TODO: review game
The camera rotation was a bit to slow for me, but maybe this was intentional to simulate rotation in space
The camera rotation was slow for me too. In terms of 3C, it's not really intuitive that the rocks might alter your gravity that much, and the jump is a bit hard to learn, it was hard to bounce wxith the orange rocks
This game is sick! Intuitive and responsive controls and super impressive for a game jam!
The asteroids are pitch-black for me, so the game is hardly playable. The flying creatures look great though! The camera was too slow for my taste too.
The problem might be caused by me being on Linux and using Wine.
Bit difficult to use the orange rocks, as others have said. Cool idea though, could see a walking-sim kind of game like this doing really well with some moody atmosphere!
I still couldn't push off the ball but the game looks great :smirk:
Very relaxing and satisfying to jump between asteroids in space, good idea for a platformer. But sometimes it feels disorienting especially when jumping on the orange spheres, its hard to predict where you are going to go after you jump on them. Maybe some other means of travelling between asteroids would be more convenient like air boost from jetpack or a grappling hook. But overall I enjoyed playing your game, somehow randomly got to the end but only found 3 minerals. The creature is dope.
@fictions @diringer-leo thanks for feedback. I added sensitivity setting in pause menu.
Loved the story and humor, great job to all!.
The art style and the music are really good ! The game is a bit hard to play, but it's fun. Good job !
It was really hard to tell what the minerals even looked like I was looking around some of the beginning astroids for a while with no luck. Finally when I ran into some later in the level I got the idea but calling it out or making the first one a lot easier to find so that people get the initial feel right off the bat would be good. How the gravity switches is awesome, but a bit disorienting for a platformer, going third person might have helped the camera move a bit more naturally. The bouncing element seemed a bit weird for the mood of the game, I think using a jet pack with refuel points/ just a limited use or something would have fit in a bit better. Not a bad entry at all, the atmosphere was pretty cool and the idea is fun. The overall set dressing though made it a bit hard to tell which asteroids were closer to others, this was only a problem when smaller rocks were involved, but again I think the third person camera would have helped to see what was actually close or further.
