The game is good---but the family collaboration is great! I'm a big fan of making games with the family. Congrats to both of you!

I enjoyed this game a lot! A very simple concept but plays smoothly and has great replaybility as well. Really well done!
I did run into a bug where I couldn't mine anymore after I used the sonar on an obsidian tile (I may have clicked on the empty space by mistake). The game still played but I couldn't mine any block or buy anything any more.
Uploaded a screenshot to show where it happened. Capture.PNG
I really do think this is a fantastic game and would like to congratulate and thank you both for making it.
You both did an amazing job with this game  I hope you had an amazing weekend making this game together and will be joining more jams in the future. Would love to see more from both of you :two_hearts:
What a clever game! Totally unusual with many good ideas - especially when player buys a sonar. The main aesthetic is just pleasant with a good background. The best part is the main gameplay. Very addictive. It could be interesting to do something on mobile devices using your first project. Fun. Well done ++
Great job to both you and your daughter! The game is fun, the sonar was a specially nice touch as it gives the player some way to control the random. I played it a few times and really enjoyed it. As said above, hope you and your daughter will be participating in many more jams in the future :)
That was very fun!
Really great job! Some logic game - i love it.
You're all very nice ! Nothing new or original but the gameplay loop seems top be working.
Thanks for the feedback @iman, i will patch this.
We look forward to see all the great games of this ld48.
@iman the bug is fixed ! (the sonar wanted to probe below the last line :p )
@eps I bet you didn't think someone would be stupid enough to use the sonar on the last line hahaha
Thanks for participating in the jam.
Excellent job! Was a fun one screen game, clear mechanics, feedback, visuals etc.
Quite challenging, I wasn't able to get them all.
I dont really have any suggestions or constructive criticism, way to go!
@jonathan-turner Thank you. The goal is mainly to find the "rainbow diamond". I think it's near impossible to clear all the grid. Or maybe with a good random generation ? This is the first game, all the family will be on board for the LD49. Perhaps with a more complex gameplay, we'll see ;)
I respect that you're working with your family. I did the programming for my game, my friend did the art but my 13 year old son did all the music and audio. Was fun to work as a family.
fun game, would be nice to be able to lose when we dig in a mine or something ahah
super simple but fun game. Made for mobile devices imo. I was able to win the game, so i'm happy :)
Great job!
Rad execution on a simple idea! The economy felt super tight, but that's certainly not a problem. My one critique is maybe that the sonar didn't quite feel strong enough for how expensive it was, but maybe I just haven't found the right strategy for it.
Congrats on a job well done, both of you! I really like the terrain textures
Nice work on this submission! It kind of feels like a reverse minesweeper!
Firstly I thought it was a clicker game, but it turned out it's a puzzler :) It's pretty cool game, but I think you could add following levels by just fiddling with numbers and maybe little graphical reskins.
An interesting approach to the theme. Minimalistic, but still catchy. The whole vibe did really remind me of our project, where you also can run out of pickaxes heh Also liking the casual vibe, thats for sure! Great!
The game is so easy for me, It should be? Music ok, Graphics ok, Nice sumbission!
It's not really a clicker game, as one would think from a title  Very simple but competently made. Everything works just fine, and I didn't run into any bugs. Sonar does not seem like a wise investment, as it is one-time use. Better to just buy 10 pickaxes really
Yep, I like emojis too! They are a great way of conveying tone and intent in writing!
@fabula-rasa @lisek-gagatek Yeahhh, i think we lose stamina when we had to choose a name ;) To all : i think it's easier to win if you go to the deeper layer to dig : diamonds are interesting (more money). The sonar help to choose the column to mine on the last layers. I think that if the sonar is too cheap it will be too easy.
Another tip : when you realize the number of diamond 💎 is the same in each line it become more clear how to win the game ;)
We had to tweak the prices and variables to make it interesting ! A game can't be too easy or too hard. I think it's rewarding to "understand" something in a game with trial and error.
Really fun puzzler! I like how you managed to tie it into the theme. :) Good job by you and your daughter. Congrats!
Nice game! Good scope for a jam, congrats!
Alright game. It would be nice if the game had some puzzle element or something other than just clicking. I was able to finish the game by just clicking boxes and buying pickaxe.
@zeppelingames Yes, it's exactly that type of gameplay ;) We will do another version later if we have enough good ideas.
