Doesn't seem to be working? The bee just flies off to the left
Hmm, quite strange.. I wonder if your pc is giving right keycodes from cursor key presses...
I really don't know whats going on, but it's interesting.
buzz buzz! I can fly around and change into a metal bee!
Be aware that you can change the names of the links above, when I made a timelapse I usually used one of those links (instead of in the comments)
To your game then. I have no idea why I'm doing what I'm doing, or whether there's a point to the game at all. There's no issue with that, but if the point is that there is no point, you should consider telling that to the player, even if you only do that in the description above :)
It looked quite nice, but due to the vagueness I can't really see me doing this for a long time.
Is there no point?
Too fast for me, for some reason shape shifting doesn't seem to be working on my computer.
Sorry i don't get it.
The bee moves and rotates way too fast across the seemingly small field (?)
yup, the shapeshifting isn't as good as I hoped for. I wanted nice transition animations to it, but when I tried it, I noticed it doesnt work well enough. Thus I'm left with just changing the colour of the bee to metal...
I don't know, I kind of like charging through flowers and ladybugs as a metal bee
Well, it IS Flight of a (metal) bee.... But I don't know what I'm supposed to do T_T Nice graphics though~
Good work!
I buzzed around for a while, turned into metal, and tried ramming the ladybugs...
I kinda liked the graphics, but sadly I failed to understand the point of the game. I suppose time ran out on you? :-)
Well, I kinda only spent half the time. Had some other stuff to do during the rest of the time, so the gameplay isn't as good as I hoped for. (but it's common pattern for me in ludumdare, that it doesn't have all the necessary elements)
anyway, nice to hear people are playing the game...
I don't know what I am supposed to do, but I like the bee. Funny ++
Could you make a Linux or web build?
web build is not possible because i couldnt get opengl instancing to work in webgl. Linux build has similar problem and further I don't have linux box available to compile binaries for it...
I tried the web build, trying to emulate instancing with some for-loops, and the frame rate is too low; I get like 3 fps with it... So web build is really not working at all.
hmm, got the instancing in webgl to work. (minor problems with webgl version of the shader.)
I don't understand everything...
You should complete the description an tell us the objectives, what you wanted to do and what you manage to do. :)
20-25 FPS but the bee doesn't seem go fly smoothly (debian chromium core i5).
Bee look nice)
I don't know what I need to do. Are the butterflies hurting you? I don't get the point. The art level is quite good but would be better with more detail and elements.
I think this is a good initial idea but try to execute only in jam time is hard. I don“t really know what actually I suppose to do in game.
Congrats for a different game concept.
Buzzing around for no particular reason... should be renamed Bee Simulator :)
oh look! it's a bee game XD
