LD55 — Summoning

Summoner Story by Nicso 2024-04-17T18:13:52Z

Good job, I love the audio and the overall atmosphere! I would suggest allowing the player to undo all current drawing steps if the player already realizes that the first steps have gone wrong. Because right now you need to complete the current drawing in order to start again. Good luck!

Nice TBS, my friend! I would suggest to think about making player to analyze the landscape more. For example, you can add chains of obstacles on the map that player will have to get around. Also, you can add more complex summoning conditions. For example, you can create a much more stronger golem, if you stand not on one mountain tile, but on a mountain which is surrounded with some number of additional mountains on sides. Or if you stand on a tile which is surrounded from one side with water and on another side with lava - you get a very strong obsidian golem . Good luck on this project!

Stay Away From The Summoner by manicthenobody 2024-04-15T17:43:22Z

The slider bar was just moving away from the slider for some random reason .

The Sumo-ning by poisondart00 2024-04-15T17:32:28Z

Nice fun game bro! Very fair, never won . I would suggest adding some little obstacles or elevations to make the main game loop more diverse. Good luck!

Hyper Hydra by Goofte 2024-04-16T19:45:32Z

This is very cool! The quality of the game is very, very high! But I think for people who played Inscryption there has to be something else to surprise in game design. You introduced some new card mechanics, which Inscryption doesnt have, but it still looks as a very similar game. If you think in the direction of making this game more different from Inscryption (in gameplay or controls), I think this game will become a very successful project! Anyways, this is a very good job, good luck to you guys with this project!

The sound of the car is crazy man . I almost became deaf.

Court Summons by dishwand 2024-04-21T21:38:23Z

Nice high quality game, really enjoyed it!

I'm interested how the direction of AI movement is chosen for each NPC. If the direction is random, I would suggest to try to manually design routes of NPCs in open spaces, closing all movement into a cycle (for example), so you could make more complex situations that the player has to detect. Because right now NPCs collide with each other and stare at walls randomly. An NPC staring at wall is a part of puzzle, of course, but it seems to me that you should try to take control of the puzzle to be able to create more complex and interesting levels.

Anyways, congrats and good luck on this project!

The Ballet by Sevansevan 2024-04-16T20:55:08Z

Very nice puzzle concept. I would suggest to also somehow complicate the layout of location from level to level.

mouche(s)? by PieRo_PBeS_studio 2024-04-16T14:17:58Z

Thats a nice fun polished game! The only thing that bothered me - the animation of flies was making an impression that the movement direction was constantly changing. Good luck on this project!

@piero-pbes-studio yeah, I think in this particular case it is important to feel that your analysis of the image on the screen as a player affects the outcome

Infernal Refreshments by MissingPixel 2024-04-15T16:44:47Z

A very good game and good graphics. I would suggest, as an improvement, to show the parameters of objects near the object itself, so that the player does not have to constantly run his eyes left and right. Also, you may figure out how to beautifully and conveniently display these parameters on each item always, without hovering. You can also add an explosion effect when you click on an object. Good luck!

Doe The Dragon by vrdiy 2024-04-15T17:57:51Z

The concept is innovating, but the controls are so hard man ! Using LBM/RBM and keyboard here might be not a very good idea. I would consider Q and E for walls, for example.
