I liked it, I would say that maybe the only caveat that comes to mind about the colors is for color blind people, might be hard to distinguish walkable and non walkable.
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD42 → "glow" Our first game Jam!

Runs fine on my PC. The colours and background are nice to look at, though the controls were slow and slippery.
A really fun and challanging game. It ran pretty smooth. Maybe make the respawn a bit faster.
The game works alright, it took me a bit to figure out I need to use Enter key to actually get to the gameplay though. The marble ball could use something to make stand out more.
The game is beautifully decorated, but why does it weigh so much(123 MB)?
Congratulations on your first Jam game! This game had very smooth mechanics and was very pretty! As someone else pointed out it would of been nice to use more distinguisable colours for people who are colour blind etc but otherwise was fun!
Looks beautiful but very taxing on non-gaming hardware (played on integrated graphics :p)
It was fun. Somewhat challenging, but beating a level was very satisfying!
I love the aesthetics of the game. Really challanging!
I enjoyed playing this game. It was challenging (I couldn't beat it) and had great graphics and nice mood setting audio. The only problem I could see with it was that the camera angle made it difficult to make some of the harder corners.
The best moment so far was the first ramp. Suprising and a nice experience. The background looks really cool and the transition at the beginning of each level is really good. Nice job ;) Had fun.
It was fun! The ramp was an especially fun surprise. I really liked the atmospheric sounds in the game; it felt relaxing. The ball felt a bit sluggish at first, but in the later levels I appreciated that it went more slowly so I could take my time. Right before I finished Level 5 I did get a bug where the ambient audio stopped without starting again, but I was just about finished so it didn't affect the gameplay for me. Great job, welcome to Ludum Dare, and keep making fun things!
Liked the game and liked the visuals. Activating a tile was also pretty satisfying, but maybe the game could have done with a relaxing bit of music together with the ambient? Nonetheless a nice game, well done! (The game also ran nicely on my pc)
I kept getting distracted by the gorgeous visuals and rolling of the edge!
Love it! I like everything about it. Great job.
Love the visuals of your game.
The game looks great but the ball, not sure if it supports it but the panel for my vr started up but ive not got it plugged in.
@sekwah41 Interesting that it started your VR panel because it is not supported. Thanks for playing! @kirillr Sorry about the file size, we weren't 100% on how to optimize and it could most likely be a lot smaller.
Thank you all who have played our game so far and thank you for all your feed back. We are also enjoying playing all yours !
My steam vr started as well. Very beautiful! The glow/bloom and shiny effects were beautiful eye candy. Well done!
It looks cool, good game idea. The graphics get a bit wonky in fullscreen for me though, which makes it hard to tell where the ball is in relation to the platforms.
Good luck!
A really addictive game. I've completed all the levels because it was challenging. but not sure how it matched the theme as it was not "Running out" of space. It just didn't have enough space.
May I ask what's floating in the distance? It looks cool and seems 3-Dimensional. I liked the atmosphere the game gave off. It felt right. The sounds were nice.
@nikyaer To answer your question about the objects in the distance. We took real landscape height data we collected using google earth, used the data to create mountains in blender. In blender, we randomly deleted about 70% of the vertices, then turned the remaining vertices into randomly rotated triangles. This left a nice silhouette of the mountains. Then inside of Unreal Engine, we added some emissive material.
@angela-k That is awesome! Thanks for sharing :D Also congrats on your first game jam. It's my first one as well.
A good game idea, the music should be improved. The graphics are good. But our game is better)))
Fun, chill game, especially with the ambient sounds in the background. I like it, well done!
Fun game with relaxing colors :)
Nice looking game, with solid implementation of the theme!
So happy you are all enjoying our game, we are both taking the time to also rate all of your games and will get to all of them. I forgot to mention it before but our game includes controller support!
the game has pretty cool graphic style
Atmospheric and relaxing game, but not enough good music. Not bad anyway)
Fun marble game. The visuals are quite nice, and I especially like the background terrain, but I thought the reflective ball made it hard to judge position in some cases. The final level felt out of place since it was a slow deliberate type of level after the previous levels had been gradually adding more speed and acrobatic elements. I thought the minimalist soundscape was neat, so the lack of music didn't bother me, but a ball rolling sound would've been nice as another indicator of speed.
