There were some great jokes in here! I especially appreciated Sir Circle. I only wish the font were more readable. Also, it would be nice if after speaking to someone, you can immediately speak to them again to get their next dialogue line. I was standing in place spamming enter waiting for the option to come back, but there was no indication of when I could talk to them, so I got impatient pretty easily and didn't do all the dialogue for all the characters, which is something I usually do.
I nearly quit after finding only 4 of the 5 tokens. Turns out the fifth one was in the main map all along. I really need to commend you on the color coding in the main map. It was a great way to make it clear that there were four different areas to explore (other than the main map), setting up the expectation that you could find one flesh token in each part. So finding the token eventually was satisfying and you always knew where to go next. (The red one was hard to see on a red background.)
But speaking of satisfaction...I suppose the title of the game should have told me the twist that was coming. I'm not a fan of "it was all a dream endings." It just makes me feel duped. Like...why did I spend all that time thinking about a mystery that the writer themselves said was unimportant. Which was a shame, because until the ending, I really liked the writing and the humor and the weird square ideas. But the ending was a let down.
I'll just go back to groovin' with the worm.
@carraka Thank you for the feedback. I REALLY wish I was able to do a bigger ending. Alas, I managed my time poorly and the ending in the game now is the result. I'm glad you found the dialog humorous, especially since that my main focus was the writing. I was worried jokes wouldn't land correctly. Thanks a lot for playing!
Amazing world building.
My main gripe is that there's not much benefit or affect from interacting with the characters you find.
@orangutanrider I appreciate the feedback. At some point, I wanted to introduce quests and stuff to do with NPC's but I couldn't find the time to do it.
Everything went pretty smoothly, though the Circle-house didn't have collision on the walls!
Wonderfully weird, I absolutely loved playing this! The world seemed so cool to me. I want to explore it further, it really reminded me of Salad Fingers. The art was really nice too, it fit the theme and the game well. So did the music actually, I liked that a lot too. I'm a big fan of surrealism so I'd love to see this game taken further! Good work
@truewolves Oh damn, really? I might need to patch that in. Thanks for the reminder.
@connor-magson I want to make more out of this world as well. I have some ideas for an expanded version although I have no idea how far away that might be. I have a few other projects in the works but we'll see. Thank you for the feedback.

The atmosphere really gave me a Yume Nikki vibe. I liked how the trees and such were dancing around, the interesting NPCs, and what little bit of the plot was shown. Are there any plans to continue with this project?
This was an enjoyable experience! I liked seeing all of the weird places and characters, and making the map vaguely brain shaped was a nice touch. The characters were both friendly and intimidating at the same time, which gave a wonderful wonder land feel to it all.
The music was both relaxing and tense at places, felt like going through different odd regions. I would have liked if there was some puzzles that involved the characters more, but finding them and seeing what they had to say was still a good reward. That ending is a pretty big cliffhanger!
Very well done overall!

This worm is just grovin' No need to bother it.
10/10 hahaha
@nymnymn I want to return to this world at some point. I don't know how long it will be until that happens though.
Hey everyone! This is Logan, the composer for this game. I just wanted to chime in saying that I am shocked and happy to hear that some of you liked the music! It was done in literally a couple of hours. And this style of music isn't my preferred one either, not that I don't like it. But, I would be more than happy to make more music like this if the creator and I decide to continue this! It was a different kind of fun to make, my main influence being the Mother series. Just thought I should drop by and give my thanks! -Logan

Fantastic little world you've made here! I enjoyed going around and interacting with everyone.
very good game it perfectly matches the theme so good job :)
Interesting game. The subtitles were very hard to read though.
A lot of characters, Undertale vibes. I liked it very much, it is a shame that you don't actually need to interact with the characters to get the tokens. Congratulations anyway, there is a lot of content
Really dig the way you were able to pull off world building in a game jam setting! Overall, a solid game, with fun characters, an interesting world, and moody music/art. I, like others, missed the flesh coin in the center of the main area, it's pretty easy to walk right past it, since the main area is pretty big and nondescript. I noticed you used colored trails on the ground to guide the player in certain directions, perhaps this flesh token could use an environmental hint as well? Also your humor was mostly on point, with silly characters and fun situations, though I feel like your world was cheapened a bit by the invincible reference and some fourth wall breaking. Have more faith in your writing, the world you've created is interesting enough to get by on its own merit!
Overall, definitely one of the most interesting games I've played this jam, and I'm impressed by how much content you were able to pump out in such a short time!
@nick-shooter Damn, I didn't realize I referenced Invincible. Sorry about that. I was just going for a 'holier than thou' vibe with those characters. I'm thankful you enjoyed the game though. Thanks for playing and thanks for the feedback. I might be able to make a post-jam version with revised writing and more indication on where flesh tokens are.

Very good! the NPCs were very funny and the story seemed quite interesting, I only wish there was more.
Can i buy a fleshlight with my flesh tokens ?
@enderswype No, but you can liquefy flesh gates.

I like little that audio, maybe next time. Mood of the game is very good and it is fitting. Fun factor is not high at this game, but maybe next time you will think more about that and it will be better. I dont know, I dont much see what colerate with theme, sorry.
Good job with the game. The world was interesting to explore and I liked the various npcs I got to meet. The music was well done and did a good job at setting the tone. Also I was a particular fan of the groovin green area. It would be cool to see some of the areas more fleshed out. Also like some others, I found the text a bit difficult to read with how closely spaced some of the letters are.
Took me about 15 minutes to complete the game, which is a little longer than I might play a typical LD game but I found the writing was really strange and engaging. The map is huge but the combination of the run button and the colored paths helped wayfinding quite a bit. All of the NPCs are incredibly unhelpful, lol, so at some point I stopped talking to them, so that's definitely something to consider. The green area with the groovin trees is obvs the best. Fun stuff.

good job
very pretty graphics and mood - as others have said, I got huge yume nikki vibes from it. I didn't expect the world to be so vast!
Really nice game I really like the whole consept of it, dialogues are not boring to read as well, it kind of has some "DarkWood" feeling to it for some reason

The game is really cood. The map is a bit too big I think and interactions too spread out but this was probably only the result of the timeframe.

Fantastic mood and atmosphere between the art/writing/sound design. I loved every aspect of this! Also love that you used godot! What a great engine!
Well done!
Weirdcore/dreamcore vibes in this entry. I really can see this with a bit of Undertale vibes. I don't think the font and the UI is well polished to this type of game though, the visibility of the letters felt odd quite frequently. And i have one major problem with the level design, i was pulled to the idea of the color paths and then i discovered one token was in a room not well highlighted. Nice game and i see that the story have a great potential to further add mechanics and improvements, nice job.
