Cute little game. Liked the art and game play was quite fun! Good game!
Wicked good job!! MULTIPLE drawings for both characters (and really well drawn ones to boot), rhythm-game, splash screen, great UI, playable on phone and not least the catchiest beat of the century. The lose\splash-screen crunks me up.
I love the interpretation of the concept! A rhythm game is always a good time. It was hard to tell exactly if the music and the clouds lined up with each other or if it was coincidence because sometimes they seemed to and sometimes maybe not. Lots of fun, great entry!
@triangle-point @fnkee @cat-lab - Thanks guys! @cat-lab - The clouds are actually completely random. I made a sequence system so that I could make them go with the beat, but I ended up just barely making the song before deadline, so unfortunately it was a coincidence :P
Neat little rhythm game. Wished the clouds would line better up with the music.
@snesgaard Thanks for the feedback! That's the one thing I've fixed a little so far in the post jam version, although it still has randomness to it which doesn't hit as hard as more scripted rhythm games of course.
Cool game I would even say that the gameplay is just like in real life
I really like the idea of the game and the simplicity of it. But I would like to have a longer audio-loop, since you hear the loop itself. But you already mentioned, that the song was implemented "last second", so its super understandable!
Great game!
Loved the art style a lot, and the music is nice as well. The gameplay can be a bit unfair, especially when using the mouse, as sometimes the bubbles arrive in //. And it took me a couple of tries to understand when to click exactly. But overall, lovely entry. GG.
Great game, I think you should start in the middle, but I love the visuals!
@hakro Thanks! Yeah good point, mouse controls were more of an afterthought, but input specific difficulty settings could be a good way to mitigate the frustration by never having multiple simultaneous dreams when using the mouse
Pretty darn cute, and mobile friendly, too. Love that!
Nice game ^-^ I played it on mobile and i really enjoyed it ^^
Nice little game. The duvet pull events really add to the difficulty. I enjoyed the rhythm-like gameplay. Nice work!
Sweet game, love jams that are rhythm games! Got a good night sleep on my first try, I've played guitar hero before :sunglasses: Cute characters and visuals, nice music.
The big thing for me though is that I REALLY wish the clouds/notes would line up to the beat of the song! Would improve the feel of the gameplay by miles, I'm sure you would agree.
Sounds like you've made a ton of improvements after the jam which is awesome! Good luck on your continued dev, would want to try it again if you ever release it on mobile.
God I miss her
really great implementation of the theme! Even though the dream bubbles are all horizontal, I wonder if arrows/WASD might make a more natural PC control scheme (although it seems like this is better geared for mobile anyway).
Cool jam game! Love the theme usage and the topic - hits home for me pretty hard haha. I thought it was rhythm based for a second, but I actually enjoyed that it wasn't after all. Clever to force the player to pop the dreams in the right places. It definitely gets tough when you get 2 or 3 coming into the slots at the same time - probably would be even harder on mobile, but using the keyboard seemed to be the best method for that situation. Audio is well-balanced and the art is great. Good job!
