I enjoyed the game play on how you can only stage your attacks and then watch it play out. Made for a very relaxing experience. Great submission!

Very interesting gameplay idea, and the realization is awesome too. At first it's a bit confusing how to create a team, but after a few tries everything becomes clear. The visuals and music are very well chosen. I would love to see further development of this idea. Great job!

Nice game! Neat concept and good theming, an interesting take on auto battling. Nice job!

I liked the menu and the changes in music for battle while watching the characters fight.

I assumed I could get more than four characters due to the UI spacing. I never got to the win state, but was really unsure of the overall goal was, other than to continue fighting for a different combo. I thought right clicking on lower health units would unsummon them, but it seems to only sacrifice the unit to the far right (played the web version).

Very impressive for a solo developed jam. Well done. :)

I like how you present the game mechanics overlayed. The game plays well, but I felt as if the stats could use better explaining. The graphics were simple but cohesive. Overall a good entry.

@trevor-lentz Thank you for the feedback! The number of characters is capped at four. The game have no win state, the ultimate goal is to survive as long as you can. Right clicking a character should unsummon them, but if there is a empty slot other minions will be shifted to left to fill it up. Maybe you managed to find a bug.

I like how you clearly showed the controls. I feel like the game would be better if it had some sort of goal. The combat wasn't all that satisfying and I feel like the game is more weighted in putting importance on specific aspects of the combat (e.g., picking a weak enemy). Also I think you should have some sort of confirmation before moving players on to the battle. I accidentally clicked the ready button a few times and went into battle with an unprepared team. I feel like the graphics could have used more variety. For example, you could color everything based on its highest trait rather than have all minions and enemies look the same.

If you are going to do Ludum Dare on your own, you could consider competing in the compo. It would only give you 48 hours rather than 72 but I feel like the competing alone is the hardest part of the compo so if your already doing that you could try the compo. Otherwise, I think it would be best to find some people to help with aspects of game development you aren't great at.

I like the music and it seems interesting but every time I try to play it it goes full screen and doesn't show the entire game on the screen. Good job!

I made it to 11th round. However it somehow still feels that your only way is to bet on disposing of injured fighters as well as betting on numbers instead of strength. Which I kind of get. (I loved this video about lanchester square law: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J3RBcRyfFec) Instead I would like to see more tactics, like maybe giving player a chance to upgrade some, heal some already summoned soldiers (Maybe soldiers with healing capability could heal some health after each battle, thus making it more investable stat). I was not able to create effective army, since I always had to dispose of all the better soldiers.

Pretty quick and fun game ! Would have loved some numerical value so i could know what +2 sword is compare to +1 heart and +1 feet

I liked the atmosphere and your summoning idea. Having a specific goal would have been great - mb rescue soe. The game art was fun to see, mb create a few more differently looking bosses.

Love the sound track ;p The game is fun and good to play.

I really like your game. After i understood the risk/reward system it was pretty nice. I would have liked more abilities to choose from, but I can understand that we all had time restrictions! Overall a neat game with a good idea!

I'll admit it took me a pretty long time to figure out how to play properly. I kept trying to use all the initial ingredients at the same time and didn't understand why I couldn't beat anything :face_palm: But once I got past that, I found it fun and addictive! You have some really solid mechanics here.

I'm with @tetrapteryx 😅 I think it was kinda hard for me to get how to play the game but after that initial stage, it got more interesting and fun!
