A very interesting concept, however, it lacks challenge. In my opinion, the AI should deploy additional turrets to introduce more strategic depth to your game. Anyway, good job!

that image at the start is so dark souls man . the game is fairly simple but quite fun when player strategically. collecting diamonds feels satisfying and there is a sense of planning and trying to match units speed to that they reach the enemy at the same time and help cover each other's weaknesses. I wish there were more levels.
Pretty fun. I love tower defense games and a reverse version is interesting. I'd love to see more depth in the types of units or some adaptation from the opponent, like rebuilding towers. It's a game jam so only so much you can do ofc. Keep it up!
I liked the inversion of the tower defense idea, but the AI needs to do something to make it work. Also, there's no incentive to spawn enemies while you don't have resources.
I love the concept, but the gameplay is a bit slow, unfortunately. Waiting for the crystal to show up and having only 3 options doesn't make it very engaging. Still, great work!
That's a nice concept with the towers and different types of units. The art is interesting and fitting as well. I really liked the sound of crystal-collecting, it's very pleasing. Overall sound is pretty good!

I did complete the game, also felt it was a bit slow at first but then started using speedboost so it went faster :)
It's a neat idea, a more expanded version could be interesting. As it is, the "puzzle" of trying to complete with as few crystals as possible isn't very engaging, but I could see this being really cool with more strategy to the wave construction. Overall what's here is pretty good, the art and music fit and the fx are nice.
I liked the music and sound effects. The visuals is okay, but a bit more animation would help to see better what is happening. The gameplay idea is okay, but it's too easy to win. Overall an okay little jam game.
Interesting idea with reverse tower defence game. I think it would be better if you gained money from destroying towers instead of just waiting for them to spawn though.
It's interesting to be on the other side of the tower defense for a change. Having the difficulty ramp up more over the course of the level would be nice, but I like the concept!
Enjoyable concept with good graphics and sound effects - Interesting to play a TD in reverse.Took me a while to realize you click on the gems to pick them up.
I think some good game design tweaks could be related to how you get new gems (Honestly what I was expecting to be the case):
Start with a limited number of gems As you progress through the level your enemies can "capture" more gems for you to use.
At the moment you can take as long as you like and enough gems will eventually spawn for you to win so you don't have to be strategic about which enemies you spawn.
Then leaning into the levels being a sort of puzzle for what waves to send in which order to best utilize the gems available, and if you run out you lose.
Concept is super cool. I felt disappointed when I was stuck because of lack of money, but I guess it depends on wether you're going more for a puzzle game type of thing or a tower defense game. Either way, concept has enormous potential.
Took me a reset to understand that you need to pick up crystals by clicking on them. A hint for stupid people like me would have been appreciated.
What I found odd is that the first strike on a tower doesn't seem to be damaging it. The bar only goes down on the second one.
Winning wasn't that difficult, since loosing wasn't much of a thing, so I submit my lowest crystal run result lowestScore.png (acquire 16 crystals and spam out 8 Carnivines)
I like the idea and the music, it seemed very short but it has potential, with a little work it will be a good game. Good job!
