Nice ! i like everyfing ! nice job !! GG
I'm loving the game, but it isn't related to the theme.
Wow, I'm really glad I found this. The mood was set brilliantly from the start, and the artstyle helped set it - even the colour palette.
Because I'm pretty terrible at point-and-click games this took me a lot longer than 5 minutes, but even still I felt like experiencing more of this story.
Sweet job.
nice but ı think its not enough in keep it alive
The most polished game I've seen so far! It's very atmospheric and the story is interesting. Love the artstyle! And the music suits the mood. I got stuck a few times, but I'm glad I could finish the game :) Great work!
Beautiful experience. gotta give 5 for mood!
Good Job i enjoyed playing it. :v:
Whahh, I think this is probably my favourite entry so far! Consistently gorgeous art throughout, wonderful touches like the tape animations, and all used skilfully in service of a really compelling story. I did struggle a bit at times, but that could just be me :')
@billnotic It's about keeping the relationship with skating alive.
It's beautiful :')
Gorgeous and relaxing ! Thank you for your entry
Damn ! I followed your feed and I was waiting for it... not desepointed at all really good job pal. Just wondering wich kind of tools you used ? (mean for dev not art ;) )
Btw of course 5*
I love the mood and the aesthetics of the game! You really did a great job. Too bad I couldn't find how it ends, I got stuck after repairing the photo… I want to know the end of the story :sob:
I love the art style ! Good job, the game is very polished :-)
The art is extremely stylish and cohesive. The color choice makes it feel like a real point-and-click adventure from the DOS era, but like... through nostalgia goggles of "what I remember it looking like" and not what it actually looked like.
It took me a bit to figure out that right clicking was different then left clicking. Once I did I got to appreciate the characters and writing a lot more.
I had a lot of the same problems I usually have with the Point and Click genre. I spent a lot of time hunting for the right thing to click on. To repair the torn message/photo, I saw posters that are TAPED to the wall and I'm thinking "Oh! I'll take the tape and use it on the posters" but instead I was supposed to click the box next to the posters. Which makes more realistic sense but I didn't realize the box was clickable right away so I got stuck.
I liked the picture/message re-assembly part as a way to vary up the gameplay. Although I found it kind of frustrating that if two pieces overlapped I'd almost definitely select the wrong one. It seems they lock in place if you put them in the "correct" spot. I wish it were more forgiving and gave some sort of feedback when you got it in the right spot. The message was especially hard to assemble. I got stuck at the message because I don't know how the game is expecting me to arrange it, I have some pieces in the right places so I try to align everything with those pieces and the game doesn't take it. It seems like there's an expected gap between two pieces I'm supposed to fulfill, but that feels impossible to predict. If you're able to patch this I highly recommend it.
This is the best writing I've seen in a Ludum Dare game, it's a shame I'm roadblocked by the gameplay. If it does get patched feel free to @ me in a comment and I promise to replay and re-rate it! I wanna see the ending!
Also: I somehow managed to get into a bugged state where text would appear and immediately vanish when I clicked on things. It might have to do with alt-tabbing out of the game? Alt-tabbing back and forth seemed to fix it.
Also-also: I think there's a typo "You wanna to skate gain?"
@randdir I'm using [Adventure Game Studio](https://www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk/) as an engine. It has very handy tools for making sprites move and talk.
@kiwii you can give the photo to Gertie, unlocking a new option to talk about.
This game is so pretty and polished! Everything comes together to form such a good somber mood.
I had trouble finding whatever it is to stick the message pieces together unfortunately (I'm very bad at point and click games), but what I played and saw of the message has such a good presentation! I'm especially fond of the purple violet and gold color palette.
I love the visuals and smooth music but it´s hard to see stuff and therefore find it
Clearly the best game I've seen so far, from the art, the overall mood to the characters, everything is on point! I love it! :)
Awesome as always! Really love your artstyle
Beautiful and really atmospheric game, music and art were 🔥 and the writing was really great! Great game all-around, well done!
love the game sad that im stuck so early on with the repairing of the letters though else really enjoyed all of it
This is gorgeous, and really sucks you into the world really quickly (especially the dialogue). I got stuck at a point and couldn't progress, but this is definitely something I'd want to come back to.
Well done!
