Sorry can't run through wine.
It's not starting :/
Hi @ricna @vydra! Sorry about that. I just updated the ZIP file with a cleaner folder structure. If you'd like, you can try playing it again, it should work (I hope). It should work much better with Wine now! Thanks for the feedback!
Can the package size be optimized? 500MB is a bit too large. I give 4 points of support.
@jianghekai I tried compressing it with 7-Zip, but I couldn't make the folder any smaller. But thanks for pointing that out, and Hope you can still enjoy it!
the game is poorly optimized, the package is large. I think it's more unreal engine problem, but the game doesn't use it's grafical potention anyway. However the game overall is fine, I'd give it a four
@splix Ok, i'll try it again tomorrow

A good demo of 3d interface but I did not have much fun.
It's a great story-driven game, especially for a first timer, especially considering it was made by just one person. But it has a bug and it put too much strain on my CPU.
Nice story game for a first game jam, UE is one of the tougher engines to make optimised games. Good luck with your Game Design course too
Good job on your first Game Jam! Unfortunately, I encountered a few bugs that made it unplayable at some points.
I like the idea is fun. Okay the game feels unfinished, but I like you tried something interesting and fun.
This feels like a first game, and I think that alone is worth encouraging. Everyone starts somewhere, and finishing a game is already a good achievement. The content is a bit basic at the moment, but it is still nice to see someone take the first step. One thing I would suggest is changing the first-person movement controls from ZQSD to WASD, because ZQSD felt very unintuitive to me.
Well done to you for finishing the game, and for taking part in the jam. I thought the controls were strange and inconvenient, and I wish the game had some training on what to do, otherwise you’re great
Congratulations on completing your first solo jam project! That's a lot of different hats you have to wear. I was very confused why the controls were laid out as they were until I read "AZERTY" and then it clicked :joy: No worries, I managed and the arrow keys worked fine as well. You signaled quite clearly what I was supposed to be doing without saying it directly. Great first attempt, Fistal.
Nice idea. But it needs a lot of time and effort to optimize and finish. But its a great work, so keep ur spirit up!
Oh god, these controls... I somehow managed to beat it using only one movement key and the mouse.
The gameplay itself is pretty decent, I liked the UI for setting power/Hz.
The game is clearly missing some ambient sound and music. But those explosions were basically jumpscares. I didn't expect them to be so loud.
I tried all the frequencies, but in practice you only need two to beat the game, which feels like a missed opportunity.
Overall, aside from a couple of shortcomings, it's a pretty decent game for a first game jam.
Cool! Couldn't finish, as I'm on a bit of a time crunch - but it was nice to see the power/freq working, and get a little ways into the story. Bit fiddly, but that can be fun too. Thanks for sharing!
It's worth encouraging that you were able to complete a gamejam project for the first time! I have finished the entire process. The story lacks some twists, but it has potential. Prioritizing the completion of the work is the right choice. The author can delve deeper into the story narration!
Great job on getting the game out! I managed to completely break the sequence by simply checking back the same signal but was an interesting signal-exploration game either way!
Forcing AZERTY keys was a bit insane but figured out that Z is forward and went with it. A small tip, most engines (I assume Unreal as well) allow "physical" keybinds, which, ignore keyboard language layouts.
Good luck on the game design journey!
Congrats on doing your first game jam. I was able to play through the game without any major problems. sometimes text was on top of other text, but I was still able to read all the story. Gameplay was simple, but its a first try so nothing wrong with that. Controls as others have stated are weird and not standard for most keyboards. Good luck in game design fistal
