I like the colours, but feel the lack of dynamic at start. Especially when you've seen what happens after 1-2 mins :D

Well done!

Good entry. The indicator of that enemies are spawning is a good touch. Personally I prefer arrow-keys but I still could manage to control it. Good Job.

Really fun game! At first I assumed it was gonna get impossible really fast, but I was surprised how it feels very fair even after a minute or two. Awesome job!

It becomes very difficult over time. The game is super)

The visual style in this game is great. I love the pixel filter, and the variety of enemy types makes for a very compelling experience. Unfortunately, I feel like the theme hurts it. It would be much more fun if I could just go straight for the next point after grabbing one instead of having to wait for the next one to appear. It feels like I spend most of the early game twiddling my thumbs, although it does get more intense later.

Pretty solid jam game! I can always appreciate when you even manage to create music and sound effects during the jam - it really makes the game feel more like a complete game than just something quick created during a weekend.

Some thoughts; - You can survive quite long just by standing in the corner. The game does not try to place obstacles near the players position which can make standing in the corner a valid strategy. - You could maybe alleviate this issue by forcing player to collect the point balls every 10 seconds. Now there is no rush to collect the points since they do not disappear and the player is not punished for not collecting them. This could make the game more interesting because it would force the player to move.

But overall, quite a fun game! Good work!

I like the simple graphics and the game is fun. At first I would've like the collectables to spawn more often, but as I played more I grew used to it.

Controls feels responsive and hitboxes are pretty good. The difficulty ramps up nicely and visually it looks solid enough. The music was a bit grating after the first minute haha. It'd be nice if the spawn counter counted down instead of up until an arbitrary value when it spawns the next ball. Also, I think it would be more fun to play if the collectibles spawned faster and enemy spawn was tied to the timer.

Also the game could benefit from some borders around the play area.

nice entry! clever, simple concept. Music was a bit repetitive, but that's sort of to be expected :) Definitely agree the counter should be counting down not up to slightly over 10 seconds.

Simple but really well made!

Solid entry, really love the art style and the shadow effect (no idea how it works lol). this game is really fun and engaging and things just get too chaotic before you know it, it felt satisfying dodging all the traps at the last second but that circle that follows you always ended up killing me . really innovative game great work!

Simple game, but good execution! Could use to start a bit faster, but everythign works very well aside from tyhat.

joshua-weggartner 2022-10-07 13:26

@0x-void-x0 Thank you so much! The shadow is just another sprite underneath with an offset :D

paveldlouhy 2022-10-17 13:55

It looked simple and easy until they started following me around... Amazingly simple game which is progressively more and more hard! Good job!
