Aprreciated the pixel art graphics! o/

Wow, that's definitely a unique idea. No idea how you came up with this. I may be stupid, but it took me an embarrassingly long time to understand what I had to do on the bottom screen. Once I got it, it was pretty fun! I also enjoyed the visual style.

I just cant mutitask im sorry

chriiis88 2021-04-27 17:47

Very innovative idea, however the execution lacks quite a bit, unfortunately. It's not clear at all when a key has to be pressed to be successfully. There is no feedback for the player. Sometimes the items go to the left, which apparently is good, other times I press the key and they just stay in the middle.

Very funny!

Great concept! Reminds me a bit of Envirobear!

Thanks for the feedback everybody! We probably should have done a much better work at tutorialisation, as it seems a few people didn't get how the gameplay below works.

To at least make it a bit more enjoyable, we just added an extra bit of description in the page, hopefully that'll help a few people

Is it just me or is the reaction time for this game extremely short? Anyway nice game, I could only get to 100 though.

cresceda 2021-04-28 14:50

I thought I was good at multi tasking until I played this game. Like it ;)

bubbadubc 2021-04-28 14:53

Simple, and excellent.

kevin-meissner 2021-04-28 14:55

really funny idea and a big plus for the theme idea. :-) just a bit too hard. Also there was no indicator when to exactly push the button.

raeino 2021-04-28 15:01

Really cool and unique idea and the game was fun to play, though it took me some time to understand how the down part worked (also had a bug on a few runs where while holding more tha one key I couldn't steer)

martinek 2021-04-29 17:01

Really fun and interesting game. Great art.

fpeg 2021-05-01 11:10

Best take on the theme so far! :D Very relatable too! It's kinda hard, but in the right kind of way, easy to understand, but hard to keep attention on the road while reaching for the stuff. I think this is a far more accurate simulation of multitasking behind the wheel than one would think at first glance xD

Great idea, it tied my hands in knots. I really like the musical riff when you lose :joy: great idea and great execution!

ditam 2021-05-01 12:43

Hilarious, and a great take on the theme. The music track you composed is very cool too, a great example of how audio can boost the mood of a game immensely. (Makes me all the more disappointed that I'm yet to ever find the time to make the audio during a jam...) Kudos!

tigermouse 2021-05-01 18:35

Really funny take on the theme - very innovative.

jacobrutter 2021-05-02 10:09

First of all the art style and the sfx are on point. Really enjoy them both. The two layer of gameplay are neat--but challenging. Each time I focused on driving I couldn't manage to grab items, but if I focused on items I plowed into a car. Overall really great entry, this is a neat game.

kszaku 2021-05-02 10:25

a fun challenge idea - [play this while drunk or high](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9MzabFEpP4o).

But seriously, really fun experience, I love how this requires to split attention between tasks. Every element just works greatly in tandem with anything else.

neowedge 2021-05-02 16:57

Original idea! Congrats!

rob-parker 2021-05-02 18:41

Feels like i'm playing twister with my fingers! Really tough game with trying to multitask avoiding things and grabbing stuff under the seat!

heremeus 2021-05-02 20:14

What a fun and unique idea. The graphics were looking good as well. I encountered two pretty big problem while playing though. The first was not being able to read what key I have to press. The upper half of the key was cut off sometimes making it a wild guess what to press next. The other issue was not being able to press more than 4-5 keys simultaneously. As soon as I had to hold a few more keys, the arrow keys stopped responding and I crashed. This is probably a technical limitation on my side but stopped me from getting past 200 points.
