This is a great looking game! The music is awesome, too. It's super hard, though, and I'm bad at games... so that's a rough combo. I feel like it would have been better if the first wave was slower and/or had fewer enemies. Overall, good work!
Thanks for the feedbacks everyone! The first wave seems too fast for everyone as we didn't got the time to adjust this. We consider doing a small patch for the beginning of the game so it'll be more manageable to read the gold while fighting the waves !
And for @killofox , playing creatures on turrets allows you to have more power as for the snail (slow allie) + turret = turret that can throw better slow to stop enemies ect.. It needs to be more visible maybe!

A fun game. Nice graphics and music. Perhaps because of my little gaming experience, I didn't have enough time to figure out what was what. After losing, the game does not start (enemies do not move to the nexus), but this is solved by the "Resume" button. Perhaps, at first, there is not enough game currency, since if you put the most expensive item, the player will quickly lose. I think I would arrange the items in ascending order of their value. I guess I didn't have enough training. Thanks for game! Good luck!

Good work, but still a little frustrated with this one. As everyone says, first wave was indeed fast, but moreover, the sound effects really made it feel too chaotic. I ended up using the "pause" button just to find my feet and see what towers needed the most attention. Graphics and design are truly very awesome and consistent (great job), so I was disappointed to see the sprites just slid around without any personality.
Great game! I really like how polished it feels. It took me a bit of time to figure everything out, but once I did, I had a good experience and really enjoyed it. It’s also impressive to see how a team with so many people managed to create this in such a short time frame.
I think the enemy art could be improved by adding some shadows for more depth. Also, the health bars on enemies feel too wide compared to their height and could be made smaller for better balance. The game could also benefit from providing more information about units and buildings for better clarity on what they do.
It’s great to see that there are so many sound effects, which really enhance the overall quality and immersion. I’d definitely be interested in reading a devlog about how this was made, since managing to create such a solid game with a large team in such a short amount of time is really cool!
Fun and engaging tower defense game. A bit frantic at first, but I don't mind that. I like the variation of creatures and abilities from the merge mechanics too.

Neat art and nice sound design! Gameplay is very rapid at first, but then I figured out how to survive a bit longer. At some point I've got a bug where I can't place creature on the tower because it toggles upgrade button instead :( Also would be great to show score at the end screen so I can know how long did I survive. Thank you!

Sorry for the fast gameplay, we were so focused on finishing the game that we forgot to tweak that before the end, it was trully a 3 days sprint for us. We balanced the game and solved bugs in the version that should be available on itch.io .

Love the tutorial, and the UI look very good. Interesting way to make a tower defens reminds me of the Old ones army from terraria
The graphics and audio are great, the difficulty is definitely something to consider ramping up slowly. The top UI had a few places it could be made clearer. The leading zeros made the numbers all blend together, and it was hard to see at a glance which things were most expensive. The different unit types had different background colors, but they were desaturated and not visually distinct. Spacing out the towers from the consumables and creatures would make this clearer as well. Having only a few of the units available at the start would also help the game feel simpler. Overall it was fun, and impressive that you managed such a large team.
Love me some good tower defense games! Of course it would be better with proper stages, to give the player more time and to slowly introduce the different towers and abilities, but I guess that was difficult to do within the short jam. Regardless, well done!
Cute! Super fast on the first wave. Took me a bit to figure out what was going on. I like it though. The power extensions of the towers is a nice touch.
Quick note for graphics. On a 4k screen with forced full screen it makes everything look super blurry. Doesn't effect my rating though since this is likely an edge case with my hardware.

I liked the art style, especially on the menus. The game itself was a little tough to understand, the waves came pretty quickly, and I couldn't figure out how to upgrade my towers (it just kept saying "Up" even though I had enough money?)
I think with those couple of bugs fixed, it would be pretty fun. Nice work!

Super cool idea. The game is really tough to get into I struggled to start and took me a good while to get use to it. The idea is there and the dev could go so much more and be made into much more and cant wait to see that. I did love the visuals overall a great game

Screenshot 2024-10-09 104518.jpg The game didn't work for me! I couldn't buy any units and I just kept dying to the first wave over and over again. Was playing v2.0 downloaded from Itch! A shame because it looked like a really fun game, graphics were neat - wish I could rate it!

Nice one ! It is pretty fun, though I wish we could see what each allies does because it is not very clear. Also I wish the pause button would actually pause so that I could spend my money on defenses ^^

My game broke after the first wave (a lot of mobs attacked me at once and I didn't have time to do anything), restarting the game just stopped, no one attacks, you can build buildings, I poked around and that's it)

I suck at the game, can't seem to go past wave 1 :laughing:
The overall art style and vibe implies something pretty different than the difficulty and speed of the game :D crazy whiplash. All that said the little sound effects and the art style are great!

Charming tower defense with cute art and sound design! The mix-and-match mechanics of placing creatures on towers to upgrade them is a fun twist, though the first wave comes too fast, making it difficult to start smoothly. The UI is clean, and the tutorial helps, but some aspects, like the upgrade system and creature abilities, could be clearer. I also encountered some bugs, but the dev team is actively fixing them, which is great. Overall, a solid and enjoyable game with lots of potential!
Beautiful menu graphics! Gameplay felt a bit buggy, and also it progresses quite quickly so it would maybe be good to let the player decide when to trigger each wave, but overall solid design
