Very cool idea, interesting emergent behavior for the ants
Cool game, well done!
Very nice game! had fun and reached almost 200 seconds before things started to pretty much repeat, but was still fun. I didn't understand the buttons instructions in the top bar, tried multiple times to press them but nothing happened. GL!
Nice game
I lasted 300 seconds! fun game, i like the twist on this tower defense genre, more simulated like TABS. My tactic for next game will be to hold one guard ant spawn till enemies are close, cause my guards wander off to far sometimes
It was tough after I spent my resources and the ants died but I enjoy the concept and functionality. The ants running around is a nice mechanic if somewhat punishing.
Reminds me of the simulation AntMe. I can watch the ants buzzing around forever.
this reminds me of the ants and slime video by sebastion lague. really cool use of the theme!
A simulation? hell yeah! sign me in baby!! I literally spent 15 minutes straight playing this game the gameplay is so much fun and the strategy and decision making prevents the game from getting boring or repetitive, I really love the design of this game, how the ants navigate around following each other's trail, and how the guards detect enemies from far and go for the kill, it all works really nicely! I would really love to see all the source code behind it, it's a shame this isn't open source . congrats on making such a fun and addictive game, I enjoyed this a lot
Cool ant simulation lite! Mesmerizing. Not difficult though and with little input.
I wish the enemies made a sound when spawned. I also noticed my warrior ants often go through terrain.
Cool game.
Cool and unique entry!
This brings back fond memories of playing SimAnt back in the day. I enjoyed the pattern the ants make while moving around the colony -- I found it very hypnotic. The purple trail that ants leave behind so players can see where the ants have been was a nice touch. Game design was fun overall. I think the ants could have been slightly larger, but I do understand that you are fitting the entire colony on-screen so there is that limitation to consider. As far as UI, the slideout control panel was pretty slick and I used it a lot. I like the idea of hiding some of the UI elements, but maybe the food and the colony health could be displayed onscreen more prominently? I found myself opening the panel to check those things pretty often. Super fun idea and a solid entry!!
