@snowtv It should be public within the minute now, we apologize for the inconvinience.
We are extremely sorry for making you wait, just hold on a little longer and we will fix everything
This game is super fun. The controls are not the most intuitive, but this seems like a game mechanic in itself! I liked the overall mood which the music and the post-processing effects really helped. It is super hard when you first start out, and there is never a moment when you don't feel stressed. That is an accomplishment - well done!
The game is really good, it is too complicated for my slow brain x)
Very good job!
@schrunkin Thanks for the review, I'm glad that you found it a challange and stressful. Thus was the idea we had when making it. It makes me glad that you enjoyed it and I apologize for the controls being a bit finky, it was one of my biggest concerns with our game though if you think it works then I'm happy. Good luck with your game!
@solah Awww thanks a bunch!
Great art and especially sound effects, and its an interesting use of the theme. The controls and gameplay are innovative and the graphics of the ui the sound and the art all combine for a great mood. My only problem is that it's not fun to play, very frustrating, believe me I tried at least 10 times the level only got 64 points. But otherwise very good game.
wow i love the deathscreen ;D
The controller I have to said is quite hard at first. All the mechinery is good. Excellent music and graphics.
@digitaldude555 and @xkyl Thank you for feedback! We are working on controls right now, it will be easier to start off and also we will decrease the general difficulty. Btw my personal score is only 524, and I played the game like 100+ times xD
@digitaldude555 Thanks for the feedback we really appreciate it!
Yeah i agree on the difficulty part, more balancing and tweaking is deffinetly needed, It's hard for us developers of the game to really understand the balance sometimes, because as you know we played all the different versions of the game and it confuses sometimes.
But I hope you can enjoy the game more after we properly balance it later on
@minemes ty, I tried my best :D
Really interesting and unique mechanics. I really like the art style, but the spikes can be hard to see sometimes against the dark background. The controls took a bit getting used to as well, but overall a really interesting game.
Really cool game! I like the added stress of having to breath and do CPR on yourself 😂! The graphics, audio and effects worked really well together. I also really like the added details like the health bar changes color the lower down it gets as it is details like these that add depth to the game! The procedural generation also works really well! Overall, this is an amazing jam entry!
Hey, why so challenging? :D Anyway its fun to play. Was surprising to hear "warning" messages in multiply languages. I like the music, art, and gameplay, it reminds me cool flash games from 2000's. But its so f** hard, sorry :D
Thanks to all of you for your feed back!
@falsebracket I am glad you liked the art ;D, our artist worked hard on it, and yeah spikes definetly need some more work, in fact were just changing their look of it! Controls might change a bit as well to make it more appropriate, thanks for playing though
@black-flag Thanks we all tried the art and effects to work well together, i am happy to hear that it looks good. Procedural generation took some time and frustration but eventually i managed to pull it off. Some more variation is needed though :V
@alex-kpojb We sort of inclined on a more challenging gameplay :P The warning messages actually were pretty fun to make, good thing some of us speak Russian, so we were able to translate it more appropriately.
We all love your feedback and we will make sure to make the game even better :D Also post your highscore, let's see who get's the highest :smirk: (Also for balancing reasons)
Accidental copy
@snowtv Just a reminder, the game is out, we need the most feedback we can get right now and yours would be of a great help!
@anion-z I saw the last update, and the game's tab is opened in my Chrome, I just need to take some rest between each games :)
Will definitely giving feedback once I've tried it!
Sure thing, thank you!
I was genuinely surprised to see you haven’t gotten enough ratings yet. This game is super fun and well polished. Personally didn’t run into any bugs and it felt like playing a newly popular game on steam, rather than a jam game. Very well done.
@copper-aardvark-games Thank you for feedback! We were focused on fixing the bugs and couldnt rate much other games, Personally I think its not ready for Steam yet but your comment and any other feedback is precious to us and increases dedication to continue working!
