Hmm seems like it doesn't work properly for me. I can't get past the first screen as well.
this bug just got corrected
Played the web version. Not sure if I did something wrong, but left clicking didn't seem to do anything. Also, just holding down 'd' I was able to run all the way to the end by outrunning the spheres.
I played your game in a safari browser, and it loads and runs.
The concept and the weather works well giving you a feeling that you are really parachuting into a blizzard :) The gameplay mechanics are somewhat confusing, you can move about fine, shooting from ctrl key works, it launches a projectile, but also caused my client to crash. I tried again and got mauled by those big grey spheres. I imagined they were really bad hail, in which case, yes the weather is fucked :)
The music is ominous and sets a tone. pixel art background was very cool. I was unable to leave past the bridge before getting mauled again.
What is left to be desired; some polishing, shooting mechanics as I expected to be able to shoot the giant boulder things, but was unable to.
Cool concept, but I literally ran in a straight line until the end so more of a challenge would be good. I liked the story, the audio was a bop and the graphics were nice.
Simple game, the spheres need some sort of sprite. The overall atmosphere was inconsistant with the music. The music and the narration was really moody but the art was bright and colorful. The game as others have pointed out also was way to easy and had minimal content. But overall it was a simple concept with some nice pixel art.
Nice idea. And I could see the effect of low temperature on the walking speed and on the speed of the bullets.
The gameplay itself could use some work, however, as you can literally just run through the whole game, all the way to the bunker, not even firing once or bothering to turn around. The text at the end is also poorly visible (gray on a mostly white-blue background).
The music really suits the theme and the tone of the game. Well done on that.
I couldn't really see the connection to the theme. Awesome title though
Temperature goes low enough to freez time itself, damn that's deep lol I feel like this could work as a sci-fi idea for a commercial game or something.. anyway the idea of this game is creative, I think the city aesthetics and the music work well too, though I think the gameplay is lacking compared to other aspect, I wish there were more mechanics to it, maybe the enemies could use some tweaking etc.. anyway nice work with the game!
Cute short game and cool music! I think the time freezing mechanic could be made a bit more clear visually as it can be a bit confusing currently. Also the bach button of the how to play section is a bit buggy.
I really like the mechanics of slowing down time with temperature, but I wish there was more done with it. The game is a bit short, but still it was fun to try it out. Good job!
