like his owner's face :dog: :tongue: :man:
@shahroz-khan thank you!!
Overall Great Entry.
@chinmay-yagnik thank you!!!
Really nice game and great pixel art graphics! Like your pixels very much! The scene is very level
great job
Really nice entry, good job!
@nanocube75 @morriss @pawel-w you guys are all too nice!! Thank you so much!!
@luqey the art and sound :thumbsup: :ok_hand:
@nanocube75 I really appreciate that! I worked really hard on it to make it look and sound enjoyable :D
rated!! <3 thanks for the catharting moment, I'll play again for the other ending
Good work. :(
Nice. I just wish the sentences weren't cut off sometimes. Anyway, RIP.
@nelson-william Totally understandable!
The art is really simple and great, love it
@choso thank you so much!!!
:O Fluke!!! Nooo!! Interesting short game. I actually wasn't aware you could move the dog until part-way through the second level lol. I enjoyed the music and art, though it would have been cool to jump maybe.
The art style is simple but god I love it! Music is great too! BUT WHY DID FLUKE HAVE TO DIE?! :cry:
@rebecca-kremer thank you so much, that means a lot! I worked hard on the music and art! You know what's funny, I had my programmer @domixltu2 remove the jumping, and now here is someone wanting jumping XD
@giome Ahhhh you all are way too nice! Fluke had to die so save his depressed owner! He had to make the sacrifice :`O
a little secret, there's a second ending if you don't go to him...
I liked the game, the theme and I really liked the art. Congrats !
@gaming-night awwww I'm glad!
Gzzz! Da was deep! That was an experience! (The art was great! the sounds aswell) Great job!
@meenners wow! I'm glad you enjoyed it so much! I worked hard ^^
Fluke RIP [*]. I think this intro is too long :wink: :wink:
@falak true that xD And jump could have been an awesome way to get the player to know who they are controlling, plus visible movement speed ig xD
Cool graphics and audio! I'd like to see you expand and add some content to give it a more game-like feel post game jam!
Game was like an animation or cutscene. There was sure a plot twist but I am not sure that there was a plot.
Pretty good mood! I liked this entry, was kind of an experience!
@saering Thank you for your kind words! <3
Nice experience, a little sad but fits correctly with the theme. Great work!
@hechi Thank you!
Good way to get some existential crisis, but I liked it.
@drauthius I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Yay, I survived! Seems like I got a different ending than most people...
Great style and mood.
@jimbly indeed you did get a different ending then most!
Do you have a WebGL version? Thanks!
@mertios I do not, I wanted to but i could never figure out how to do it, sorry for the inconvenience.
@luqey That's okay! What engine are you using? Unity?
@mertios yes I used unity for this project.
@luqey Okay, so if you want to make a WebGL build you go **File > Build Settings**, then you select WebGL and let Unity reimport everything. Then you click on **Build And Run**. Make sure that everything else on your computer is closed when doing this, WebGL builds are pretty processor intensive. Finally, find the folder that you've built to and zip its contents (not the folder.) You can then upload that to itch.io. Hope this helps, and good luck!
Not really a game, but it deserves not 5 but 10 stars for the mood :star: The music was on point, and sound effects are realistic. I hope you didn't fired a real gun in your backyard :stuck_out_tongue:
Taking the dog's perspective really helps this hit home. Great delivery overall.
