I like the game. Nice idea, good graphics and sounds. But if you make the game on itch smaller size that will be awesome. It's not fitting screen. Maybe 960x540 will be good.

@naganen thanks for that,I will try

meenakshi 2023-04-30 11:45

I went on to play for a long time! It was calming and fun. Game art and presentation is very appealing. It would be more fun if the player got to do more things. I was mostly watching my bikers deliver lol. Also, It matches the theme perfectly. Great game. (Also faced the above mentioned screen issue on itch)

sharploaded 2023-05-01 06:45

Very nice art and audio, although the sounds get a bit annoying in the end when you have a lot of bikes. I did not finish (if there is an end). After unlocking all the bike upgrades and a few town upgrades the progress was slow, and the town upgrades did not seem to do much because the biggest bottleneck was that the bikers had to wait for each other. Road design did not seem to matter a lot.

Would be super cool to be able to set different road designs for each bike. That way I could optimize the waiting times.

Good potential, and great job!

aznoqmous 2023-05-01 09:19

I had way too much fun ! Loved the sound and graphics, I wish there was more upgrades and customization tho

zsharpfire 2023-05-01 14:29

TL;DR A really nice and fun game, would love to see updates.

The audio was nice but I must admit that the SFXs get a bit annoying when you get deeper into the game

The graphics are lovely, everything looks really nice

The gameplay loop is really fun at first but gets a bit repetetive in the end when you realize there's really nothing more for you to do

Overall a nice game, It kept me attached to the screen for quite some time. Good Job!

kaptajnen 2023-05-02 05:26

Really nice game, good idea, and great execution. It was a bit annoying that the bikes ended up almost standing in line so the benefit of more bikes wasn't necessarily obvious. It also seemed like the bikes didn't always grab items up to their full capacity, and also didn't empty their bags completely when they were at a town with ample space.

milkwine 2023-05-02 06:27

Good early progression, the bike upgrades all felt good to get. The city upgrades were more expensive but didn't feel as worthwhile to wait for. Graphical style was nice.

devdevice 2023-05-02 06:30

Great game but needs some balance. The costs of cyclists are too low compared to cities.

dxk2294 2023-05-02 06:59

I'm a sucker for incremental and incremental-like games, and I really enjoyed this one! I have to echo the other comments - the sound effects (particularly the looping background music) did start to wear on me near the end. But I was surprised by much the game expanded over time, and I really enjoyed the sound effects during the slow-going early stages!

jaxah 2023-05-02 07:14

I'm a sucker for idle games, and this is no different! Love it and spent waaaay to long on it!

kgurniak91 2023-05-02 07:29

Addictive and fun, but would be nice if the progress bars didn't disappear when getting to "0", after a while it's hard to see which town needs which resource. Some ability to move the camera would be nice too because 4th town is hidden under GUI. IS the road drawing in final game? Because clicking on towns does nothing for me.

twowolf 2023-05-02 10:13

Loved the game. I like idle games and I guess I really just like the environment. I do agree that the cost of cyclists to cities ratio is a bit too much, but maybe that's just me.

edit: Sorry I must have lost my mind in the middle of writing this comment. Anyway, what I meant was that it's no biggie.

chum-chum 2023-05-02 14:14

Great entry! Music was really nice. The UI doesn't scale correctly when the game is minimized, Also the tutorial was a bit hard to understand since the tutorial text would disappear too quickly. Loved the gameplay. Great game! :bicyclist:

A nice game and a really innovative approach to the idle game genre. Instead of a single "number go up" (like Cookie Clicker) you have bike capacities, town capacities, loading speeds, routing, production/consumption cycles, and others. I love optimization games and this scratched a similar itch. Nice work!

Some thoughts:

* One of the biggest sources of engagement for idle games is the feeling that you're always "just one upgrade away", that every upgrade feels significant and will let you snowball the rest of the game. The bike upgrades did this really well, but the town upgrades felt too expensive and not impactful relative to their cost. * Graphically, I love that you can see each produce item individually being loaded on each cyclist, a very cool detail that adds a lot. It's fun to see and hear them get rapid-fire loaded onto each bike. * One small gripe about graphics is the thickness of the borders of your sprites is pretty random, which looks a bit odd. I imagine this is because the sprites are drawn at different native resolutions; if you enforce the same native scaling across all sprites and use the same brush sizes, you can get cleaner outlines and therefore and overall cleaner look. Of course, this is Ludum Dare, and an ambitious project as-is for one person, so it's hard to have time for polishing stuff like that in the end.

Great game :)

hagamosvideojuegos 2023-05-04 06:45

I like it a lot!

Have a little issue in web, it's difficult to watch if the UI use more than 50% of screen :(

Maybe if you can change the path of the bikes individually or they use a random path can be better than use the same all because make a queue all the time.

