Loose controls make me feel like I have a lot to learn about the finer mechanics of properly aiming and controlling the net, but the harpoon is simple, and the dynamite requires some timing. But all in all, it's rly cool to travel to the depths, fight a shark, and carry it back up like I'm recreating the Old Man and The Sea
Really Cool!! Great graphics!
I have a lot to learn about fishing ;)
I made a game that also used a submarine, I too had a low-oxygen meter, but I really like how in your game low oxygen causes the screen to go black.
Love the mechanic of the net, felt really unique and its fun to swing it around at the fish lol! The design is also really nice and polished, awesome job!! :)

Cool game. I am not so good with the harpoon but the net was really fun once I learned how it works. It was fun to go full speed and jump like a dolphin over the ship. Overall fun game.

Cool idea to physically simulate the net. I enjoyed how feisty the sharks were. One of them rammed my sub. Also attacking other fish - I like a good simulation! I'd love to see a finished version of this with better net physics so you really feel in control of it. Great work!

Felt really fleshed out, nice graphics (that sub 'rotate' animation looks like it took a bit of effort, even it does occasionally do a weird flip!). Great job :D

Very cool physics based mechanics, loved the radar as well!
Simple yet challenging, and surprisingly... well, *deep*. The controls are a bit tricky at first, but I got used to them fast.
Heya, I've rated around eight games, and I wanted you to know that this one was my favorite so far. I love the kinetic animations for the submarine, I love the net, I love the fish, I love the upgrades, I love the controls, I love getting under fish and throwing them into the air with my submarine. Literally the only thing I would change so far is adding sound, but you already know that.

Really great game. Visuals and polish are fantastic. Would love to see what else you would add here

A very cool game! Movement feels a little sluggish at first but gets pretty satisfying after upgrades. I'd suggest adding some static background, since it's hard to navigate when you're alone in the water with no reference to compare speed to. Maxed the oxygen tank upgrade just to get really deep and see if there's something interesting there, was satisfied to meet a large shark, although it damaged me severely and I couldn't make it to the surface. Anyways, great job, well done!
I like it
Wow wow wow! I played this for way too long, can't wrap my head around how you got so much content into the game in such a short amount of time! Great work! :D

A nice and fleshed out game! A big challenging/frustrating at first though.
The net is so much fun to swing around. Great job.
Wow a lot of fun, really polished, nice job! One thing to note -- the game was a little too tall for my screen so I sometimes had to scroll on the webpage up and down to see various things.

Really, really, really fun. I played for like 40 minute straight, which is insane for a LD game. I love how I had to really learn how to fish. Especially the net. I eventually figured out how to swing the net around you in circles, which worked really well. The upgrades are great too. I couldn't stop playing until I finally managed to kill and sell a shark. That was awesome.
I see you mentioned it was not fishined, but it does not felt like it. I loved the art direction, I enjoy seeing potential fish in my radar and give me the tools to select how I would approach it. Please keep working on it. It would be a great switch game.

I Love it. The moment I understood that I could swing the net around I just lost it !! Maxed out the sub, went -2600m below, would play again. (played for ~1h)
PS : Small detail, when you make a game that uses E a lot, avoid puttin the reset button on R, I had a sub that was almost max, but had to start again because I missed the E key.
Overall, great job !

After watching some of your progress on twitter I was excited to play this one, it didn't disappoint. Super cool idea and execution. Congrats :fish:

I had a bunch of fun with this. Critiques: There seemed to be a lack of stuff in the depths. You can go far deeper than where content stops. The net is kinda awkward, especially with the earlier engines. I also wish there was some audio to complete the ensemble.
The kudos: The graphics really fit well together. The little polish effects like the bubbles from the propeller are very clean. The fish interactions are awesome to watch and... interrupt with harpoons and dynamite.
Overall a great entry that has tons of potential.

Super cool! I love the idea, and the graphics are really cute! The net physics looks great. I found it a bit too hard to actually get fish in my net, often they would hit other fish in the net and bounce off, i think it could be a bit more forgiving. The basic loop is cool, go down get fish come back get money, buy upgrades. I didn't really feel the impact of the upgrades though, maybe they need to be more dramatic. Maybe a display to show how much your current net is worth so you know when to come back up. I couldn't really tell the fish apart and know how much they'd give me individually.
Awesome. Really dig the pixel art (what a pro!). No compromises on the attention to detail.
Man, I love how fluid the game feels. The controls and mechanics all worked out great. I really enjoyed playing this one.

I really appreciated the net mechanic and learning to use it effectively was very satisfying. The controls are fluid and the fish ai is really compelling! I really enjoyed this entry!

The game was very fun to play! I loved the overall well made mechanics of the fishing rod, and the pixelated 3D rendering is absolutely amazing and I'm personally hoping to achieve that effect in some of my future projects. Overall, very fun game and I love how much you were able to create within the time span.

What a neat concept! It feels very nice to play and has a lot of content/upgrades! Would have loved to get a net size upgrade, it's too fun flinging that thing around! :fish:

Saw this on twitter, had do play it. I think this is the most fun i had on LD yet :)
The loop feels great, upgrades and mechanics are polished and feel finished, sure the audio would do an extra mile, but, hey, compo)
