Nice game! I really like the idea and the art is not bad

Sweet!

Really interesting entry.

I love the graphics, the pixel art mix with those realistic lights and shadows works very well. And the generator animation was really cool.

My problem is the gameplay, I didn't encounter an enemy until like 2 minutes in. I encounter like an elevator but I couldn't find out how to interact with it.

The other problem is the theme. I guess you could say you're sacrificing energy to shoot, but then you regain it at the generator. So I think it's a long stretch.

In any way, I think it was a really solid entry. Great Job!!!

@sebastian-m Thank you for sharing your opinion. We know that the theme isnt 100% fitting..though we tried to make the best out of it ^^ :yum: XD

Nice game, the lights & shadows are a neat effect.

Enemies are encountered after like 2 minutes, I was actually exploring - but couldn't interact with anything. And suddenly my reactor power goes down. Oh darn, running half map back to find out that I'm done for.

Congratulations on making a game!

It was fun to run around the level with a gamepad. Something I would suggest is adding having a separate contol for grabbing and realesing a battery, it felt pretty inconvinient for me that i had to push the battery.

I had fun playing it. The sensation of exploring dark caverns mixed with the urge to keep running back to protect your lifeline makes for a fun experience. It felt a little quiet at times, though. Maybe some sort of subtle ambiance or non-intrusive music would help. Hope to see more of you next jam! Cheers.

Not seeing enemies for that long is really a problem. I was wandering around thinking that the game was incomplete and I did not know what I was doing. Also, the volume was WAY too low. I could not hear the sound at all through my headphones and had to turn my speakers up quite a bit.

However, I did enjoy the graphical theme of the game. The art was well done. The controls (I used keyboard and mouse) were also well done and worked as expected. The shadow effect was also very well done.

Nice and fluid movements!!

Liked the game, took a little bit to understand what I needed to do, so I re-read the description and looked at the screenshots and had an 'aha' moment. I enjoyed the art style, and like the management of moving away from the generator and coming back to it for energy. My biggest gripe was I wish it was easier to move the battery around. I think a 'tether' style mechanic would have been really nice, maybe trade off energy / speed to drag the battery around with you. But overall good job!

This game really needs a manual

Hey nice game, I played in my stream :open_mouth:

I liked shooting the ghosts, and the enviroment was really spooky!

During the playthrough I got abit confused on what to do, so I just shot ghosts sorry

A possible quick fix would be highlighting that I needed to find the battery in game, so I could have understood what to do easier - although I should have just read the description more closely :sob:

For a bigger update, possibly having more mecahnics that use electricity, a dash or maybe even charging up a shot to fire (big radius, piercing etc) :yum:

From us at [Whale and Games](https://discordapp.com/invite/whalesandgames) thanks for making this game, it was fun!
