There's some problem with the game. Sometimes the Start button doesn't work or sometimes the unity splash screen appears too big

Great game! It's tougher than it looks, especially towards the end of the game! I really like the game mechanic that you designed, it fits the theme really well too :)
Sometimes I was able to shoot my own buildings even though I deflected the laser (because angles?), I'm not sure if this was a conscious design choice but I thought I'd bring that up.
I liked the representation of health using buildings as well, it's a nice break from traditional HP bars.
I also liked that the parts of the game that are significant are nice and bright while the background is dark, it allows the player to really focus on the gameplay.
Keyboard controls would be a great addition to the game in my opinion, I think the gameplay lends itself really well to a two button control scheme (left/right to move the protecting thing)
Overall, it's a pretty fun and challenging game, great work! :)
@quichi Thanks for the feedback, glad you liked it. I never ran into the problem of bouncing against your own buildings, but agree that should not happen. To be honest I had planed on adding keyboard controls, but completely forgot it hehe. If I get time I added that and fix the bounce problem.
@aryanjumani Am sorry you are having problems, I tested the game in three different browser (Opera, Firefox, Chrome) both incognito and normal mode and everything seemed to work fine. What browsers are you using?
@zenris oh it's working all right now. Just closed my chrome window and started it again. Works like a charm. Anyways nice game but wasnt able to finish it.
@aryanjumani Ah good to hear, thanks for letting me know. Yea was hard finding a balance, it might need more work hehe.
Pretty cool game. It gets challenging. Think what got me the most was when two shots are fired in the same spot.
Fun game, plays well and feels good to protect the buildings. I did not get to the end:)

Cool game with a well thought through mechanics. You succeeded in making an interesting game!
Fun memory/reflex game, i like it a lot !
Quite a classic game design, remind of those Laser Defense games. I really liked the rebound of the shot on my paddle, it feel nice. Once you understood that the laser sight getting a bit bigger just before the shot is fired, it's helps you lot to remember where to protect :p Simple but polished graphics.
Great game, really test your attention to the order and suck. Sometime it feels good to randomly being able to guess the order in time. I love the complexity as the level progress, it was really fun to deflect the laser away. Great game indeed!
Thanks to everyone for playing and giving feedback, I am glad you had fun playing.
Fun and acts as a sort of memory and rhythm game! The polish is good as well.
Great game I it is kind of addicting to remember all the lasers and where they will hit! Maybe you could introduce some new laser colors that hit faster or twice I don't know. Overall a very nice game!
Fun game. It would been nice to have background music. Good Job!
I won't give a rating since the game did not run for me. I opened it and the window remained black:
Windows 10 Nvidia 1080 4K resolution
Thanks everyone for playing, glad you enjoyed playing it.
@bitbrain sad to hear you had problems, if you have time could you let me know what browser you used? I tested the game on Firefox, Chrome and Opera. If you use any of those, do you mind trying it in private/incognito mode? And let me know how it went, ofc only if you have some spare time and still want to try the game.
Very simple but at the same time surprisingly fun game! I got only to level 11, have to focus more :D The game is almost rhythm based and you did a lot with very little. The controls are primitive yet powerful.
Took me a while to get the rhythm and I was like wow there's a lot of waiting/low points in this game... but then I realized how the memory and reflexes tied in together and realized it was quite brilliant! I think it could use... /something/ not quite sure what, some additional layer of depth, but for what it is, I think it's awesome and I put in 5 stars for innovation fun overall and theme. I would say it could use a bit more juice/feedback elements though.
Incredibly cool concept! I really enjoyed the pacing of the difficulty and how simple and easy to understand everything is. Great job!!!
Nice simple game. Works smooth. I'd have made telegraphing next shot slightly more obvious, but it is just personal matter.
Hi. Couldn't play your game. Tried several times but couldn't get past the start screen. Sometimes the game started but the intro layer kept on and the metal plate didn't appear. Tried closing and starting again the browser as someone suggested above but didn't worked for me =(
Thank everyone for playing and giving feedback. I'll get around to play your games today :)
@macdoom Thanks for letting me know, what browser did you use? If you still want to try the game give it a try in incognito/private mode on the browser, sometimes that helps with WebGL bugs.
Nice and simple game! It is fun and gets increasingly challenging at a good rate.
I got 8300 on my first try, probably not a good score but there you have it :)
Well done!!
@zenris I use chrome
@macdoom Thanks for letting me know. I'll look into that bug and try find a fix.
A simple yet challenging game! The art and sound worked well together and the gameplay loop and difficulty curve were easy to pickup and steadily got more challenging as time went on.
Very Nice Game, I liked the smooth move of the green rectangle and the fire sounds!
A really creative way to combine testing the player's reflexes and memory into one very intense but fun experience! After going for a couple of rounds it really became quite addicting, and I'd love to come back to it again sometime if I need to get a bit of a boost in memory or reflex! My personal high score was level 22, with a score of 22000, but I did luck out on where the shots were placed sometimes, having some lucky guesses as to where to move next, as I got distracted and lost focus.
The gameplay definitely is where I think this game shines the most. It was a really creative choice to combine the idea of memory games, which usually are quite slow paced and can unfortunately get a bit tedious after a while, with the fast-paced move now, think later nature of reflex driven games. Especially when the game got really hectic, I felt I needed to commit my full attention to the game in order to do well, and this was definitely a factor in making the game pretty absorbing to play. The gameplay overall felt smooth and enjoyable, and was really fun!
Graphics-wise, I thought it was a wise choice to give the player hints as to, for example, if a laser recently entered the screen, or if it's about to shoot. This adds a sort of salvage mechanism for if you lose focus, which admittedly happened quite often to me, and lets you make some educated guesses as to where the next shot will appear, even without needing to remember. However, it absolutely didn't eliminate the _need_ to remember, but just gave the player some room for errors. The actual sprites of the game were rather simplistic, but definitely served their purpose well. I did however really like the lightning effects, which added a bit to the mood!
The audio more than did its job, and in fact made it quite satisfying to block the shots, and all the more obvious when you had screwed up.
There were only a few things I felt a bit on the edge about. First of all, shots would occasionally land outside the buildings. I'm not sure if this was perhaps intentional, but I just found it strange that you sometimes weren't punished for missing a shot. Perhaps this was a feature however? Also, especially in the later levels, I noticed the laser sights sometimes vanished. I'm also on the edge about whether or not this was intentional, because it actually added quite a bit of challenge and variety as the game progressed. I thought I'd mention it though!
Overall, I actually quite liked the game! It was fun and challenging, and just the type of game I'd expect to quickly get addicted to! Well done!
@nikadra Thanks for the nice feedback, I am glad you enjoyed the game :) Think both things you mention at the end are bugs. The laser are suppose to always hit the buildings, but just not the same spot all the time, the offset must be to big. Also the lasers getting reset, might be the result of the same lasers being triggering before it have shoot, but you are right it might be a nice difficulty boost to add.
