As you say in description physic is broken, the big challenge of the game is to stay on your 6 wheels. As you fix physic you should speed up the movement and try to improve the felling of driving. It's to slow and you have nothing to do than wait while moving. When I give the 3th object I got a big frees I thought the game crashed but no it continue. And when I give the 5th object the camera view change and then nothing append just the sound of motor I think. I hope you can improve it ;)
Thanks for playing @nakami , even though its in a semi broken state right now. I actually forgot to mention in the instructions, that the Left shift is the boost, which makes movement a little better. But you are correct. I let a few friends play last night and they all said the same things about the speed.

Movement is a little slow, sometimes get stuck on a slope. Being able to aim the gun with the mouse would be nice too. Good mood created by the music. Had to stop when one of the enemies pushed me down through the ground and I was falling forever.

I enjoyed this, although I got stuck at the circuit board round. I ran over the circuit board 4 times (even though it was hard to do so given the steep place where it was) and nothing seemed to trigger. The game looks really pretty. My cart wouldn't jump, so I gave that up first, and my gun never seemed to hurt anything (maybe it was going over the enemies?), so I gave that up next. I used the same "give up functions" idea in my game. I would have liked a better description of why giving up a part was necessary - it seemed kind of arbitrary, storywise. Nice work!

It all feels like a weird dream. It has a nice mood :D I like space, so I wanted to try this out. The last part was bugged tho and I couldn't get it, sad that I didn't see the ending. With some fixing it could be more fun :)
Mostly same as said above: a bit more speed and the ability to shoot where the mouse is would be nice. Cool overall

It was a risky to make a physics-based game, but I'm glad you didn't gave up on the idea. That said, I think it was a bit too ambitious for a Jam, and the end result feels a bit unpolished : Enemies that sometimes have a rando m speed boost, your vehicle which tends to slide on slopes as if it was on ice...
Looking forward for future fixes, but as it is already, it's a pretty good job you've done given the idea you based your game upon.

It's nice that you've been that ambitious for a compo! That's the problem with Gamejams, it's supposed to be a space for experiment and trial and errors and innovation. But it can't work if people avoid risks and errors and keep doing the same platformer or puzzles or platformer puzzles.
If you do some inertia based controls, the player needs feedback (on in HUD for instance) about the direction and intensity of speed. I played the post jam version, acceleration/force given by almost flat terrain seems way too high to feel right. The rover get stuck very often or will suddenly accelerate without any apparent cause. Bottomline, controls are catchy. In addition, in my case, WASD isn't friendly with AZERTY keyboards and the Arrows + mouse click + space need 3 hands ;)
Once the controls are adjusted there is definitely a balancing pass to do about enemies and the need for abilities. Currently only jump is helpful to get unstuck. Killing enemies doesn't have much impact.
I rolled the vehicle a lot but enjoyed boosting and shooting stuff. Reminds me of the first Mass Effect :) Good Jam!

I liked the idea. Especially superb that system are really connected and functional. When I reach the scanner it actually reacts to me. There are some funny bugs with jumps but they are not disturb me. The shooting do - it is really hard to aim to the robots. Good work!

Nice 3d entry. Moody sounds and music. Somehow without reading anythink about how to control the game I was able to do it. So good design in that way. Rolling of the vehicle and camera under the ground was not so proper but in 48 hours, nice. I will never do 3D games to LD, I m coward.
Good mood and I'd enjoy the driving, but the camera gives me a headache. I assume it's attached directly to the player. A reset button would also be helpful as it's not that hard to flip the vehicle and the only thing I can do at that point is restart the game.

Cool but the 2 times I played it I ran into an enemy and, um, clipped through the ground(?) and had to Alt-Tab out of the game and close it. :pensive: Which is too bad, I've always thought a rover-controlling game would be a great idea and I really liked parts of your game

Maybe not the success you were looking for, but you took on a bunch of interesting challenges and got a lot done. Good job!

A really creative entry! The audio and graphics sustained the mood, and the AI was pretty decent. However, physics and controls could need a bit of enhancement. Other than that, well done!

please make it faster ....haah
Interesting concept for the theme, good effort. The vehicle felt very floaty, I would have liked more weight behind it but I guess we were on another planet.
First time playing, and I was attacked by the kraken from KSP: vehicle was flung into orbit after getting hit for the first time. It's way too easy to get stuck, but at least un-flip is a nice feature. The last part was impossible to get to, but I got flung into orbit again. I mashed the keys and realized that pressing [5] brought up the sacrifice menu and just finished the game that way. Nicely mysterious game, good job.
