Nice, I liked the idea of the game. I found you can get stuck on the children quite easily at the start and lose a lot of power just trying to get past them. Might be nicer to start ahead of them and have a bit more power.
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD39 → Rover.GoHome()

very original idea but very difficult
Very cute game. The physics make it look nice. It does need balancing though. I completed it in the first go by just pressing on to the right.
@hellblade Thanks for the feedback! @bombjack @loveapplegames Yes - definitely needs balancing and tuning - never enough time! Thanks for playing. I spent way too much time on generating terrain and getting nice dirt particles :)
Won on my second try, although I nearly did on my first. I liked the art style and the physics of driving and breaking up rocks - they were quirky and fun, and I liked how the rocks crumbled especially. The thruster was not needed - I didn't use it on my second run, where I won. There wasn't much to do - I think if I'd just left a heavy object on the right button I would have still won - but it was fun to play. Some different play patterns or obstacles would help. Nice work! I love the browser games - so much easier to use.
I definitelly felt that there is some strategy in using the thrusters to fly over obstacle and let your buddies crash those rocks so the gameplay for me wasn't that one dimensional, but if the game can be completed just by holding right something's not right... however I always like physic based games and I was able to complete it so it was fun for me :) ... also I would appreciete some measure or progress bar of how far I am from the ship, it might add to the drama :) Also it happen to me in one go that my buddy got stuck on some rocks so maybe they could also be using thruster when they get into stuck situation?
Rover physics are so good, plays very smoothly. Very well done!
