Nice game! I like the visuals, especially the buildings. Sensitivity feels a bit high and the camera is a little wonky, but otherwise fun.

A simple and fun little game. I overall liked the visuals. The music was perhaps not the best, but it fits the gameplay idea. Overall a pretty good compo game. Well done.

I had fun playing this one. The camera was a bit jarring at times, but it added to the chaotic nature of the game. I like the graphics, I even thought the music was okay. Good submission!

given the time its pretty good for a compo game.pls rate my game

Really cool game ! I love that you can chain multiple stretchers, and they can collide and make the driving harder. Really great idea there ! And you managed to make physics work without glitch, that's amazing ! The steering is inverted when driving backward, very confusing. I like the art style. The street plane texture reminded me of the city-mat i had as a kid. Great work on the camera.

I got stuck in an house with a chain of 5 patients on my firt play. The concept is nice, but camera and controlls are very confusing.

Other than that good entry!

Fun and funny! Love driving around and getting a large chain. Impressive graphics and gameplay for 48 hrs. The camera was a bit too springy or something and made me want to stop. Large chains were fun but would frequently get stuck. Also I couldn't figure out how deaths worked.

i broke my neck in this game

Super funny driving physics, the camera induces sickness to be honest, but feels still very engaging and action driven. Love the detail of the very dynamic world elements. I think it's a very nice game in terms of dynamic funny titles with some more polish and multiple maps and challenges it has the potential for an actual release title.

In the first moment I didn“t understand very well that the people were the red balls, maybe another assets more iconic could help. After that the game is very fun and funny. It's like a snake with pacients!! Congrats!

Nice game and visuals. Camera movement needs work. Maybe use cinemachine to tweak it?

Very nice looking game. I liked the tilt-shift efect. It gives the impression of a small world with wacky physics and veery shaky camera. IMO a little too shaky. One thing though: The car ist turning the wrong way while going backwards. You need to inverse the car rotation while driving backwards. A plus for awesome car handling: Zero out the perpendicular vector of the driving dir. That way it dies not slide around like a boat. Other than that a good entry for the theme.

Nice little game. I liked that many of the things on the map was rigidbodys that could be moved with the ambulance.

I love the camera and controls. Our game was also an errand style mechanic. It was fun to play and stream a similar style game! I liked dragging all the people around :)

sheol 2022-04-05 00:56

I love the idea! Also I think the driving is pretty funny with the tire tracks and all, you can practically drift all around town. The music also added to the slightly tense atmosphere! Overall, great job!!

jordwest 2022-04-05 02:11

Haha chaotic and fun, I love it. The rubber bandy controls felt like they fit really well with the quirky aesthetic.

One thing I wished for was if the red sphere would indicate when they're about to expire, like flashing, or changing size or something. Quite a few times I'd start chasing a sphere only for it disappear just before I reach it.

Overall a fun play!

baconeta 2022-04-05 16:14

Chaotic but simple concept! I feel a little sick after jerking around with the camera too much but it does feel intentional so I respect that. I was NOT a fan of the squeaking turning noise, it was very off-putting. Otherwise I loved it and nice work!

the game is generaly fun and feels responsive to play, I like the idea of just draging dead bodies behind the ambulance lol, the only thing I would change is that some limitation like time limit to make the game more challenging, but other than that I think the game is fun and cute

dzejpi 2022-04-05 19:59

Really love the graphics style you went for! I would be a bad ambulance driver. :) It was very fun and felt very frantic. My only issue was the camera, because it almost made me nauseous. Otherwise great entry, especially for Compo!

boaromayox 2022-04-05 21:51

I tried playing your game on WebGL, but it doesn't seem to load.

lcstark 2022-04-06 17:29

Nice little arcade game! It has a really old-school feel to it. I laughed at the idea of chaining the patients behind the ambulance. :)

One thing I would change is to make the camera a bit less... flaily? Especially when backing up, it feels like it's a bit too wild. It made already difficult game a bit too difficult. My best attempt got me to 21 points: https://i.imgur.com/4pJjE3a.png

There were also some collider issues with the stretchers, one time I got one embedded in a building and were unable to get out, and here the last one got stuck in the ambulance: https://i.imgur.com/anPkTjP.png

raphiell 2022-04-07 22:17

Besides the camera flailing about, it was fun! I would recommend flipping the steering when backing up. I at least find that more natural, like in a real car.

Well done!

Fun little game!

I converted it into VR for fun, here's me playing it on my Valve Index: https://youtu.be/99x3iVB4SMM

Thanks for including the source! It didn't include the camera code though but I was going to throw it out anyway in favor of making the player giant

brads-space 2022-04-08 13:51

@shadowbrain haha awesome stuff! The original camera is just cinemachine without any external code.
