Nice game! I love the art!
Hahaha, what a weird game! I liked the art a lot. The funky space babies were particularly creative. My only critique: I spent a long time having no clue how well I was doing.
Great art and music! (and thank you for including a linux build!!!)
Great voice acting on the babys and nice nursing roboter and general design. Love the trashy Title Cards :D i think it could get a little bit earlier more difficult.
Flower pot?
Wait, is the flower pot alive???
Ha! Very creative babies, I think flower pot stole the show. Very nice art both on the menu and in-game. I think some additional options to deal with the babies would've been cool. Mrs Molly being a robot has so much potential for gadgets and doohickeys to care for the babies. Area of effect items or dummy bots could add another level of strategy and fun. Seems like the worst job in the galaxy...
Thank you very much! At first we wanted to give the babies more needs and different ways to take care of them (maybe have some multi-tasking exercises to do on the keyboard) and also wanted to add a shop or level up mechanic to add more and more features the further you come and the more babies you have to comfort. But 72 hours is a short time as we had to learn. But with plenty ideas we are excited to keep up the work!
Hahaha, great music and fun mechanic! I kept forgetting about the poor kids that would spawn away from the group
Sorry, I can't change the resolution so I can't see half the screen...
We set the resolution to a fixed value of 1366x768 and unfortunately you can't change that as of now. We are really sorry you are not able to enjoy our game.
Really nice and complete art.
I love the art! Soo cool and detailed ! Nice job. Think about giving robot animation for tenting a baby:D
I was having a similar problem to Kure with the screen size, except that my screen resolution is 3200x1800 so I really should have been able to see the whole thing.
The solution for me was to "disable display scaling on high DPI settings" in the compatibility options for the exe. I think It's a problem that's specific to 4k laptops running Windows 10 but you might want to make a note of it for other players.
Cool game btw :) Great animations and a simple concept that nonetheless made me want to beat it.
The art style works very well in this game. It's amazing how frazzled the robot looked, zooming here, there and everywhere taking care of all of those babies.
Fun game. The pixel art and the music are great. Had issues with the resolution, where the sides (top and bottom) were cut off. Got around it by forcing the resolution 640*480 in compatibility menu.
The blackboard graphics for showing controls and between days are cool and relevant the nursery theme.
Good game really liked the art is has a pretty unique style, the music is very good it fits the game very well, overal is a good game with a good concept, a great teamwork, congratulations !
Nice work! Unfortunately it was a bit too big for my screen and some of the game got cut off, but aside from that, I really liked it! The child liked drawing aesthetic was great!
Thanks for the kind words, everyone :) Regarding resolution problems, we added a note to the description. Thanks @goffmog and @shephard-joseph for the (possible) solutions!
Blown away by the artwork! The voice acting added a nice touch. XBox controllers were greatly appreciated.
Cute! I like the sound the wuki makes :) . The art is nice and I enjoyed wheeling around the daycare. The gameplay's a bit simple but there is a relaxing quality to it. Good work!
Great music and sound effects. If only taking care of people was this easy. Gameplay is kinda straightforward, just run around and take care of the one who needs it the most. I thought it was really cool how you could recognize who needed your attention by listening to their cries. Things get pretty hectic after a while. I had no idea but it turns out I love taking care of space babies!
I was really impressed by the art in this one! Also, cool that you used Godot. I've been meaning to give it a try.
I loved all the different skins for the childrens :)
One of the best arts so far, the sounds and music are just amazing, overall it is very polished and it has a lot of potencial, great job !
blblblp, eeergh, aaauh, these toddlers just dont give up. I stopped playing after eight day since there didn't seem to come more children to the nursery. Good composition of all elements, felt like playing one of the retro style games :)
Artwork was fantastic!! Cute little game.
Simple game with cute graphics, I liked the design of the game, the night-day counter, the "cooldown" info... very tidy and nice. The difficulty goes in such an expected way that it doesn't hook the player. Not bad!
simple yet challenging, great game, sometimes the characters ar hard do get too, since there is a bunch of stuff crossing your path
Really loved the sound and graphics on this one. I felt the gameplay was a bit simplistic, but it was cool how you could recognise which baby needed taking care of by the sound of their cries.
Taking the time to include sounds was a nice touch. The visuals were nice as well. My problem was with the fixed resolution, it wasn't game breaking, but being able to use your own resolution is kind of expected these days methinks. Otherwise I liked the game.
Great sound and graphics- fun simple gameplay. Amazingly eccentric/ slightly insane... In a good way!?
Man, I never want to work in a space nursery, so frustrating. But well done with the gameplay and design. I can imagine you had quite a bit of fun voice acting the babies
Really nice game, Love the visual style too :)
@beebo-studios, do you have any ideas/vision how to expand the core gameplay? I find it quite simple and it fits the theme perfectly. But I feel like it lacks some variativity. My first assumption was that I need to use all the toys laying aroud on the level. Like matching them with the characters (sabers for 'wookie', pot for 'plant', rabbit for 'cube-head' and etc.) and moving around. Or it could be a different type of 'needs' where each type has its own icon and key assigned (e.g.: Q - pet, W - feed, E - water).
Another question, how many levels are there?
Here is my playtest

It was pretty good ! A little management game but pretty powerfull (and fun too, thanks to the name and design of the aliens) . I really like the "drawing pastel style" of the beginning and even if the two song are maybe too different, the sounds make his job and help to know wich alien we have to see next !
It became tense, even if some day finish too brutally
When I steered the robot around the room to the alien kids and listened to the music, I felt charmed. If you continue to develop this game, after day 3, when I had attended to the kids quickly, I wasn't sure what my strategy would be to improve other than to keep attending to kids.
Thank you all for your nice words <3 We never would have expected such a response to our very first game :)
We are aware that the gameplay is really too simplistic at the moment, but we are working on it! In our vision there will indeed be different ways to tend to the babies @icxon, like feeding, petting or singing. There might be skills and upgrades in the future (like the toys being purchasable and having different effects or nanny upgrades). Maybe some mini-game-like tasks like preparing food will be added. Daily tasks in the form of parental instructions could add some story. Multiplayer will definitely be added. And of course there will be more babies. It will all take some time because between the four of us, only 1 can properly code, 2 guys are artsy guys and the fourth basically just made a single screen and then cooked spaghetti for us during the jam. But be sure we are continuing development of our game!
As of now, there are only 7 babies, so you will see nothing new after day 7. At first, we had a daily increase in difficulty, but it felt too harsh, so we cut it out. However, that made the game a little easy in the end. We should have just added a "Congratulations, you kept the babies happy for a week!" screen, but well, we just didn't have the time to further playtest it.
Again, it's really encouraging to see all your positive reactions and your feedback is greatly appreciated <3 Thank you all so much!
