Pretty cool! Nice recreation of the sort of gameplay it's inspired by. The one thing that didn't feel very good was how you stopped completely when you collided with something. Sliding along would've been nice. Otherwise quite a bit of fun. Ramps were tricky but cool! Of course some humour in here too. Just wish there was some nice music. All in all not bad! C:

Good work. I really felt GTA 1 and 2 nostalgia. Only thing that felt weird were the other cars that you couldn't push away.
Are you making a bigger game out of this?
@mpk90 Yeah, collisions and vehicle interaction is one of the things that I wasn't able to improve due to time, event though its really necessary. I actually might build upon it, undecided yet but I've got some ideas.
Wow this game is loud. It looks great though and looks a lot like the games that inspired it too! The title screen is groovy too! The logo also looks really cool. This is irght on with the jam's theme too, nice work!
really nice and simple game! I like the 3d buildings and the attention to details with the wheel marks on the ground, did you use a fancy pantsy simulation for the car where you simulate the front and back separately and all that? the car physics feel quite solid! the game was a bit laggy and took a while to load, not sure why but maybe if you do some more debugging there could be that one stupid thing that you least expect causing lag lol. I enjoyed the game, nice work!
this brings back memories!!
@0x-void-x0 It's not even that fancy, but yes, the car physics are set up with the axles effect on turning in mind.
Love the gta vibe! id love to know how many of us made pizza delivery games
This game is amazing, considering how underrated it is. The graphics fit the intended style perfectly, and the gameplay is pretty smooth. Maybe it was just the bad laptop I was playing it on, but the audio kept stuttering throughout the entire game, so much so that it sounded like some kind of creepypasta game that was glitching out and was about to show me a red-eyed version of the chef giving instructions any second lol
I must say that I gave up at the delivery to the docks, I couldn't find the "faster way" the chef mentioned, and he said "Halfway there! Hurry up!" when I only had a matter of seconds left, and only managed to gain about 15 seconds more on following runs - not nearly enough to finish the delivery. (I mean there was probably an easier way that I missed, but I searched around a bit and couldn't find anything :-( ) Anyway, great game!
Love the early GTA vibes. Fun little game, only problem is the vehicle handling. Well done!
