It was quite tricky because the 'jump using dinosaur' and 'jump off dinosaur' are on different keys. 'Input sometimes not registered' definitely compounded the issue, but I got to the end after a few tries!
As for whether the dinos are happy? I'm not so sure... :skull_crossbones:

A neat, fun, short game, I enjoyed it! Really cool take on the theme and nice graphics. But the controls felt a bit unresponsive. Other than that, well done guys!

@hdugmag Great that you enjoyed the game! We know that the controls are unresponsive at times (hence the `Input sometimes not registered` text in the description) and I honestly have no idea what could be causing this. If we ever decide to come back to this game to improve upon it I will be sure to try to fix this bug!
Funny idea. The jump / ride dinosaur button is a bit clunky but it was part of the fun. Would have loved to hear dinosaur screams when they fell off the cliff :) and more sfx in general. Good work overall!

@jonathan-lorenz Thanks for the feedback! I agree that there should be more sound effects in the game but we simply didn't have time to make any. Despite that, I am a little bit annoyed that I didn't come up with the scream effect idea myself.

Quite simple game, but momentum seems a little random - coupled with the long time to restart makes it quite frustrating. It did succeed in making me want to get further, each time, which isn't trivial so well done. I ended up playing quite a bit, but I couldn't make it to the end.
The input wasn't very responsive at times (as mentioned in the game's description), but I was still able to make it through the level. The game has a nice retro feel to it, and it takes me back to my younger days of jumping off cliffs with Yoshi (although I'm not sure if that was the intention)! I think this could use more content, and perhaps a little polishing. Overall, though, not too bad!

@rik Thank you for all the feedback! I will adress your points one by one.
"momentum seems a little random" - Yes, I have also noticed that momentum is a bit random. I have some ideas of why that might be and how to fix it and if we come back to this game I will be sure to put some of those ideas in action.
"the long time to restart makes it quite frustrating" - I didn´t really think about that it took a long time to respawn when I was making the game. Maybe there should be an option to enable instant respawns or a button that allowed you to reset the level.
"It did succeed in making me want to get further, each time" - This actually was not intentional! I dod notice this while making the level but I did not mean for it to be that way! At first I actually thought that it would be the opposite scince there are no checkpoints in the game, but I was proven wrong!
Thanks for playing our game, and once again thanks for all the feedback!

@hunter-towe Good that you liked the game! The jumping off cliffs with Yoshi was actually the inspiration for this game so I´m glad you noticed it! I also think that the game could use more content and polishing but there wasn´t much time left to make that (I stayed up until midnight to finish the game, there was no way that I was going to make another level). Thanks for your feedback anyway!

Simple, but fun game, will be great to see some additional levels. Great submission, by the way.

@cheetah Thanks for playing! As I mentioned in a comment above we did not have time to make any more levels. Although, now that you have said that, I might make some more levels after the jam (along with a progress saving system)!
