Very good job on audio and pixel art ! I love humor too but... I don't have the feeling of playing, more the impression of looking and seeing what it does.

The pixel art of this game is great! I like a narrative game in the Ludum Dare, congrats!

cantin 2017-12-06 10:58

really love the art style and gameplay!

Wow this is amazing. So different from what I've played from LD40 so far. I enjoyed it! I do agree that it felt a lot like watching a show and less like a game but still had fun!

aemiliu5 2017-12-06 11:13

Loved all of it! The general idea, the graphics, voice acting, humor were all really good!

Only had one issue: there was a bug where the sprites would rapidly flicker every so often, no idea why but fortunately it didn't ruin the experience :)

I went for a wake-up call all the way! It was really entertaining, The graphics were really nice too. aside from that, I thought that the default music was kinda loud(wasn't an issue though, since you gave the option to change the volume) I really enjoyed it overall, I got kinda inspired by this. (how is the score calculated by the way? I got a 4/6)

Hey man, this is a great idea for a jam game. I liked the visuals - the zoom in and out of terrys faces are really cool. The voiceovers were pretty fun too, however the pacing may be a little off, if you'd consider it outside of the scope of a gamejam.

The gameplay felt random and I didn't feel like I got cues on how to react best to score high.

Also the humor wasn't really my cup of tea - however if you rate some more games to get people to your page, you'll probably will have guys here who genuinely enjoy the jokes you went with. :)

Your score: BAD. 2/6

Why must you hurt me this way...

Really though, great game and interesting concept! I played your game from last year and really enjoyed it so I'm glad you made another! I'd prefer it to be a small bit longer, but there's only so much you can do with the time you have. Great job!

Wow! this was loads of fun! Excellent work! the voice acting and writing was awesome! thanks for making this!

XD you are geniuses ! That was really fun thank you ! Real nice technique, sound and graphics are really cool ! I figure you had to work hard from the start with all those stories happening... Did you do the recording at the very end of the jam ? see you guys !

Liked the idea of using a Show as a game setup. As already mentioned, it was more a movie than a game. I actually would've preferred that you actually didnt mentioned the theme of Ludum Dare at all in the game, just felt a little forced. The stories themselves would have given the theme quite enough, I think. But the graphics and the audio were awesome!

stepan-shabalin 2017-12-11 14:28

Cool game! Nice pixel art and voices!

lereveur 2017-12-11 23:47

The saving part do not work well, but except of that, it was fun to play. I tried to get the 6 good answers, but I only managed to have 4. Well done, and I'm going back right now, trying to get the 6.

Another well written game from you! Really funny even though I'm terrible at it.

ponchoguy 2017-12-17 22:48

Hey! This gave me great laughs on stream

You really did capture the image of the Jeremy Kyle and Jerry Springer, everything from the sad piano scores, the studio laugh tracks to his awkward whiney voice going "wakeee up keyleeee!"

Her voice had me in stitches as well, that brummie accent was so spot on - yuck :yum:

Something I feel was lacking was confrontation - dna tests, bouncers stopping fights and backstage trash talking - that would have been the icing on the cake for me, I think the two encounters were just too similar although don't get me wrong still very entertaining!

A feature I would add would be a hover-over mechanic for the guests so I know I can interact with them - It would be a great stepping stone into making the game into a more intuitive and interactive experience - just a thought :yum:

Regardless, you guys pulled off a very interesting title - It was a pleasure to experience Terry Pebble of the Terry Pebble Show!

I remember seeing one of your games before, I LOVE terry pebble X) it's just so different and so refreshing to the other games we see in the jam. The game is hilarious and cinematographic style is perfect, one of my favorite really. Sure this could offer a bit more gameplay wise, but still, I'd totally be ready to pay for a full version of this. Awesome work, keep doing what you're doing :3

ardorugus 2017-12-25 07:33

Okay, this interactive show is good. Reminds a bit of the Mighty Boosh mixed with those TV talk shows with different hosts. Nice voice acting and wit dialogues. And those naughty pixel eyes moving...

axoona 2017-12-25 20:27

great entry (as always). Your style is now recognizible :) I like the general game idea, it's simple and it works!

The humor is ok but for me "How to cope with boredom and loneliness" was much more to my preference.