Im not really into point n click adventure games but this one really drew me in! The art and mood in this game is incredible! I also got stuck with some gameplay which is really sad but I definitely want to pick it up and try again.
Awesome job!
This is beautiful! The art is gorgeous - I love the colors - and the understated but emotional story drew me in. I really wanted to finish it, but I can't figure out what to do next after repairing both the photo and the paper - when I show Gertie the paper she says it's Meg's message, but her dialogue options about the paper haven't changed. I may have overlooked something. But anyway, I really liked this and would love to revisit and finish the story at some point.
Gorgeous art and a great atmosphere. The story is intriguing but I can't seem to find a conclusion to it. I really enjoyed what I played anyway, it's extremely well put together and well written.
Beautiful and moody game about relationships, a very interesting take on the theme!
I really wanted to love this game more than I did. I found the puzzles to be too obtuse in their solutions, though I guess this is just a common pitfall of the P&C adventure genre. The collision when reassembling the photo and the message was also rather wonky and a bit unsatisfying. But I adored everything else. The pixel art, and cutscene animations were truly lovely to behold. Great music to set the mood also.
Great work!
the garph is amazing, the mood too, characters are immediatly endearing, the sound fit perfectly, jolie travail !
I absolutely adore your choice of style! Amazing, pretty and even cozy. My first problem was to find the first item and then I stoped after taping together pieces of photo and letter. I gave photo to the girl, talk with her and couldn't find what to do next, it's so sad :/ But this game is absolutely pretty and music is so fitting. Good job!
Such a cute game! I loved your art! The color palette is very beautiful and the soundtrack is quite dramatic. Worthy of the story. Let's take into account that I love point and click, so in summary: I liked it a lot!
Congratulations for the game!
Really beautiful micro adventure game, with so much color and character. Thank you for sharing this!
This is just beautiful! I sure have a thing for point'n'click games, but besides that colours and ambient and everything is awesome. The only thing that got me a bit mad was how precise the assembling puzzle need to be, and the difficulty to grab some pieces when they were too close, I needed to move the whole puzzle just to pick some piece that was misplaced.
The art is beautiful and the mood is great. But the puzzles aren't very intuitive and I just can't arrange the photography parts. They are all about the right place but it never register as right and a lot of times I try to select one piece and end up picking up another. I ended up giving up becausa I was already stressed out from the first puzzles. Having to right click the box to be able to find the tape made me spend a lot of time stuck. I really wanted to experience the story but gameplay is driving me crazy.
Still it has potential to an interesting narrative driven game. Keep up the great work!
The art and colours in this are so lovely and make it a real pleasure to play through. Took me awhile to find the first object in the first room which was a bit frustrating but that is always the difficulty with point and click games.
This was so good !! The mood of this game is incredible, everything works so well ! The music, the art syle the story ! Loved it I really enjoy point and click games this was definitly a very nice one, the visuals fit very well with the gameplay
Loved it! I used to play roller derby and this felt really personal to me. The art is so cute, and the music fits really well :) I'd love to know more about the story!
Lovely little story! I stuck at first when I couldn't find a duct tape (even now I'm not totally sure how did I get it). But graphics and mood are great! Good job!
Wonderfully moody mini point and click adventure, graphics and music really sing. Some more hints would've been good as things I tried that seemed reasonable didn't seem to work, like using tape on the torn photo. Great potential if you carry on working on it. (EDIT: got a bit further with some more exploration!)

Hi there! I really really really loved the art-style and the overall mood. It's just amazing. The color palette is great and some details like how you crafted the dialogues are really good.
Despite that gameplay kept pulling me out of the experience. I usually have a hard time with point and click games where the story is so cool that I just want to explore the world. But the puzzles on this one were quite obscure. Would love to see a full game featuring this vibe but without pixel-hunting or traditional puzzles.
One of my favorite LD game, I must say. The art and palette are so enjoyable... I absolutely adore it. Lovely story, good puzzles - though I got stuck looking for the tape since I didn't use right click until looking at that page again. Music makes for a great mood. Amazing work there!
That walkcycle and idle pose is *mwah* incredible!! Lovely lovely work <3 (as usualy)
Incredible art, incredible atmosphere. You did an amazing job :raised_hands:
