cool game, like this a lot!
Funny ending, could've been longer.
Lovely art
It’s a short and fun game! While playing, I noticed some lines appearing in the background probably because the tiles don’t align perfectly—which was a bit distracting. Other than that, the artwork looks great. Congrats!
@happysealgames Thanks for the feedback! We'll take note of that.
i loveeee the witch's visuals. looks nice, cozy game. wasnt expecting the ending haha
Cool game
Such a cute little witch!
Short and sweet with nice artwork. Well done!
really cute character! the story is also lovely, hope it can be longer
@anima-animus049 Thank you for your sweet comment! We hope to make a longer one in the future.
@ulziton Thanks for feedback!
@phoenix-fireflower Thank you!
@ciphereo thank you 😊
@basic-eagles thank you 🎉✨️😊
Cute! An interesting idea for brewing potions and using them to advance the story. it's a pity that the game is so short.
Okay overall it’s fine, but I’d like to see more alchemy and less running around for ingredients.
Overall, I liked the game, and the ending made me laugh a lot. The mixels are eye-catching, but the visual is still nice, and it's very difficult to make pixel art, so I liked the game.
loved the entry. ghost potion was fun, you did a very nice job on this :)
@denissobolev Thanks for your feedback! We wanted to keep the game going for a longer time, but we ran out of time. We're still a developing team. Thanks for the feedback!
@melomaner Thanks for your comment! We'd love to do more in the future. We've only managed to do what we had time for now.
@yarli We're glad you liked the ending! Thanks for your comment!
@floata3 Thanks for your comment!
This game is really cute, especially the ending song — it’s such a fun touch!
@mantou Thanks for your comment!
LOL, I didn't expect that ending. I really liked the pixel art of the witch.
@kazuren Thanks for your feedback. And we love our little witch!
There are games where pixels of different sizes make sense to be. For example, to create an eerie or uncomfortable atmosphere for a person. Creating discomfort. It seemed inappropriate to me here. I understand that this may be a necessary measure, but it is still better not to allow this. The game is good. Great job.
Nice game and art ! with more potions, I could keep playing for hours!
@loulou Thanks for your feedback! Maybe we'll do it again with more potions in the future!
@semenchk Thank you for your feedback, we will take your comment into consideration. We are a relatively new team, so your feedback is valuable to us.
This is honestly one of the best games I’ve seen I’m obsessed!
great game
@rabia Thanks for your feedback!👾✨️🎉
@eren38 Thank you! ✨️👾
I love ending song. Well done!
@looko We're glad you liked it! Thanks for your comment!
Cool concept but it left me wanting more!
Nice and cute little game with funny ending^_^
Nice game, I liked the art, but the character seemed to be stuttering when moving and sometimes I could see spaces between tiles.
Biggest complaint was that it was too short! I could totally see this concept expanded into a trading quest game similar to early 2000's flash games I played as a kid. The visuals were nice, although I think fixing some of the pixel consistency issues would help tie it all together a bit nicely. Also I did notice a shutterstock watermark? I don't think it's that big of a deal but might want to be careful. Great work though! Looking forward to seeing more from your team :)
@mistagiggles Thanks for your feedback! We hope to make a longer version in the future!
@kykypy3o8 We're glad you liked it! Thank you!
@ellaris Thanks for your feedback! We missed some details while developing the game.
@jiffy First of all, thank you for your feedback! This is our second Jam experience as a team. We might miss some small details. After all, we're trying to complete it in a short time, and because we're trying to be really fast, we might miss some things. We hope to make a longer version in the future. Thank you for your sweet and kind comment!
Lovely concept and very moody for the incoming Halloween! Keep going with your work!
I liked this entry, though I'd say the different pixel resolution didn't work for me, I guess I prefer when it's consistent.
In terms of LD format, the game really could use a browser build.
But anyway, congrats on the finished game!
The Ending Is A Masterpiece
The art style of the game is super cute, and it's feels polished. But from a development perspective—was the map made using a tilemap, or were several scenes manually pieced together? I noticed some tiles have very obvious whithe gaps in the middle, and in some areas the collision boxes don’t seem to match the art. It’s not necessarily a problem, but personally I think collision boxes could be aligned with the outer contours of the art assets.
The small UI designs are really interesting, but the level of detail in the UI seems a bit inconsistent with the overall art style (though I totally understand this—our own team’s game also ended up with inconsistencies due to various reasons). I also think the potion bottle UI could be done in a low-pixel style. I really love the cute sound effects when walking, and it would be great to add some adorable music in the scene as well.
I’m personally a big fan of collectible-exploration map games, and I really love this game.
Hello! I can see it is all your first game. Firstly, congratulations for creating a game! I can recognized that you tried different mechanics, such as crafting, interacting with the background etc, which is cool! The art style is cute, but would benefit for more consistency. That's a good start into your gamedev journey!
Most of the time must've been spent on the art, but it all fits and is well made. Unfortunately the gameplay is a bit on the shorter side but with systems already in-place it could be expanded into something larger or entirely different. If this was first/second game jam, congrats on making a playable game. Not many even get that far.
Just for future reference, from the rules "You’re free to use 3rd party Artwork/Music/Audio assets, or assets you previously created, but we ask that you OPT-OUT of the respected voting categories (Graphics, Audio). You can opt-out of a voting category when you submit your game."
I honestly liked the "drink this potion to collect the horn" mechanic, I felt smart for figuring it out. Great work!
@wallted Thank you for your sweet comment!
@marudziik Thank you for your sweet comment!
@theothervc We're glad you liked the ending! Thank you!
@einfach First of all, thank you for your feedback. We're a small team, and this is our first fully developed game. Sometimes we might miss a few things. We're aware of what you're saying, but since we've been busy since the Jam, we haven't had a chance to fix it yet. In fact, we might not even bother fixing it. We learned most of this while making this game. So, there might be some minor bugs. Please excuse these. We're glad you enjoyed our game! Thank you again!
@wakobu Thank you for your sweet and lovely comment!
@6knowledge Thank you for your comment. We will take it into consideration!
@taximan981 Thank you for your sweet and lovely comment! We're glad you enjoyed it.
mamudo kurban niye dogdun
Interesting game, I love the character design of the protagonist, haha. It’s so cute!
@mumu Valla biz de bilmiyoruz. Belki ileride başka oyun yapar öğreniriz 😄
@yuriscat Thank you for your feedback!
Whacky ending. I thought it just needs a bit more 'to do', art is good, getting a lot of rendering glitches where tiles don't seem to align or something similar.
The art is super cute and the ending is funny. I laughed when I heard the music. Good job! The character sprite has some pixel jittering when moving, maybe you want to fix it.
The game is good, the graphics are cool, it's just a shame that you have to download it
This game was so cute. I love the little character and her thirst for power. I wish the game was a little longer, but time constraints. And the ending was hilarious. Perfect! I enjoyed myself. Thank you for making this game.
The game is very cute. I really like your pixel art!
Cute! I like the visuals. The game is very short, but the mechanics of brewing potion and using it to collect another ingridient was interesting.
I really liked the game, especially the visuals and the fairly straightforward mechanics. It's a shame you didn't make a web version. And it's a shame the game is so short, but that's perfectly understandable considering it's a jam. You're planning on finishing it, right?
