Good music loop and all element combined together well. Nice work as a compo title! I look forward to more challenging gameplay. Snipaste_2024-04-15_14-30-12.png

Nice one! The music is good, a bit weird car steering, it could be a person running with the same movements. Would love some effect on zombie hit, since they are so dark and barely noticeable. Good luck with submission!
Collected all the stones! Nice little game. :) I managed to get pushed inside a house at point and could clip through the buildings - I guess this was just a tiny bug there.
Thank you for trying the game. @manabreak Did you manage to roam the world like a god tier hacker or did you hit the other colliders?
@pe7e Just drove around inside that one building. Whenever I clipped back, I got damaged.
Nice car! Really liked the appearance of it. Vibed through the level with this music.
Nice work, had fun cruisin' around looking for crystals. Some feedback when hitting the zombies would have been great as others have mentioned.
@freakyzelga and @wilsk. Thanks for playing the game. You are both right, a small pushback and a more distinct sound would probably make the most difference.
i think maybe if you use the forward+ render the lights wont turn on and off. unless you coded the lights to turn on and off?
@jcmonkey Thanks for trying the game. Yea, I'm not that experienced with the performance differences of different modes of rendering. That is why I tried to place the lights so that there would only be 1 or 2 visible, well under the limit of 4. Do you know how the renderer choses which lights to turn? Or do you have any experience with the other rendering modes and webgl?
Fun driving game ! This one is very polish ! It lacks on effects when you crash a stone or a zombie. But that's a good work ! racingitre.jpg
The idea is okay. The music and visual is pretty good for a combo game. I expected a bit more action. Overall an okay little combo game.
Hi! nice game, driving feels nice (need more speed!) wanted to crush zombies but maybe my car would broke so it made sense. Thanks
The sound of the car is crazy man . I almost became deaf.
@asatrain Sorry, i think i set the volume to something like 0.375 in unity but it still comes out loud. I hope you found the mute button.
Great game submission! Really liked the art style of this game. The gameplay was very simple to understand while still giving an overall fun experience. The music had a good beat to it.
One area I would like to see improved on if you continue to develop the project is that it can be difficult to see what is ahead of you when going down much more than the other directions. having the camera adjust its position based on the velocity of the car or keys being pressed might be a way to implement this change.
Overall amazing work!
I kind of wanted to kill the zombies instead of getting the stones, and so I died 😅 It looks great, the control is different but I guess better for those that get confused by controlling cars top-down, since it controls more like a character than a car.
Mind blown, you single-handedly achieved so much – that's just unreal, my friend!
Nice job! Very impressive for a Compo entry.
My favorite part was how you could get a bit of hint that a crystal was ahead by the blue light.
Nice job! I died because I did not understand that touching the walls was hurting the car but it's logic x)
@drgcandle, @sirlich Thanks for trying the game and the kind words.
@0mbre Thanks you as well. And yea, I should have had more feedback, sound and visual when the car impacts.
Nice game and great graphics. I didn't really understand if there was someway to figure out where the crystals were or if I was just supposed to drive around, avoiding everything while trying to find them.
@cogcomp thanks for trying the game, it's just about cruising around town.
Nice work! Car steering feels kind of wierd and the acceleration/slowing down felt a bit off but graphics were pretty sick
I feel like the car could go a little faster or perhaps accelerate to a higher top speed. The steering was a bit awkward, but it was easy to control and responsive. I really liked how the city looked from a top-down view. I also liked the lighting and the music was rad, I've got it playing from the title screen as I write this lol. One of the main things I think would improve the game is more action. Perhaps more health but also more direct threats. Increasing the speed of the car might also help by making zombies and buildings harder to avoid.
The controls for the car felt wrong as it felt more like a character than a car. Also when driving down the camera did not give much room to see what is coming up.
I don't know if it was my computer or what but audio was crackling quite badly.
But besides those really nice entry with nice graphics.
@ben-albert, @rcxa and @denvil. Thanks for playing the game and sharing your feedback. I agree that I could have done much more with car physics to make the game more interesting.
I will also have to look into how sound behaves in web builds. Seems to vary a lot.
I was kinda expecting tank controls. Also the crystal pickup sound is loud AF in the browser version! More speed and the ability to run over zombies would make this a lot of fun, I think.
Nice 3D graphics, amazing for a compo to be honest. Some things that I would love to see more speed, better camera placement depending on the direction the car is facing, a different control scheme (tank controls for driving), more feedback when crashing with zombies (I thought it was the point of the game! haha), make more clear that alleways aren't traversable (they make you lose life as well!). Nice work, keep it up!
@le-slo Thanks for playing the game and I appreciate the feedback. I probably spent to much time modelling and not enough time on the gameplay :)
Nice game :) I liked the graphics especially the crystals. I see it was already said, but with the car placed in below half of the screen it made going down more risky. Not a breaking issue though, I just had to be more careful ^^. Well done for the COMPO !
Nice work on a solo 3D game! The car controls work very differently from what one expects. Usually you have a key that makes your car go towards the direction its headed and you steer with the direction keys. Here it goes north when you press W, east when you press D and so on. It's quite unintuitive. Also I wanted to drive over the zombies. But they make me lose health! That's also kind of not what I expected from a car game. The graphics are well done and I really appreciate that you made some music and sounds. A lot of entries don't have any music or even sfx!
