Traditional box pusher now with height setting! Amazing! Good pixel art, makes object connection cause its eggs and pan.
Good level design. Also a retro style art and great camera cc effect. If further devs can add a "back a step" would be great, sometime a simple mistake will let the character feed the snake coming with a irreversible death.
Really nice audio 3d effect and mood creation. Greate game for sacrifice self and interacte with the dead block.

Nice audio design. The roling ball knock the Santa down make me laugh,lol. The control is a little bit slip but is ok. Watch the time flow and keep me busy on packages and chasing the last elf is just like a rush hour, good job!
This game get every point fo a LD game should be made. A simple game play rules but hard to master( no kills ). Let the player get shock when they get a achievement. Nice art work for the crowds moving animation and trains. The downpour of the wether and lighting. Proper sound effect. If the dev can set a target or a limit sacrifices of each level should be great that player get a meaningful for "not let the people die" reason but not for "crush them for fun".
This game is really fun, probably the longest game a have played in this jam. The sound effect and the 8bit Bgm is also great. I love this game.

Take a look at the instruction and you will not be confused. Wait a moment for others joining and the game will start. 48 hours for a online multiplayer game, really good work!
The art and the battle effect is good. The design of the monsters' skills are various and all with different cool attacking animations. I die a few times to figure out the skill dmg value or if it is multi-target. Maybe you can add some discription. The idea of using dying monster's elements to create new one is good. But with lack of ability to regenerate health between battles, I cant go far to discover more area of the whole map. Maybe you can change the type of the monster and the num of them for different grass, just like the Pokemon or the Dragon Quest does. Overall, this is a good game, with good use of pico-8 engine in just 48 hours.

Wow, this game makes me remind of Stanly and Protal. The voice play with player's choice. Perfect reflection of real world employee sacrifice themself for their family doing the same job everyday.
Lol, when i found that I need to put the job seeker into the grinder to produce the steak I laugh my head off. Yeah Life is sacrifice.

Dev-selfmake Sfx is cool,lol. 48 hours make a aircraft production and tower defence which the tower can move even sacrifice is a good job. Good 3D model for the aircraft, ship, and the ufo.
It seems my trenches life goes well~ The chooce with a lot a humor and interesting dialog.

This game is more like a inner sacrifice. Not the same as the other one which sacrifices Hp ,power or something. The core gaming is to focus on make the number smaller, down to zero. But player need to sacrifice, let the number grown for a better choice. Kind a sacrifice on the Philosophy way. Nice.
Babies voice is really funny, lol. And the gameover screen the village bruned me down. Interesting. If the beat of the bgm can change the frequency due to lack of resources would be better, like the space invader does.

Nice idea but I put all of my people into the exit and cant go to the next level. The animation and sound effect is really good. The design of shaking when mouse clicked is cool.
Did very well on pixle art. The human kind enemy and the minon of the cultist animation are great with good hit feed back with the player. Sfx is great when the flesh broken.
By the way, I'd like to know more about your camera following. How did you make that, it is really smooth and make the whole game more dynamic.

@shulgaboy Good advice! As you mention the enemy is stand and still, I make a quick bug fix. The bool value "Keep Firing" setting of the red enemy's "FireBehavior" was accidently been turn off during early test. Thank you for reminding me!
@blodyavenger In early design idea, the player can choose not to sacrifice the blood to face the boss dierectly. Against the horde of enemy and a boss.
And the level keep generate with different type of enemy spawning. If player take less damage from enemy, the can save more health point for power up. When the player think he is strong enough, head to the boss battle. Kill the demon and the game go an end. But random generation is hard to control, easily let a level become an impossible quest. Need a lot of time to change the parameters of the spawner.
So, I keep the hp sacrifices mechanism to connected with the story. And the level turn into a static one. (I make some meme of the old western movie).
@geckoo1337 Thanks for your support! And about the AI I make a simple description. (ps. I am not a skillful English speaker so it would be some of gramma mistakes below, sry)
I made a simple AI system base on a programming patterns called "Finite state machines"(FSM). The idea of the FSM is that you got a group of state, and the character can only be one state at a time. At the same time, the state will check something(do them in the update function call each frame or check player's input) to transform to other state.
So enemy beavior is different but the state of the beavior is same. Idle for do nothing, Move for patrol, Shoot when they found the player(or hit the shoot trigger base on the AI setting)m Chase when they found the player.
Due to a lack of time for coding a FSM myself, simply use the animatior controller combine with the behavior of each animation statement can do a same effect a bit similiar to FSM. Make a bullet spawnsystem but set different parameter to change the each enemy shooting style. Make a bool value to set if they keep chase when they found player, and how long they will keep chasing. And so on.

It is really kind of you in a limit of time to create a color blind mode! In the last stage, i collect the gold out of curiosity but suddenly all friend are gone! So I play again for selfsacriface to the true end line. Great game for the first LD!
Realtime energy resource management is a great design. Keep the player busy while they are playing.
Yeah, I let them love each other, I win! Never play a game like this before, quick reaction with falling blocks and simulate the conversation. Great a idea.
Good presentation on the intro and the tutorial. I got End3 for 115 points. By the way, the rhythm of this game remind me something. When I was a child the vendor for sharpen the knife or scissor attract the crowd like this. Same rhythm and the melody.

I almost got 9 point and I die. (QAQ) I got the control in 10 playthrough. Use the mouse to move away to keep the player character to move along in the direction. It is a little bit hard that the brother can kill the player while they can kill the boss too. ps. While I keep my pointer on the main character and keep my mouse stay in the same position, the character will move a little bit far away of my pointer every time he complete a rotation. I think this should be fix if the player just want to keep the character to hold and still.
Combine the UI elements with the phone is a great idea. If the camera can move along with the cursor to see a further area will be great.

This is amazing! Well made game in only 48 hours! With great concept art and 8bit retro style music and sfx. Level design is great combine with heros' abilities.
I run out of my supply for about 240 points. The innovation is good but the game is a little bit lack of challenge. If the status can dorp down quickly with che basket shake harder it should be great. I think the game is proper to go forward dev to put it on cellphone, spend a couple of min for a round.
Really good and careful word description with the events. The Brain worm host spread too fast and all my crew member is affected, so sad.
Nice use of the AP for sacrifice card and pulling them to battle field. Second level is a little bit hard for less AP, good item can change the thing into a different way
Use the block tile to change the formation of the party, nice design.
It is good idea for the limited steps and the sacrifices of the cultist. The end scene is creepy.
And the level design is good, by the way, if the devs can change the number of the cultist on each level combine with the mechanics, the player might think more before they move and try to becareful.
I'd like to learn more about the idea of level design, and the way you build the level with 2D and 3D combination.
Another thing to be mention, press "R" can restart the whole game, I think it should be restart the current level.
