It took me a while to find out that I had to change slot before I was able to use the scythe again, and damn thats a big scythe. I love the pixel art on it, it gave me a vibe of old rpg and some stardew valley. Have a good sleep!

@rjerez192 Thank you for playing! Yes that specific mechanic is cryptic and expecting an overhaul during the Jam session. Even I still have a hard time with it. Thank you it means so much for me for my game be reminded of stardew valley.

Hey I'mnot being able to play it, I'm on a mac on chrome. No keys are doing anything except of WASD and R which makes a "shink!" noise. I press E on everything, ZXC on town and nothing works. Am I doing something wrong?

@Webox I'm sorry, I probably should have kept the tutorial in the description. In the topright corner there's a menu with a sickle in it. Press J to use it to cut down herbs and use it in the cauldroun. It all starts there. I might upload a demo vid soon too.

Art is quite nice. And music as well. Took some time to understand what should I do in the game (almost gave it up). But in the end it was fun. Needs just a little bit of tutorial or UX improvements (better both)

Oof, I love the visuals, the game is very pretty to look at and music is very fitting:)
However, the controls are daunting (too many of them) and maybe the inventory management could have been different imo (maybe allow stacking of the same type of items), it was getting tedious to switch with u/o.
nonetheless, good job making great game :)
I like the Art Style :v:

(I played the compo build, since it's the one I have to rate ; I will try your improved version when I'm done writing this comment) It was a nice experience! As you said it, it's a bit buggy (at some point I couldn't harvest hay anymore, and I don't have a clue why).
Oh my god are the visuals amazing! I wish there was some nice music and it would have been perfect.
Good entry !
I win with 2 house left :) Game is polished nice, art and music are pretty. Only trouble i have is weapon change, i wish there is easier way, like 1-2-3 hotkeys. Other than that, great job!

@animaster Someone beat my game! This is a first on Ludum Dare, thank you so much for making my day! (I'll look into the ui)
Music and art are cool :) But I'm confused with controls. I refreshed five times in a row because I messed up the buttons. But game is great and I like it :)

Hi! Nice work! I want to make a video with the best games of LDJam46. Something like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aOdTsWE7iIk . Can I find your game also on indiexpo website? The channel is linked with them.

That's an interesting game. It does take a while to understand the game but at the end it's a quite pleasing game, good job!
Complex but fun. I get the feel there's too many inputs to be aware of and that makes it hard to play unless you keep instructions on a second screen or something. Pretty good nonetheless.

Once you get the mechanics it becomes great

Thank you all for playing allowing me to be rated. I'm satisfied this round.
@kiririn51 Yes, that really does seem to be the biggest issue. I may have been too ambitious or careless. Next time I'll come up with something that doesn't overwhelm with controls and mechanics.
The game seems quite complex, and I appreciated to have some time to understand the game at the beginning. It seems a lots of work, and it's a bit hard start with all keys, and little instructions.

So the cauldren seems to bug out sometimes and stop interacting in any way. Also if you accidentaly pick up the wrong items you can't get rid of them and you can very easily produce a dead-man-walking scenario.
Overall this is definitly one of the better entries I've played but it is way too easy to really mess your self up with no way to recover. I think there needs to be a way to drop items. Also, when I craft a healing item, but can't pick it up. I tried "flushing" the cauldren but then I can't seem to put new items in.

@disthron Hey-o, I came just in time. Gee you're right, I just didn't consider whether I could flush medicines. I might look into that before the end of the show. Other cauldron bugs should be a problem if there's no sfx. If there is, then it means your inven is full and you must drop with R. The R key is used to drop items and that should solve some of the problems.
Sorry the controls are figgly and buggy at times, I'm still not best friends with Unity it seems. Thank you for playing the game with constructive criticisms.

No worries, this is one of the games I've spent the most time on while reviewing games for this Jam. I think if you can clean up the controls and interactions you could have something really fun. I also noticed that things wouldn't always activate straght away. Like simetimes I had to hit the button 2 or 3 times before I could give a house some medicin or put something in the cauldren.

@disthron Yup that was what I meant by figgly and unfortunately that should take awhile to fix.
Thank you, this really meas a lot to me.
So i played the Jam version for the review. I enjoyed the game but probably the most frustrating thing i found was that i didn't know which houses were shops and so compeltely missed the shop where you could buy new tools. Otherwise the game mechanics worked well and the controls were fine. Audio and graphics were good too!