Edit: This was accidental copy of the comment, but I cant delete it D:
I thought it was super hard to play. The way the character stops when you're aiming the jump makes moving around very slow. The graphics, animations and music & sound effects are all superb!
@bradur Thanks for the feedback! I worked hard on making the sound and art good for the game, glad you liked it!
LOVE the audio and visual feedback for what was happening! That part was extremely polished. The idea is very innovative, gutsy, and interesting. My favorite part in terms of movement, since this is meant to be like a roguelike platformer, was WASD to move, the short periods I was able to move mid-air, and Q and E to breath, although I wish Q and E to breath served more of a unique purpose other than just a thing that you do every few seconds just as a chore to do. I think the jump would be cooler if I could consistently control my character midair during a jump. (: Good job you peeps!
The controls did feel a little awkward but the rest of the game ran smoothly. The art and audio were great. Good job.
@kimily and @sherlock527 Thank you so much for your feedback, it really means a lot to us. Jumping will be remastered soon to give a greater feel and easiness to the process and better control to the player, we will also increase difficulty curve but decrease the general difficulty for a funner gameplay.
Antispamming is in progress to add more meaning to heart and lungs buttons.
Ok... got score above 500...
It's definitely require a little multi-tasking skills, kinda remind me of Manual Samual. The platforming is really tight, sometimes it feels like there is no way to get around the traps without getting hurt (or maybe it's just I'm suck).
@snowtv Nice score! Not may reached that far. Looks like you're enjoying the game :smile_cat:
Nice Game great work
@mario-marinelli Thanks! I am glad you like it
The graphics, sounds and effects are superb, but it would be really great if the Q and E was something more that button that you need to occassionally mash to not die (or have an effect on screen? not sure). I didn't get very far, but some upgrades like air jump or temporary shield could be incorporated if you continue work on the game. Otherwise really polished entry with solid basic mechanics and two unneccesary ones :)
@oakus Thank you for your feedback!
The buttons indeed need some changes, we are working on an antispam so that you can't just always press them. And we are actually thinking of making those bars more meaningful. I also like your shield suggestion, We didn't think of that, but yeah We might add some upgrades or pick-ups that you can get in the game.
Thank you again for playing, it means so much to us :D
This is a top notch game. Very nice graphics, sfx, particle effects etc. Very professional looking. I found the gameplay somewhat difficult, but it was innovative. Well done!
Nice entry. I love the visual (especially the fx)
Really nice game ^^ I really liked the soundtrack :) It really fits the game. The visuals were also pretty nice ^^ The difficulty is pretty hard and my best score was only 132 D: but still it was fun to play ^^ The concept is really good and I liked the oxygen + heartbeat mechanic. The controls were pretty smooth and I was able to jump almost where I wanted to (there were a lot of time walls D:). This way I totally knew it was my fault when something didn't work :D The sound effects also were really good :) The game is really awesome :D
@drskort Thanks for the feedback! We all the sound effects with our voices haha! Glad you enjoyed it, there is a bit of a learning curve with the game but I'm sure if you kept at it you would have achieved a higher score. Thanks again!
@guillaume-gomez Thanks! Our VFX guy did a great job and I'm glad you liked my art!
@attala Thank you! Glad it seemed polished, took a lot of hard work from all of us! The difficulty is the best part of course (and somewhat the worst xD)
I can tell a lot of work went into this game, great job.
@red A lot of work sure did go into it! Thanks!
This is a tough game! The visual effects are really neat. I do feel like I couldn't get very far though with the controls. Also soooooo many things want to kill you haha
My best score was 280 XD
Here is my gameplay video from the other day: [Project Slorgan: The Escape by Infinia Entertainment](https://www.twitch.tv/videos/420803795)
@carbs Thanks for playing our game on stream! We joyfully watched it taking notes throughout the whole thing. You da man!
Took me a bit to get into the swing of it, but I got used to the control scheme in this one. It's quite fun once you start to get the hang of it. I'm not sure if it was intentional, but I rather like that you can issue another jump while in midair after colliding with a surface.
