Nice! Good work!
Nice graphics but game gets pretty hard quickly
Love the graphics and had fun playing it.
Cool idea but work on the art
I must say I specially like the controls as it gave the game a retro feel. The idea for taking screenshots seem brilliant (although I could not get it to work since I tried pressing Fn+F8. Awesome gameplay, it looked pretty polished since I could point to any direction. Good game.
I would like to try it, but for some reason my browser won't let me download it and says "virus detected" any idea why and how to fix?
It was fun but it was hard and also the controlls are hard anyway good game play mine here: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/49/vase-of-the-spades
Nice game Control are hard to grasp, but style is perfect. P.S. I got "virus warning" too
Great game! Directing which way you're shooting seemed a bit unintuitive at first, but at least that makes it true to the theme :)
Had a lot fun while playing .. but was a little difficult
I love the idea of a bullet hell where your attack patterns constantly change, and it's very well executed too. It was pretty hard but I don't see that as a bad thing necessarily.
Nice art! Controls were a little tricky for me and it got difficult pretty quickly! Had fun playing though!
I liked the monsters and their movement patterns! The game was pretty fun and I def panicked when I had the wrong shooting pattern given what was on the screen. Got wrecked when two squids showed up lol ___ I wish the controls were a bit more responsive, feels weird to not be able to move and shoot. Also getting the wrong shooting pattern sometimes meant certain death considering you don't move faster than some of the chasing monsters. ___ great work!
Did you use a beat-em-up engine to make a shoot-em-up game? :) (I just googled for "Open Beats of Rage").
Nice execution, I liked the variety of attacks but I think some enemies were impossible to defeat (like someone said above, some of them move faster than us).
Thanks for playing guys! :id: @wendel-scardua : Yep, I used beat'm up engine to create shmup :id:
Trust me, the large enemies can be defeated. You need to position yourself safely while shooting them ;)
I liked all the different kind of shots! I would like to move while shooting, maybe that can be dependent on the weapon you are using? I tried using the shield, but it was a bit slow so it was hard to time. Keep up the good work!
@aeveis : you can move while shooting. Just move while shooting.
Nice aesthetic, cool game!
Nice work!
@bloodbane When I am moving and press shoot, I will stop moving. If I am already shooting (with button held down), I am not able to move. I can shoot, then move, or move, then shoot, but not at the same time.
Good game, but the controls feel unintuitive, especially with a control scheme that isn't listed in-game anywhere (with a mysterious "jump" key listed in the controls). A better explanation on how the bullet patterns change and what each bullet does would be nice, as well.
@bloodbane Great work! Let me congratulate you on your new great creation. "Eerie Erractic Expedition", this spinoff of "Blue Bullet Bintang" is really badass. I love the more elaborate design of the enemies and especially the AI of the attacks, some can really be a pain in the ass  hahaha.
This is quite solid entry for this type of genre
Had hard times with octopus-like thing and old-orc-lady-head-like thing but after a couple of tries managed to beat them) Good job, perhaps a little too challenging
Oh gods control is amazing. Good job!
the constant chaning projectiles had me on my toes the whole time, loved it
Game was a little difficult but it's great because I felt like my mistakes were my own. Cool entry!
Nice job, I think the variable shooting patterns is an interesting concept. The movement felt a little strange at times, and I couldnt really discern if it was part of the unstable theme or if I was doing something wrong.
I think using higher contrast colors for the background and foreground elements would help a lot. There were some cases where I had trouble distinguishing the projectiles from the background.
Really difficult game, some of the enemy patters are tricky but that's not a bad thing, it's a great thing! I enjoy trying to master little games like this and overall I had some great fun playing it. Great little time waster overall. The graphics were simple but overall worked, (sometimes I did have issues of it feeling it blending together but nothing major.) Overall really solid entry!
I thought it was pretty rad that the shooting patterns kept changing. It meant that I had to keep adjusting the way I was playing. It feels like a big game built from this could be awesome.
Had you considered making the shifts in firing occur upon collecting something? Like Super Crate Box when your gun changes upon picking up a crate. Randomness is great, but it's nice when it feels triggered by the player.
The music was also really cool and the sound effects were retro in a good way.
