Loved this. Big Tetris fan and I'm already thinking of how strategy varies. Whether you hold on to bricks for a bit, it makes you slow down a bit when playing. Really great and can see myself coming back for more

Good take on tetris! I'm a bit of a tetris nerd so having any sort of shakeup to the formula tickles my brain-- i love the ways in which this messes with my tetris instincts. Piece saving and drop guides were missed, but I'm assuming this is more of a take on classic tetris. Good music, good graphics, good stuff.

this is extaordinary. I appreciate the twist of having a scanline check for completed rows on a timer instead of having them be wiped immediately. But much more than that, I'm super pleased by how good the physics engine on this feels - I notice that you included wall kicking and a bit of a delay before pieces lock into place so you can slide them around when they hit the floor. Subtle details like that are *essential* to making a tetris game feel good, and I'm so glad to see you found time to make them work correctly

Amazing ~~Tetris variant~~ block stacker game!

Nothing to complain about, except my Tetris skills: I'm absolutely terrible without a drop ghost :ghost:

Really liked the idea of multiple difficulty levels with score multipliers, reminds me of some old indie games I used to play as a child...

My best score? I only got to ~4900 points in Lusty mode :sob:

Hey always fun to play some tetris, and it's a fun twist!

- I like it, definitely as addictive as the original. - Could use a bit more player bias. Not having lines to clear is already a penalty, so having another one just cascades the stress - move visual/audio feedback of the penalty would also be helpful. Trying to play games to test intuitive design without reading all the instructions, the penalties seem more like glitches. It should be clear that what's happening is intentional, and it should be clear WHY it's happening. - I guess you need to refresh to restart?

It was a really nice variation on tetris, and i really did like the music. Even though i struggled on the lusty mode, i hate a good time playing your game! (I am not very good at playing tetris). Nice job!

Interesting take on Tetris! The scanline really alters your strategy more profoundly than I thought it would. Thanks for sharing the details on the production, always appreciate people using a custom engine (I swear I'm going to return to it one day for LD :D), maybe only comment on that would be to get rid of the default Emscripten frame and doing something a bit more minimal. Also loved having multiple music tracks to choose from (wonder what those HW synths were!), they're all good jams (FEAR maybe being my top pick).

Oh yea also on a meta-LD tip, I see that you're pretty low on ratings even having rated over 20 games, the new (well, years old) "Smart Balance" score has a large weight on comments, so if you want to receive scores in the end I recommend leaving a couple more comments to get to 20 reviews!

Love the take on tetris! Music is a banger haha. I thought it'd just be slightly different from normal tetris but as the others have mentioned, it really does change up the strategy a lot! I think it's pretty neat submission and I like that you even added the scoring system too. Very clean and polished game.

Subtly different from Tetris but definitely different enough to be interesting. Really solid implementation of Tetris as a baseline too! Good job! The one thing I wish I had is ghost pieces to show where your hard drop will go.

My high score is 9448 with 29 lines on level 3, Trusty mode.

Very cool game, definitely made me rethink my normal Tetris strategies! I liked the polish, and it was a great use of theme as well. I wish that the piece set slightly faster after a soft drop, and I wish there was hold piece functionality, but those are just nitpicks.

It always feels good to play Tetris and even better when it includes an interesting twist. Kudos for doing this in C++ with html5 export. Good job.

This game taught me that I'm awful at tetris. Besides that it was very fun, the concept was great and very punishing (for me) and the music is just a classic. Well done!!!

I got 2 garbage lines because I read a little bit of the instructions not all :D It's a good idea and very intuitive when you see the scan line and notice that lines don't wipe when you connect them the first time. Good wordplay on the name. For some reason it's impossible to change the mode for me so I could only play the Trusty mode. Ardour also looks good, so thanks for the info <3

I do like this nice remix, so I decided to give my feedback on each mode.

- Rusty : Pretty annoying in some cases, but not as bad as Lusty. - Trusty : Not really a bad one, it's kind of like the original Tetris. - Lusty : The worst of the three. 100% based on RNG.
