I like the bounciness, a bit hard to make it accurate, I feel it needs a bit more weight while in the water but other than that I love the atmosphere and the simplicity of it!
This would make an excellent rage game. The visuals are very cohesive, I like the palette you used. The sound effects are nice but it's really missing music. Still, I'd say a tutorial would be nice. I can't tell if the game is ridiculously hard or I just suck.
@oxnh im not sure if its bugged but there should be music?
@slimetrash mb it was really quiet by defualt. It's good, you should make it more obvious it's there.
OOGH this game gets pretty hard. I like it! One of those kinds of games where I feel like people can take this game, put in under a microscope, and study the movement for weeks for how to best optimize each level. Good stuff!
I love the little guy that you control. The art style, sounds and music are very stylistically consistent, I like the moody atmosphere they create. The physics and controls are on a harder side to my liking, but they make sense and the game doesn't strike me as unfair. Levels are unique and interesting, I liked how they slowly introduce you to new obstacles and approaches. I also really appreciate that all levels are available from the title screen, because I was stuck on level 3 for the longest time 💀. Overall I really enjoyed this game, well done!
It's hard to hold the character under the water, and the character's movement is quite wild. I Like it! But when I'm on land, I still hope to receive some feedback to help me get back on game.
this is great! I really enjoy difficult platformers like this, and this core mechanic feels super fun and expressive. I really enjoy the mental process at play required by using the 4 button direction keys instead of an analog control for a game like this. The visuals and music are very nice, I only wish there were more levels! Great stuff
Looks adorable (art is perfect + animations are smooth and look great), love the physics and the original take on the platformer / puzzle game genre, well done !
i love that you can control character right in the main menu. Tutorial simple and effective. Very solid game.
Interesting idea, I like the physics-based movement and the challenge added by the buoyancy. The graphics is cute.
I gotta say, this is NOT a calming game . It's tricky and the level design can feel punishing sometimes especially when you fail 1 step away from the finish line and have to restart.
I managed to get better at controlling the character but got stuck at the level shown in the image at the top of the page. Overall I think the game is innovative and tries something different but at the same time it's a bit punishing
Interesting concept and decent graphics! Liked the idea to indicate momentum with the "tail". Great entry!
This gave me Getting Over It nightmare flashbacks, but I made it to the end, pheeeeeeew :-)

@0x-void-x0 That's were all the fun resides  (I believe for these kind of games, there has to be some kind of frustation... )
Very nice implementation, the sound atmosphere ( music + sfx ) is very well balanced, and soothing. The graphics are minimal, but clean (Nice job on the tile borders, BTW. Are you using LDTK? ) The physics are very solid, I encountered no glitch.
The only gripe I have is about the bouncing against some surfaces. Bouncing against walls is obviously part of the gameplay, but maybe some non-bouncy surfaces (especially in the bottom of some ponds) would ease the first levels?
Something that would greatly augment the level design potential : slopes
Really nice game.
A crazily interesting concept! Indeed rage quiting inducive XD I myself wanted to rage quit many many times XD. The graphics are nice and I really liked the controls, yet I wished a lot for more save points in the more complex levels. Felt like me as a bouncing version of something like Jump King. Quite juicy in the controls and the small sound effects are quite nice! Good job, overal quite a solid entry! Thank you for the game!
I liked the retro single color style and how all the mechanics were gradual introduced like swimming, then going down to jump, different gravity/water-blocks, going down to jump through multiple blocks. Very infuriating only manged to get through 5 levels.
Also ran into a bug (I think at 3 or 4) where the border between the next level portal (not sure if that's the right word?) and the rest of the water was a flashing black line. Probably not relevant, but I'm using standard chrome on windows.
Beautiful graphics - adored the start screen, which I don't think I've ever said before. Lovely animations and bounciness and love that when you restart a level you just dart back to the starting point. Generally really nice gamefeel. Gameplay itself was infuriating though and I couldn't get past the third level.
A very original concept. A bit difficult to control, but I imagine that's the goal.
If this is a project you're going to take forward, you need to review your level design to better understand the gameplay. Stages that are too difficult to complete can generate a lot of frustration very early on and discourage the player from continuing.
I liked it.
Congratulations!
