Here's my finished tree: Screen Shot 2022-10-02 at 11.32.00 PM.png

I liked the music, it definitely gives relaxing/chill vibes.

Very relaxing game. At the start it's a lot of waiting for the roots to grow, but later on when you have multiple roots you need the 10 seconds to manage all ends. Maybe speed up the start a little bit so you don't have to wait.

Very relaxing. I admit, I think it started a little slow when you only have one root end. But once I started managing 4+ root ends at once, it felt much more involving and interesting. Great game! Screenshot 2022-10-04 130544.png

Fun relaxing game! I agree with the others that the start is a bit slow, but after you get more to manage it's pretty fun to think forward about how to lay the roots! I enjoyed playing it!

Well done!

unknown.png Very unusual strategy! But I have a bug - if I press the spacebar - the timer automatically fills up to the maximum.

It's truly relaxing and promissing. I can imagine a game with an entire garden full of different plants and this type of root management! Goog job.

It started off pretty slow and I was thinking ah I'll just give it a minute or two and rate but before I knew it I had a whole tree and many tangled roots. Nice job with this entry! It was surprisingly addictive!Screenshot 2022-10-05 074254.png

Agreed with the other comments, the main issue I have is at the start when you only have one end and at the end when you've only got one/two left. There's not much to do when that's happening.

Other than that, not much to say. A nice relaxing time.

Lovely, relaxing game amidst other fast paced entries.

Well done.

It does what it says in the name, it's a relaxing game! I agree with the others, it starts a bit slow, but after a while it picks up. The music is really nice.

The game starts slow but gets chaotic very quickly lol, tried going for an optimal path so I can survive for long, but you can only survive for too long. the game is quite relaxing indeex, I like the woosh sounds in the music that appear from time to time, also I think with some more mechanics and a bit more polishing this game has a good potential! nice work

Great concept! Would love to have a score at the end based on the length of the roots and amount of branching. While the start is a bit slow, it gets quite challenging later on.

This is a fun idea. I like exploring it as a "toy," and it's interesting that folks turn it into a "game" by adding goals (make the biggest tree!). Ten seconds feels like a long time, and I wonder if more variation in the music would be a nice reward to the player who stays longer.

dusho 2022-10-10 18:31

wow... interesting idea.. at start it is slow, but with more roots it picks up.. really nice and relaxing game.. cool music

misfire-dev 2022-10-10 22:16

would make a really nice desktop/study pet if it was a bit slower and maybe deeper bet less wide, you could grow some huge root systems and big plants.

lsy 2022-10-11 20:08

How the root grows is very well displayed visually, and I do feel relaxed with the music and graphics. The beginning of the game may be a little slow as you only need to control one branch. Soon we have to manage 4-6 branches in a hurry. When I see a large and complex system forming and multiplying, I guess that may be what the developer wants! img.png

Neat mechanism, it hooked me early on despite what felt like a long wait between turns (10 sec) at first, though obviously much shorter later on. I would love to see this expanded with more features/goals.

inno 2022-10-11 20:35

Most innovative game yet. A bit difficult with mousepad, would like to control the roots with arrow keys and space.
