I really liked the game concept so I downloaded it to give it a shot, but it turned out I can't play with a random person online and I must to find someone to play, which is something I unfortunately couldn't do and I doubt most players will be able to do, maybe if we can join with a random person the chance of playing the game will increase but that's just a thought, as I said I really like the idea, we don't get games like these so often but sorry I couldn't really find someone to play with, no friends gang 4 ever

@0x-void-x0 hey I appreciate you gave it a shot and I totally understand not being able to find someone to play with. If you want you can join my discord there's some people in it who'd be down to play. Worst case the artist or I could play with you. https://discord.gg/aBMhAxyPEh

@justinsix thanks a lot for the offer, I appreciate it, though I'm a little busy in the short term I'll definitely join when I get the chance!

alibomablitv 2023-05-14 09:00

very good game

chuckiee 2023-05-14 09:25

Cool game with a nice twist. Very nice art & mood. Controls can be improved, I couldn't jump every time I pressed space.

alexrose 2023-05-14 21:49

The twist was cool and unexpected, and @skyeward and I had fun becoming one

alexrose 2023-05-14 21:50

also your twitter link is broken

alexrose 2023-05-14 21:51

you know what, giving you 5s in mood and innovation, it deserves it

justinsix 2023-05-15 04:14

@alexrose thank you sir, I didn't realize my twitter was broken. I fixed it now 😁

justinsix 2023-05-15 04:16

@alibomablitv @chuckiee Thank you for trying the game! Glad you had fun

gamescodedogs 2023-05-15 07:09

Nice concept. It could be a big game. Don't stop working on it!

justinsix 2023-05-15 10:29

@gamescodedogs I'm happy you enjoyed it! I would be curious to know your thoughts on how to expand it into a bigger game. Outside of extra polish and bug fixes I completed the original vision I had for the game.

**SOME SPOILERS BELOW IF ANYONE'S READING WHO HASN'T PLAYED THE GAME**

I do have plans to make a bigger co-op horror game adapting other material from H.P. Lovecraft though. My artist and I are planning to launch it to steam this October. In case you didn't realize, cozy courier co. used the Mi-Go from HP Lovecraft which is an alien race that mines for resources (hence the tunnels) and were experts in surgical techniques and neuroscience (the explanation for what happens to the players).

michelle-go 2023-05-15 17:44

twist so cool!

justinsix 2023-05-15 18:49

@michelle-go thank you for playing!

I applaud the developer's commitment to creating visually cohesive graphics that contribute to the game's overall atmosphere and storytelling

Great graphics and amazing atmosphere. Got roped in and found it exceedingly creepy. Scared me a couple of times.

Really liked the mechanics which popped up later was a ton of fun figuring out what was going on then getting to the end :)

tempestcognitor 2023-05-17 11:01

The coop mechanic was a fun twist, as were the events leading up to it, and the music really added to the mood. The mirrors/cameras were a good touch, it would have been hard to understand what was going on without them.

0x-void-x0 2023-05-17 11:22

holly sh*t not only did you make a multiplayer game which is incredible on its own but you also added such a creative mechanic of both players merging into one body 5/5 innovation for sure! thank you for taking the time to play with me even though it's boring to play with someone with no mic lol, I really enjoyed the short but fun experience and salute you for the creative idea!

adamcyounis 2023-05-18 09:38

Wow. What a trip. I really am not sure what I was expecting, but the main twist of the game really wasn't it. I really like the concept behind this one. Tandem gameplay is a neat idea, even if ping issues make platforming kind of a hassle. In this case I think all of the irregular geometry, clipping and lack of visibility made things a little harder than they needed to be.

That said, for such an ambitious project in a jam, I think the spirit of the concept and what you were able to execute on is really worth appreciating. We had fun playing, and enjoyed the creepy atmosphere.

Thanks for sharing!