Good job!

alex-chertilin 2023-05-04 06:49

I like the game spending some time there. Until suddenly my Mac turned off)

mintbreak 2023-05-04 07:18

GGs I can kiss my day goodbye. Nice idle game you made here.

temp 2023-05-04 12:43

Pretty fun idle game,I like the art and cool idea.

yoddaa 2023-05-04 13:39

very cool game I love the idea. very good job. I got 5 bikes and city.. after a while got focus no the score getting speed. good job.

josemwarrior 2023-05-04 14:24

the bike upgrades part was super b, the city upgrades part was extremely slow and boring, you have to wait too much, and even it doesn't make much sense

overall it's impressive the amount of work just for 48h, congratulation

cheesepencil 2023-05-04 14:59

goodness I love the colors and particle effects a lot, I got pretty far but still have no idea how to optimize the routes. great compo entry

sodoj 2023-05-04 15:36

What a great compo game that starts out simple and then becomes more and more complex! I loved my time with this one, planning routes, upgrading my guys and eventually upgrading the towns themselves and whatnot. My only two gripes are the sound effects that overlap once you have too many couriers and the route planning wasn't very intuitive, but other than that this is an amazing jam game. Super cool!

bartalomew 2023-05-04 16:06

I played longer than anticipated, so that tells you something. Once you max out the bike section upgrades, the city upgrades feel more like an idle game, than a managment one. Maybe some random events or anything that would mix it up a bit would help, but anyways it was fun!

alexascher 2023-05-04 16:55

Good idle game. Liked the setting and progression system. I was pleasantly surprised when new layers of gameplay appeared - roads and town upgrades.

zaphire 2023-05-04 17:51

Thanks for making me procrastinate.

sneakyfox 2023-05-04 18:38

Ok, it's nice click idle game) Don't see a lot of management, but is' a good start to make more complex mechanics. It was pleasant to play, thanks)

I have issue where I can't see 5th town and map is not scrolling and start fiew only with 4 of them. Also it COMPO, nice! And you made it on your own, nice work.

follett12 2023-05-05 08:08

Really really like the sound work and its a nice little idle game which I can imagine could be expanded to have a ton of great complex mechanics. I did notice that a town got obscured by the UI but it didn't affect my enjoyment of a really fun game! Great work.

alexascher 2023-05-05 08:21

Good idle game. Liked the setting and progression system. I was pleasantly surprised when I've unlocked town and road upgrades.

flaterectomy 2023-05-05 08:48

The ringing of bicycle bells got a little over the top with a couple of bikes out. I was happy to see new mechanics appear over time, though I wished there was a little more to *do*, even if that's not what idle games are generally known for.

The art is clear, the sfx are good (but too numerous and repetitive) and the music brought chill elevator vibes.

dmitrygalias 2023-05-05 09:15

Nice game! Perfect fit the theme. I love that feel of progression when you upgrade bike. Only 1 issue I found is that the bike has to wait for another bike to leave the city. But overall very good game. Screenshot_1.jpg

furtive-pygmy 2023-05-05 11:52

Loved it, great little idle game! If you want to make it fit the UI on a webGL build you might need to play with the width/height canvas settings in index.html of the build as I had to (I notice you haven't changed it from 960x600), it did my head in trying to get mine just right: abd.png

brandon-campbell 2023-05-05 17:12

Great little game. If you were able to define multiple routes, and then add riders to those routes, that would really take the game to the next level. Right now the road design is pointless because the riders all just wait in line no matter what road design you choose.

aweelex 2023-05-05 18:04

All these animations and interactions are really pleasant to watch. Pretty food for an Idle game. Would like to have more management for dealers. Nice game overall. Good job.

iqoribou 2023-05-06 03:28

Very good little game, as an idle game and a bike enthusiast I loved that one. The sfx really add a lot and the game feels pretty polished overall. The tutorial part did seem a bit long, and I wish upgrades could be brought to a higher level but aside from that very good entry!

zungryware 2023-05-06 23:03

Interesting idle game. It was fun trying to figure out how to optimize my route, but I don't feel as though I ever got the efficiency I was hoping for.

If you assume each biker spends the same amount of time at each city, you should hit max near max efficiency with five bikers. The problem is that with limited city capacity (each city buys goods only if it has half or less and sells only if it has half or more), it can cause bikers to skip past a city and get blocked by the biker in front of it. So the capacity upgrades didn't so much feel like they were giving me some huge bang for my buck like I would expect by their price. It just felt like I was finally getting a the efficiency from the bikers I had already paid for. And since the city upgrades increase in price way faster than their benefits would suggest, the game gets really sluggish at the end.

I think it's a bad idea to upgrade bike capacity too much because then it runs out a village's stock faster and causes a bike to take longer at each villlage. Which therefore causes bigger jams instead of spreading the bikes out across the villages.

The "sells-everything" village in the bottom left felt kinda pointless because my bikers would always buy low-margin goods first instead of the high-margin bananas. And there was usually plenty to buy from at least one of the other three towns and I would rather they buy from the right and top villages.

joshuarabbit 2023-05-07 10:19

This game is good and relaxing. I love the sound effect

dusho 2023-05-07 16:57

interesting idea.. fits theme nicely.. love games like this.. the art is really nice, if font and those buttons would be in same style, it would look much much better.. overall really good entry

squidgod 2023-05-09 01:53

This was really fun to play! I love idle games, and being able to put one together over the course of a jam is awesome. The progression at the beginning with the bikes was done great! Nice job.

ollie-d 2023-05-09 07:42

Love the music and audio in general! I'm not a big idle fan, but this was implemented well. Great submission!