The graphics in this game are pretty awesome. It really sets a good mood with the lighting. The character blob looks properly bouncy and slimy, right down to the impact particles. The wall of doom and game mover screen are both really well done as well. The spikes can be hard to see under some conditions. Perhaps they need to be brightened.
The music floats well with the pace of the game. It doesn't get annoying after many rounds of play, and adds a little tension. The sound effects are quite good as well. I especially like that you put in audio and visual queues for when the heartbeat and oxygen gauge get low.
I can't really think of a whole lot of things to criticize about this game. Maybe a few of the high and middle road passages are a bit too tight a squeeze for good character movement, but in general avoiding places like that when racing forward is probably healthy for the game flow.
It's a tough game, but the good kind of tough. This game makes you want to try for a better result right after you die. After many slime monster men died in order for me to get the hang of it, I scored a 541.
Good job on this one folks!
@vinay-rao thank you for feedback! Yes that midair jump was intentional, after ludum dare we will add levels and it will act as wall jumping. We tried hard to make all these things to work together well and give visual and sound response to user. As you said we agree that the passage is restricting the players movement and it was completely proven once we built a simple open level for ourselfs but with current proc generation its hard to implement, most likely we will change to level-based system like in Geometry dash in future and this will be infinite mode. The game was meant to be tough, maybe not as much as now but dying many times is expected :D
541 is a pretty high score well done on that, even for us its no easy task, shows that you tried a lot.
Sorry if the controls took some time to use to, we are working on that.
Thanks once again!
Edit: Im grateful you put time into your comment and provided quality feedback for us
@anion-z
The controls weren't really awkward in any way. Just the more you play it the more second nature it becomes to manage the resources. That's what I meant by getting into the swing of it.
Wall jumping sounds great. I can imagine some verticality to the level design in a game like this.
This is really fucking cool and has an amazing presence. That death screen is fucking intense. Overall amazing entry- can't wait to see what you make in the next jam!
Thanks! @popdaddygames We are glad that you like our game  . I can't wait for the next Jam as well, sadly it's going to be a longer wait than before. Also you can join our [Discord server](https://discord.gg/Jd3zBzT) For our future projects (Outside the Jam), we are currently planning on one game actually. I'll be happy to see you in our server
Really amazing game. You have to think fast and keep the control scheme in mind. Once you get used to it, you keep trying for a better score. The sound effects match the scene perfectly. It also reminds you to fill up your heart and your energy. The music is not annoying at all. I also liked the art a lot. It is fun to play. This is a really good work guys!
@gbugge Thanks! I am happy to hear that you enjoy our game :D We all tried very hard to blend the art and sound and visual effects to make it all look fitting and satisfying. Overall we are ourself quite happy the way the game turned out. Also if you are interested in our future games and updates or you just want to talk to us, you can join our [Discord server](https://discord.gg/Jd3zBzT) We are quite active there!
Nice graphic sound and mood. :hearts:
@mrstari we are glad you liked it!
This game could DEFINITELY use a tutorial to help players out. I know you list all of the controls and their purposes on your game page, but as a player it's super hard to not only remember every single control at once, but it's also really difficult to picture what everything does before even seeing the game.
That being said, once I got the hang of things, I had a lot of fun! The control scheme was interesting to play around with, and the amount of visual polish going on here is super impressive! I was excited to see what you'd be doing from a level design perspective, especially after I discovered organically that I could wall-jump. Unfortunately, I was disappointed to find that the level pretty much just cycled after that. :/ Maybe it opens up more later in the game, but I was stuck going through the same obstacle course area for a LONG time, so I just assumed that was the whole game.
I think this game has a lot of potential if it were to be polished up a bit more. :) Awesome job!
@coleslaughter Thank you for feedback! We would definitely work on levels if we would have some time for that, sorry to disappoint about that, most likely we will finish this game and add tutorial with more levels!