@mrjorts Thank you for your feed back. The final level was indeed a very different game type. It was intended to be a part of a feature in which you choose the type of game mode. There was also a race the clock mode that did not make it into the game but we decided to showcase the collect tiles mode on the final level anyway. It also seems that many share your consensus about the ball needing to be more visible. We really appreciate your constructive criticism. Glad you played our game. We will soon be playing yours as well!
I liked the neon graphics.
This is absolutely screaming for some music and sound effects! But I liked the game, was fun playing
the game was definitely challenging since the controls were a bit lagging in response, leading to what others mentioned about how the ball feels rather slippery and hard to control. Visually stunning though. Nice game guys!
@powerauer Thank you for playing and rating our game.
As for the balls reaction time, we're seeing that this feature is not being well received but a few and so it is something we do want to revisit and maybe make the ball not so heavy or multiply the torque values to a higher output more quickly.
Thank you all so much for playing. We are enjoying our time playing all your games and hope our comments and ratings help you all as well.
Very pretty game, controlled pretty well too. The particle effects in the backgrounds combined with the colorful tiles really give it a dreamlike feel. The ramps were really cool moments, I kinda wish there was less narrow walkways and more fast, frenetic sections like those. It would've been really cool if the tiles played musical notes as you rolled over them, I feel like this kind of art style would really mesh well with more musical elements.
The game runs fine on my PC, and the controls worked okay for me also. The only suggestion I have I think others have made also is that a colorblind mode would definitely be a plus for a lot of people! :) Great job by the way!
I love roll a ball games! and this one has fantastic graphics! the colors and lighting are really great. the ball looks like an expensive crystal. even the background looks great to the point that I'm getting distracted :D. the level design is pretty good and challenging. the only thing missing is some funky music.
@martintristan I really enjoy roll ball games too! Glad you enjoyed it. I'm all about funky music:)
Great first jam. If you haven't already, look for super monkey ball for inspiration on good ball controls
@carlos-giraldo Thank you for playing and rating! Super monkey ball and Marble madness were definite inspirations. We might continue polishing this game after the jam and releasing a 2.0 version with updated content including some of the recommendations made by the community. Look forward to playing your game. (Edit) Looks like I already played your game and I loved it and rated it above and beyond!!
Welcome to the gamejam world :) Nice game, the concept is good, the little sounds when you touch a platform adds a lot the feel.
Some camera angles problems on levels that are in more than 2 dimensions, but that does not impact the gameplay. Have you tried with a less heavy ball?
PS: thank you for playing and rating our game ;)
@julien-foucher hello and thank you for playing! Your game was astounding by the way. Hope people posting here see this and click on your name and check it out.
To answer your question. Yes we did experiment with a lighter ball but felt that the weight created a more ball feel vs a person walking around feel. We might revisit as too how heavy it is though if we decide to continue with the concept of this game. Thanks for the constructive comment !
Beautiful game, no problems running it on my PC. I think others might have mentioned it, but you need to be careful with colour-based games, as people who are colourblind may struggle to differentiate between colours. **Edit:** Also nice to see someone using Unreal.
This one is hard, couldn't pass level 3 but great job on the aesthetics, the graphics and sound design is top notch.
Thank you for sharing your game with me. I played it on my stream tonight at https://www.twitch.tv/saoigames
I have rated your game, but all of my feedback was captured in the stream.

A nice take on the classic Marble Madness, managed to get to the final level (I guess) but didn't complete it.
I like in particular the mood of this game
Wow how did you get the terrain like that?
@zuhairghias Hi, thank you so much for playing our game. To answer your question about the terrain. We really enjoyed the affect as well :)
@angela-k Dammnnnnnnn
My laptop couldn't handle it, but I played it on the desktop. I don't often enjoy rolling ball games, but I did enjoy playing glow! Thank you for making it so I can go slowly! And the graphics look so happy.
@nandelind Thank you so much for playing and testing our first jam submission. I'm happy you enjoyed our simple take on a roller ball game. We are considering updating it with more levels and more great scenery and sounds. If that happens I'll be sure to message you and others who have commented on enjoying glow. Thank you again!
Nice game!
