The Turgenev Study by benjamin 2022-10-05T13:58:37Z

Probably the highest quality game I played so far. Hard as Hell but that doesn't take away points for me.

Come Shell or High Water by ursagames 2022-10-04T18:42:55Z

Love crabs, love the song, love the graphics, great work!

10 second base by Stratcat66 2022-10-04T18:25:20Z

Great mood, I love the music and the setting most. I don't know if the music is handmade or by someone else but I'd love to hear more of it.

Death Factory by Cataractar 2022-10-04T19:05:48Z

Much like the rest of the players. Slow start but great fun afterwards. It appears things can get stuck on the hear though.

CCTV: The One Who Watches by RAFFE 2022-10-05T11:19:16Z

Great fun! I loved the challenge. I initially struggled because I didn't realise the lights at first. The game would benefit from favouring certain cameras when others are finished but it was overall definitely worth playing.

Grandma's Groceries by chelC 2022-10-04T17:42:35Z

The game looks great though the memory is a bit too much for me to beat normally. I do enjoy the dialogue a lot.

Toys War Adventure by Curtis Pelissier 2022-10-09T12:39:44Z

Really enjoy this sort of idea, some rework in upgrade options would help but otherwise pretty good!

Binaria by jordantanner 2022-10-06T20:42:19Z

Lovely looking game, sound effects I really enjoy (so longa s they're not stacking on top of each other too much. I would say that the game would benefit with both light/dark enemies as well as hitboxes being based off shadows, it would benefit the perspective of the game. All around great work though!

Lava Crossing by GibsS 2022-10-04T10:06:17Z

Great fun, very easy to understand and very challenging. My criticisms would only be the audio being rather simple and the lava looking rather bizarre, but it doesn't hinder gameplay.

House Of Quandary by bflatinteractive 2022-10-04T14:36:13Z

Very short but quite fun. Would love to see some sort of endless mode with it.

Flight of the Instrument Man by korfi 2022-10-04T18:16:41Z

Very charming graphics, generally looks very good! I have some small issues with enemies spawning on top of the player but otherwise works perfectly fine.

Cheat or Lose by Vetche Studio 2022-10-04T15:34:33Z

Great game, loved trying to figure out the achievements. I couldn't quite get Wingman but it was still great game, probably my highest rated thus far. I must admit though, the introduction left me confused, I was wondering when they were going to blink.

Ten Seconds Curse by oleg20111511 2022-10-03T23:36:26Z

The game would benefit from an indicator for current weapon, I found myself a little confused at the start. Though otherwise it was good fun, the graphics were well made.

A Little Bit Of Everything by Matt Ravenhall 2022-10-04T14:57:27Z

Fun challenge. I do think some early challenges could do with some changes, like the "Don't reach the flag", but otherwise it's completely fine and great to play.

@javid-ladhani Apologies about the camera movement. I know there's some persistent issues with the camera and jumping. It was a real struggle considering keeping the animation consistency and making sure the player can always see where they're meant to be. I do believe I could've improved on it though! Thank you for the positivity and criticisms all the same.

Lab Slime by Cheville 2022-10-04T13:26:40Z

I would love to have researched on how to record online highscores, though with all that it entailed I sadly didn't have time for it. It was on my mind but I didn't spare a second putting the game together and sadly it didn't quite fit.

Lab Slime by Cheville 2022-10-06T20:21:55Z

Thanks you, I was mighty impressed with how the procedural generation turned out, it was one of the first things I got working alongside the basic movement.

And for all those who are wanting to enjoy the game as is, we will be making some small tweaks (particularly on some sprites and camera) in case anyone wants to enjoy it. We'll be making Linux and Mac builds too (though I can't guarantee they shall work as I have no device to test them no). The Linux/Mac version will be on the new build and I DISCOURAGE that you rate the game based on the patches as they are not within the gamejam limit. They will most likely all be posted on the itch.io page too!

@croze in regards to the double movement inputs, there is no delay between movements as I didn't want to hold back the player's movement, so double inputs are probably caused by a fault on the keyboard or the browser, as far as I'm aware, there is nothing that should provoke the game to double a single input.

After having spent time considering everyone's feedback and what would be best to improve on the game, we've made a patch for anyone who's interested in playing the game beyond just experiencing it for the sake of Ludum Dare. We appreciate all of your support, suggestions and criticisms, which I hope we have satisfied with the new patch.

Here are the patches as follows: - Options tab, able to change resolution and mute game - Reworked high score menu and increased limit to 10 scores per category - Changes to the Normal Mode and Endless mode text - Adjustments to menu formatting - Reworked red tiles - Heavy improvements to the jump tiles, changing their camera movement, sprite movement and sprite animations - Improved the in-game camera - Can no longer walk off the goal tile after landing on it with a jump pad - New sound effects for select tiles - Guide menu, featuring tiles, how to play and controls - Increased time for Fall Tiles - Linux and Mac releases - Arrow key support

I must clarify again, please do not rate the game based on the patch we will released on itch.io as this patch was not made within the Ludum Dare time limit and exists purely for players to enjoy more of the game if they wish to do so.

We were also unable to find testers for Linux and Mac so there is no absolute guarantee they will work but if you let me know, I will attempt to work on them.

Slime Can Fly by BenTheTwoOfUs 2022-10-04T13:04:09Z

Love the music for the ability- Goofy music as the game becomes absolutely chaotic. The game is very charming and I like the sliding, though I think the turning for it could be just a little quicker. Great fun nonetheless!
