Awesome game, there's nothing bad about it. Played it for at least 15 minutes.

Wow! The platforming mechanics are some of the most creative I have come across! The controls are slick and intuitive too. Sound needs some work as you mention in your description, but, other than that, it's such a polished game that I wouldn't believe it came out of a game jam.
I love it! The graphics and the mood are fantastic. Good luck!
Great platformer puzzler with a perfect use of the theme. The audio and art is great and very fitting. Your introduction of new challenges to get past is really intuitive. Unfortunately my controller does not have rumble.
Good music and leveldesign. I like this interpretation of theme.
@tinykidtoo the rumble isn't that big part of the game so don't worry about not having it, I more put the white noise and vibration warnings at the beggining of this post as I know some people are sensitive to it
Tight controls, a fitting aesthetic, and good levels. I'd just like to have had some more levels that use the throwing mechanic. Overall a really good game.
A game I'm gonna be coming back to quite a lot! What a great game! Played very nicely and i especially loved the use of things we don't get to see that often in other games, notably a big focus on white noise and a full controller implementation, featuring rumble effects. soooo so great, thanks for sharing and very well done on your submission!!
The game did not recognize my Dualshock 4.
@darn thats odd, I havent tested it with a dualshock as I dont have one so there maybe be an issue there then. If you dont mind me asking on the title screen does it say Press Start or Gamepad needed?
Your game was played on my stream ( https://www.twitch.tv/ursagames/videos ) on the fifth day of Ludum Dare streams (Part 2). Thank you for sharing your game with us! You can find the timestamp of when your game was played here: https://goo.gl/N2rkr8
@ursagames Thanks for playing! I must admit I have never seen someone get stuck in that switch wall and be unable to die, its interesting to see stuff like this which I never found
Very good overall, the mood was great and the controls all worked well. I didn't finish but had fun with what I played!
I just have two minor suggestions to improve: - The controller prompts look like they are based off a dualshock but my ps4 controller didn't work. Plugged in a 360 one and that worked fine though. Maybe mention what isn't supported? Very minor thing but annoyed me a little.
- making the game proper full screen would be great. It was just a borderless window in the center of my monitor for me. Full screen would improve the mood a lot.
Really nice audio 3d effect and mood creation. Greate game for sacrifice self and interacte with the dead block.
@porcus-pie It says Gamepad needed. To be fair, DS4 tends to be a bit of a pain, usually Steam handles that for me. Now that I mention it, I tried launching Recall as a non-steam game and DS4 worked!
Neat take on the theme! Overall I enjoyed it, although I found the throwing controls a bit awkward.
@darn Ah, thanks for giving it another go! That makes sense with the controller. Thanks for the feedback!
I really liked the onboarding that you did in teaching the player what to do with the helpful tips. It was a fun experience
Really fun game. The audio was great. The level design was, overall, good. There were a couple of times where it was mildly annoying because a little mistake would make you restart the entire level (specifically thinking of a spot where you had to throw your body onto a switch but there was no way to retrieve if you missed and it required some jumps to get up there in the first place). But those were uncommon and most of the levels were great. I really liked how you used "tutorial levels" to bring in the different mechanics.
@porcus-pie Hey, thank you for sharing this! I really love the aesthetic, and I think you designed the tutorial nicely. I would have liked to be able to stand on my corpses, though. Cause I got stuck early on, and couldn't figure it out. :(
Oh well, I just wanted to play more! Here is the gameplay: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M72hqBQNSIQ
@alext-design I just watched through the play through, you can actually pick up and throw the corpses as well as stand on them after petrifying them (which you learn in a later level)
One of the best games I've played so far. I made a platformer as well with some similar concepts, but yours is quite a bit nicer. Good job!
Nice puzzle game, with a smart gameplay related to the theme :) I kinda loved the minimalist and neon aspect of it, and the small puzzle. It wasn't as hard as I expected and this provided a good and non frustrating learning curve. That was great to learn and mix new skills to solve the puzzle. I had to restart few times as I did not notice the smoke ability, nor understood the throw mechanic at first so I was getting stuck... But in another hand i loved how you introduced the moves and controls in the tutorial with red points on the controller, I should have paid more attention at first :) That was kinda easy but very enjoyable. Great job especially for a compo! Cheers!
