Gave it a try on windows, getting this error when trying to launch:
windows build: archive is unknown format or damaged (WinRAR)
Couldn't rate because I got an error message: ("is the pck file missing") when trying to run the .exe on Windows :(

I got an error for the .pck file missing on Windows.
@binary-coder Thanks for the heads up. I'm reuploading the game now. Seems I was too quick there!
Cute game, would have loved a score meter.
Funny entry, I liked the fact that you took the time to prepare an intro.
The music was good too! Good job to you!
And, woa, these vicious bear traps are so hard to see >:(
I got so bored of bear traps that i started shooting every pixel of the ground. I shot my hare :(
Really fun game, would need a score just to know if i'm getting better at it or not.
I give you the points for humor, as it's rare to see such introduction in Ludum Dare;) Yet I don't know if it's the linux version, but the font is not very readable.
The game itself reminds of old NES times with the gun. I find bear traps to not be visible enough sometimes. Do they appear at different heights ? Good game for a first time anyway !
This is hard. But it's fun. Love the music and the sound FX! Some kind of highscore could be great (I think the lifetime of the hare could work for that).
Did you like using godot?
Nice and solid entry!
I liked the music and the old school graphics style, but it feels like there isn't a goal. I would really appreciate a score, either in meters, precision, time or stuff killed.
Also, sometimes I got my hare killed while I was shooting some birds, so my shooting made me restart the game and I didn't get to see how did the hare die. It would be cool if there was some other button to restart the game instead of the shooting button.
Did you consider a web version so we don't have to download it?
I like the premise, and I thought the art and shooting mechanics were spot on.
There are a few things that ruined the experience: - I wish there was some signal for how far in the level I've reached, and if it's infinite, maybe some points system. - The bear traps were hidden, so I had to shoot all of the bushes. - When the hare died, the level just resets. I found that confusing. It would help if there were an indicator that said that the hare died.
Nice to see that you're challenging yourself with a new engine. Good job.
The game is pretty hard but intuitive. However, the bear traps always got me. I think I only shot them by mistake :)
@chocolat-endive Thanks for the great feedback :)
I love Godot on a lot of aspects. It is very intuitive to work in (and quick) - not that difficult to learn as well (it helps that I work as a Software Engineer normally). I would probably use it again for more projects. I also like that it is so lightweight, which is important for me, due to the fact that I own a potato computer :)
Though, loosely typed languages are both a blessing and a curse to me, so I would probably say I prefer programming using Java, C#, etc. But then again, it is also very quick to develop in. For 2D games I would definitely use it again.
Are you using Godot as well? :)
Hard to see the bear traps, and a pretty hard game overall, though I'm playing on a trackpad. I did find it enjoyable though! Graphics were cute and pretty nice. Good on you for learning an engine while building this, you did a great job!
It's simple but really fun. Just it's hard to see the trap.
This is an interesting and funny little game. Both the music is good, and it fits the game idea very well. The gameplay idea is really simple and fun. I do not like that some of the traps is hidden. Overall is this good compo game. Well done.
