Looks great so far. Maybe the "timer that obstructs the view" should not obstruct the health bar.

Nice, Just some collisions issues that make the game very complicated on the first 4/5 runs but after I manage to pass ~10 levels (I don't know how many, we don't have count of that) before I rage quit ! ^^
Also, it's a nice feature to have the sound button on the main menu ! It was sweet at first and I appreciate silence too. :)
Did not see any enemies. What I did wrong?
@phoenixofforceThank you for your comment and it is normal that the tumor which obstructs the view hides the life bar it is to stress the player.
@leom Thank you for your comment, indeed the collisions are bugs but we can't fix them.
@truebach Thank you for your opinion, you pass the first room.
Nice game! The screen slowly being covered up was a really neat mechanic, I liked how it added tension and pressure to the game. The variety in enemies was also nice to see, I'd love to see more of them with different mechanics as well! And I liked the music as well; it fit great with the atmosphere of the game. Well done on making this!
@cakestorm Thank you for your comment, we took a lot of time to designate the textures we are delighted to hear that you like them.
like the creeping darkness concept. The controls can use some tightening, would get stuck on walls often.
@xenosns Thank you for your comment indeed, the collisions are bugs but we canโt fix them.
Interesting concept, was just hard to find the exit of the rooms as the screen got hidden by the black pixels. Keep going!
@solah Thank you for your comment, it's normal that pixels hide the output of the room otherwise there would be no difficulty.
It's a very good game. I like it!
@eliotta Thank you for your comment.
Nice game.
@lilie Thank you for your comment.
Interesting idea and a good entry. I found the movement to be odd at times and I would get stuck on nothing. The controls also felt weird that for attacking if I didn't stop I didn't see an animation (yet my character stopped). Also would have been nice to have the healthbar UI on top of the darkness. Otherwise a good jam entry! keep on making games \o/
@frozenfire92 Thank you for your comment.
I love idea of the screen being slowly eroded away! Only thing is, sometimes enemies would stick to me on top of my character model, and I couldn't attack them- I also wasn't sure if the enemies were actually hurting me or not? Gorgeous visuals and fun concept overall though!
@realtanhen Thank you for your comment, we are delighted that you enjoy our game.
Really interesting concept, I liked the art, and the pathfinding enemies impressed me. Here are some small issues I noticed:
- The player can't move diagonally - The player constantly gets stuck on the box's colliders - Some enemies will run inside the player and not be able to be killed. - There is no way that I could find to kill the rocket launching enemies. - I couldn't see my health bar when the screen covered it almost straight away
These issues are very small and didn't impact me too much however. I feel like this game has some potential and you should be very proud of what you accomplished in such a short time. Great job
@cakts Thank you for your comment, it's normal that the character does not move diagonally, it's normal for the screen to cover the life bar. And we also know that there are bugs with ace collisions but we can't fix them.
I like the idea! :mushroom:
@dactarium Thank you for your comment.
Nice idea, I liked the concept of your screen slowly being covered as you progress, and I thought the enemy variety was neat. I think there could have been more work done to improve movement and collisions though... maybe for a post-jam version. Also I agree with other comments that the health bar should be moved to be more visible.
@baconinvader Thank you for your comment, we didn't have time to treat enemy collisions and it's normal for the life bar to be hidden, it's to make the player stress.
Good job! Like the pixel art graphics and the music. Hope you had fun jam:D
oops did an extra comment, how do you delete your own comments?
@theheheo Thank you for your comment.
Good job! I like this game. Got stuck sometimes, but pretty fun.
@filipe-leal Thank you for your comment.
nice
@animawish Thank you for your comment.
Liked the game. Though i do get stuck on wall edges which hinders the fluidity of the gameplay.
Having a room full of enemies seems unfair but i made it through, a pretty solid game.

some feedbacks: * i like the idea of slowly losing your vision, creates a good mood * please list the controls, i had to press a lot of random buttons to figure out attacking and movement * the movement dynamics could use some work, there's too much acceleration and deceleration, makes everything feel floaty and imprecise. * enemies walked inside/on top of me, and i move too slowly to get them out, so that was a really frustrating way to die. * could use some kind of visual / audio confirmation when i actually land a hit on the enemies
Neat game, feels complete with a way to lose and a variety of enemies, and of course the procedural generation (I'm assuming, since you said the game is infinite) is very cool! I like the music too. I had a couple of issues that seem to have been brought up by others already like the covered health bar and the controls/collision/feedback not feeling the best. But it seems bug-free ๐ I'm not entirely sure how it fits the theme, do any of your actions actually delay the black stuff covering the screen? Anyhow, well done! ๐ช
@mordsven Thank you for your comment. Bravo for having managed to pass the theatre.
@sakura-magika Thank you for your comment. For the controls there was a button.
@ava-skoog Thank you for your comment. Indeed, we had some bugs with the hitboxes. And to join the theme at each room turn (about 8) the virus disappears a little.
