A fun game, especially at the last level where there are a lot of people. I enjoyed it
Cool game. I liked how you have to figure it our piece by piece, it makes it a lot more fun then just having the full picture of the person you are looking for. It was the perfect game length and good difficult scaling. I also really liked the music and voice lines.
This is a cool mechanic! I liked it. I had a similar idea for the theme, I was going to call mine "Parkourier" and you'd have to chase people around objects in order to serve them, and then your character would yell "YOUVE BEEN SERVED" lol. Anyways, I like the "paperdoll" of identity that adds identifying features, and the nature of the mechanic of trying to figure out who the target is. It's a great concept if you decide to flesh it out into something more. The music is very "court tv"-ish so that's great, and the controls are tight and easy. Thumbs up!
the music was perfect
The game was entertaining and I really enjoyed it.
I think the theme is just an excuse in the game, but the gameplay dynamics were great.
Perhaps simply having a list of characters to whom you must deliver a package, and assigning each package a different color, would reinforce the theme.
Other than that, everything was fantastic. The graphics were good, the music was spot-on, and the sound effects were great too. Overall, the game was very well-polished.
Well done!
This was a lot of fun. The characters and their variations are nice and distinct. Made it easy to know what I was looking for. Really liked the character chirps as you serve people.
This must be what life is like with prosopagnosia XD Super simple but devious. Nice work! Also nice music and audio feedback!
Super funny concept ! Had some trouble with the camera but it's an interesting guessing game, though I suppose you have to fail at least once per person ?
A fun concept indeed, in a very nice package! The audio clues are really cool, but ultimately with them being less useful than the visual hints revealed in the bottom right (ie. you only hear "wrong pants", but the visuals tell you what pants to look for exactly), you eventually learn not to listen to them too much. I thought that was a missed opportunity, and it would have been also fun if you had to piece it together just based on the audio clues. (Maybe the visual indicator could be delayed to only reveal the correct color once you've ruled out all other options? Anyway.)
I liked the minimalistic yet polished graphics, and the web build ran very smoothly too. All in all a great submission.
good concept!
This is a cool game! Legit a ton of fun. To be super honest the first time I played it I didn't even see the visual clues and was like THIS IS WAY TOO HARD. lol. Then I read the other comments, went back and played it again, and it was WAY better. Genuinely a super fun game, really polished and the music was very appropriate. I'd totally play more of this with perhaps a different theme and with more outfits/etc. Probably my favorite game I've played so far this LD.
The graphics in this game have a charming simplicity to them. The clean lines and minimalist design create a visually pleasing and easy-to-understand experience
The idea is pretty original. A game where you have to guess who to "deliver" in a limit of time is something that I haven't seen executed (not in that way at least), and I'm giving kudos to that. And pretty clear about it's gameplay too. However, there was some things that I've noticed in the game:
IMPORTANT ERRORS:
>There were times where I was close to an NPC and it didn't highlited there. Maybe the raycast wasn't functioning properly?
>When I tried to get to the high-score, I returned to the level with the current time limit. Maybe you had an intention to implement it, but it would have been appreciated if you disabled the button if you couldn't publish with it.
MINOR DETAILS (nitpicks?):
>I kind of missed some animation states here. More specifically, when the target receives the document. The joke in the description made me thing that there would be a more "bloody" delivery, ngl.
>I thought the music was good too, but a bit nerve-wracking if repeated too much with the constant voice telling the wrong part and all (could be influenced by the fact that there is a time limit thou. I'm not fond of those).
>Missed a camera rotation to look around. Would have made the ordeal a bit more easier to manage.
>Maybe, just maayyybe it would have better to show at least one clue at the beginning to have something more concrete to look for. It hasn't been a major problem since the time limit it's quite fair considering the penalties, but having to lose 5 seconds all of the sudden just to get a tiny einsy clue that is repeated to all the level... ouch. Or better yet; don't give a penalty at the first time. Maybe increase the penalty by any clue you gain to the person and reset for the new one? There is a lot of ways to take in... yet again, this wasn't a big issue. I'm just giving food for thought at this point.
Overall, this game has a good idea behind it. Most of it was pointed there are things that should have been done with more time, and I understand if they weren't implemented. So good job there!
That was hilarious.I wish the music loop were a smidge longer. My favorite was definitely the last level with the large plaza.
Very nice idea! Was enjoying to play all the levels. Good game loop that works nicely as you gain more tips how to find the correct person.
Would love to see more levels in the future and maybe some random events that the person might start to run to get away. And in later levels there could be like small shopping center where there is two or even more levels; enables multiple ways to advance fast to lower levels e.g with jumping.
Fun game! I really felt the time pressure here, although I didn't end up losing. As such, I guess the difficulty level was tuned pretty well.
I thought the audio cues were a great addition, even if the game can't be played completely on audio clues.
As a nitpick, it seemed like the dark blue shirts looked slightly different on the actual characters as compared to the clue of who to look for... in particular, on the actual characters I think the shirts almost looked black? This was a little confusing in the city level, where it seemed like there could well be too people with subtly different shirts.
Overall, though, this was funny, very well-polished, and with extremely solid gameplay. Great job!
Great! Very original and I loved the voice acting :)
