Can't get the game to work. Pressing Enter at the Wait screen did nothing for me. Would love to try it when it does.

I forgot to mention that you need to start the Server as well.

Couldn't get it working... I ran the server first, but I couldn't get anything to happen at the wait screen.

I had trouble getting the game to start as well, and did run the server executable. The server showed the text red, but the game just showed "Wait" and never started.

The is a webGL game that is very similar. I like the multiplayer aspect. Great game.

Interesting idea. I liked it, but as I'm sure you already know, this was a pain to get working properly. Fits the theme well though, and I love the sound/music.

Tracing borders of territory on Mondrian grids is an interesting notion. If you continue to develop this, have you considered speeding up the movement?

I get Start -> Wait -> and then some credits and it crashed. Credits go by very slowly. Running Windows 7.

Always love to see multiplayer entries :)

aeveis 2013-05-01 06:16

it worked for me, I opened two clients and a server. It was very slow though. Nice start though.

Interesting concept, very minimal ! :)

For those of you stuck at the wait screen, you need to hit enter to proceed to the game. I have now made a note in the description.

The intended movement speed was much faster, however we ran out of time before the deadline to workout the issue.

Also, thank you all for your kind comments.

Cool idea for a game, I like the Mondrian inspired visuals. I wasn't able to play multiplayer but it seems like it would be kind of fun. You should consider implementing an ai opponent so you can play single player.

I got a bunch of "profiling:/home/me:Cannot create directory" messages which seem pretty wrong...

hamster_mk_4 2013-05-03 04:38

I played the solo version, but didn't find much interesting about it.

merkoth 2013-05-09 03:12

Same here, couldn't get it to run :(

Great visual style!
