Knowing the effort you have put in the making of this game is enough to congrat about the result. It's true there might some features that could have been improved, but nonetheless it's a really fun game to play.
Keep up the good work, Ollie!

If the reason why the user interface didnt fit inside the screen was deliberate, then props to you, but if not, well, that's a bug. I couldn't really know what I was doing, and what the half cut numbers meant, so take my feedback with a grain of salt.
I didn't feel like the upgrade system served a purpose at all, just a gimmicky way of adding replayability. Otherwise the graphics are cool, and the audio perfectly fit the mood of the game.
All in all, it is a fun and good-looking game to play, but not enough to keep me hooked for a while. Keep it up!

Programmer art ftw! That being said, I would've liked a bit more of actual content in the game, right now feels kinda luckluster.

Fun game, with a touch of humor too. The aesthetic in general is super cool, and the sfx fit perfectly in the atmosphere. Can't really say the Ludum Dare theme is present, but it's still a really fun game to play for a while.
I wish there was some kind of level progression, so the player would learn the mechanics and controls smoothly, and sometimes there is too much visual clutter, and you can barely see what you are doing.

Unfortunately the game crashes at the end of the third level, but overall its a fun game. It's a neat concept, but I can't score the game fairly. I have to say, the intro was super smooth, I'll give you that.

It takes a while to learn the controls, but once you get some practice, it's fun to play. I love the micromanaging aspect of the game, takes it to a whole new level over the top down space shooter. The mechanics don't feel gimmicky at all, but I think the game could've implemented the jam theme in a more complete way. Also you can work around the memory limit by constantly switching on and off the on system.
The graphics are good enough, a bit rough at some places, but what can you do, we only have so much time to work on the game.
Overall, it's a really difficult and engaging game, but with a bit more polish, it can become something great. Good job!

I've eaten monkey shit way too many times. It's actually quite fun to play and explore. The mood is well stablished, and the graphics and sound match well with the overall theme. Wish the collision detection was a bit more lenient, and the timer felt too restricting at times, but all in all, it's a nice game.
MASTER OF POWER (vs jealous villagers) by randdir 2018-08-13T11:28:02Z ♥ 1
It's a great proof of concept. The controls can be a bit clunky, and sometimes when you click you don't shoot anything, but overall is fine. The sfx can get a bit harsh after a while, but I really liked the character sprites. I feel like there is a lot of room to expand on, but nonetheless, it's fun to play. Keep it up!

Really nice aesthetics and sound design. It took me a while to get the hang of the controls, but I really like how it feels when you know what you are doing. Good job!

It's a simple concept that could've been polished a bit more. The game feels clunky at times, the controls aren't that responsive, and without any indication of how the level layout is going to unfold, you have to restart many times until you find the route that allows you to get to the finsh line.
Still it's a decent game, and with a bit more time to polish the aesthetics and gameplay, it could become something impressive.
