It's a very punitive die and retry, I'm glad you added checkpoints ! I didn't manage to finish the second level, the jumps on the little flying platform are too tricky for me. As said above me, you should try fixing the hitbox to make the spikes less painfull.
Nice Game and nice Art. Only the controls feel a little bit slow.
Pretty good prototype here, I like how you used the theme to remove the powers rather than adding them. The bad thing here is the controls and the collision. For the most part the controls are fine and functional with the exception of of walljump. When walljumping the player will normally press in the direction they want to go, and then jump, in this game, however, if you do that you'll just fall off making it much harder than it needs to be (adding a bit of stickiness to the wall, or accepting a wall-jump after disconnecting from the wall for a split second, would have solved this). The other issue is the hitbox, the entire character contributes to the hitbox, making it much larger than it needs to be, especially with an awkwardly shaped character like this robot (ever notice how all platformers have a short character?). This could have also been ammended by making the hitbox a bit smaller than the character, especially the hitbox for detecting spikes (there's a rule in game design: if you have to cheat, cheat in player's favour). other than these two issues it seems like a pretty solid game.
The graphics are good in this game, and I had a blast playing it. I really enjoyed this and I think if you keep working on it, it could be really good. OVerall I think this is a great game. Good Job
Nice visuals! You should really make `up` button as jump -- would make platforming so much better.
Hi! I liked the "losing powers" theme - we actually wanted to make something similar in our game, but we didn't have time to do it :). I think the wall jump was very unrealiable and the spikes collision boxes where way too big, but other than that i enjoyed the gameplay.
Love the art! The game ramps up in difficulty pretty quick and the collision and some of the other game mechanics could be cleaned up a bit, but that's my only gripe with it really. Nice game!
I liked the game, had a lot of fun playing through it. That being said, your game highlights the reason I decided against this interpretation of the theme. The later levels are actually much easier than the earlier ones, leading to a difficulty curve the wrong way around.
Interesting idea with abilities taken away, not sure if this is something that adds to the gameplay, but its definitely good that someone explores this area. I like the graphics and the story and also the 2D platformer controls had quite good feeling, so this could a good base to solid game.

Oh, a nice platformer! Looks nice. A good promising start of a game.
It even reminds me of those 16 bits game where you have ridiculously large hit boxes and pixel-perfect jumping.
Also, the story is probably interesting but it didn't fit the whole screen, so I missed some words. But otherwise pretty okay. ^_^
That was fun ! Controls were surprisingly good for a jam game. The hitbox was quite unforgiving though :O I gave up at the beginning of level 2.
This gave me super meatboy flashbacks... Nicely executed, maybe a little tough for a game jam as I gave up in the second level.
Well, nice story intro (Did I see any star wars reference? xD) Gameplay mechanics are so slow, there are a lot of hard jumps, so it's a bit difficult(Or I'm so bad playing it) The sprite of the robot is so funny!
