Congratulations!

dan-one23 2020-04-20 10:24

This is a really nice game. I like the physics. Only the movement to the sides is a bit slow and jittery.

seriouslycrunchy 2020-04-20 10:26

This is good fun and pretty funny to play! Few things though, the cars sometimes go flying all over the shop, which is pretty funny but may cause some issues sometimes where they land in odd places. Also, sometimes on restart it can spawn a car right on you and you can lose immediately.

gerbo 2020-04-20 11:03

the game was super fun! I got to 1074 before crashing. there are some bugs here and there mostly with the cars that randomly jump around lol. other than that i had a lot of fun; nice game :D

ben657 2020-04-20 11:07

Good fun, although would be nice if the bike was a bit more responsive. I think the difficulty should be in the amount of cars and their movement. Not how slow the bike is.

wizzardmaker 2020-04-20 11:17

894.2m!

What a funny game! I love whacky physics and this game has some really great whacky physics. The controls where nice and you felt always in control. The audio of the horns really suffered under the unity doppler effect though, as they got distorted the faster you became.

:star:

r3l0ad1 2020-04-20 11:23

Thanks everyone for your feedback! it is greatly appreciated.

aryanjumani 2020-04-20 17:00

Lovely Graphics. Lovely Physics. Lovely Audio. The best game I have played uptil now!! Yes the bike is a bit jittery but that's Unity for you  my movement turned out to be worse than yours. Anyways would give you a quick suggestion:

Download Unity WebGL https://unity-web-player.en.softonic.com/download (for the latest version of Unity), switch the platform to WebGL and build it and host it on https://itch.io/ after creating your account. It would become easier for everyone to play your game then .

r3l0ad1 2020-04-21 10:10

@aryanjumani thanks for the webgl suggestion, unfortunately HDRP does not support OpenGl and i will not be able to submit a web build.

khyrgrim 2020-04-21 16:43

Nice graphics and control feeling ! Simple but efficient !

sachawitto 2020-04-22 17:18

Nice ! Cool concept, enjoyed the music. A better sound design (doppler effect was a good idea) and control more reactive would have been nice.

tybau 2020-04-22 17:21

Good game with nice graphics and sounds/musics.

Thanks for your game !

pagetb 2020-04-22 17:23

really cool and funny game, good job!

barbiche 2020-04-22 17:30

I liked that, quick and efficient, that's cool! I really like the music choice, it's quite relaxing. An interesting choice. Good job!

beelzeboss 2020-04-22 17:40

Very polished for a jam game. The menu looks awesome. Great Job!

zguba 2020-04-22 17:43

Steering is really unsatisfying in my opinion, I feel like I'm struggling with the game instead the challange of avoiding cars. I'd also rather see some intense music instead cool down ambient :P

julienlussiez 2020-04-22 18:25

Haha nice concept ! It was funny playing it !

arcus 2020-04-22 18:32

Great concept. The high speeds of the game made it a good laugh to play.

mza 2020-04-22 18:52

I like the crazy physics in the game - its both funny and gr8 to watch. I dont know if it is intentional but sometimes you cars comming from the sky and at times two cars on top of another - like a triple-decker car buts thats awesome too. Sometimes before the screen transition fade-in, a car spawns in from of me - but thats a minor issue.

43sam 2020-04-22 18:54

This game is very good imo. The graphics are nice and refined and the city mood is set by the dull colours and fog. It would be cool if the other lane had incoming traffic mainly to see what a head on collision with the shield looks like! Overall, the game is very fun and polished :)

r3l0ad1 2020-04-22 19:00

Thankyou everyone for rating my game! i really appreciate it!

hedgy 2020-04-22 19:31

Great graphics and UI! In my opinion, the control of the bike felt pretty slow, as well as the UI, compared to everything aside. Aside from that, the music was good, the sound effects reminded me of Clustertruck, and an overall great game!

hollowspecter 2020-04-22 19:55

It was a very round experience all in all well done! Here's some feedback * Sometimes at the start I would immediately crash in a car without having a chance * Some more sound effects for game feel * wheeliiiesss * The blinking lights are awesome! * The UI is a little slow for en endless runner (i would have loved to restart faster) * Great pacing/challenge

untitled-studios 2020-04-22 20:01

Great job! Amazing the amount of polish you got in in 48 hours.

sofy35 2020-04-22 20:02

It leaves a weird impression I feel like I'm in cotton dream x) the physics + the speed + the cam + the music its... whoooo chill and phasing

hamrathdoesldjam 2020-04-22 20:03

Great game. It could be a bit faster and needs a driver that flies even further. ;)

ctran13 2020-04-23 01:10

very polished game. great work!

stefenism 2020-04-23 01:54

This reminded me of a youtube vaporwave video.

aryanjumani 2020-04-23 05:15

Hey @game-coder28, really wanted to know how did you get the bike to turn when pressed the right and left buttons? Trying to implement some changes to my spacecraft for a post-jam version of my game! Right now the when going right my craft turns completely instead of just smoothing it up. :see_no_evil:

aryanjumani 2020-04-23 05:18

Also @game-coder28 nice implementation of the lighting and the fog!!

r3l0ad1 2020-04-23 09:13

@aryanjumani so they way i do it is

if(Input.GetKey(KeyCode.A)){ transform.rotation = Quaternion.Lerp(transform.rotation, Quaternion.Euler(transform.rotation.eulerAngles.x, transform.rotation.eulerAngles.y, leftAngle), leanSpeed * Time.deltaTime); else { if(Input.GetKey(KeyCode.D)){ transform.rotation = Quaternion.Lerp(transform.rotation, Quaternion.Euler(transform.rotation.eulerAngles.x, transform.rotation.eulerAngles.y, rightAngle), leanSpeed * Time.deltaTime); } else { transform.rotation = Quaternion.Lerp(transform.rotation, Quaternion.Euler(transform.rotation.eulerAngles.x, transform.rotation.eulerAngles.y, 0f), leanSpeed * Time.deltaTime); } }

And then you need leftAngle, rightAngle and leanSpeed variables. Obviously your mdel might not roate on the z axis but there is a chance it will. Also, the left angle would not be -rightAngle, it will be 360 - rightAngle.

hope that helps

artemftw 2020-04-23 09:38

When I open it I just get a grey screen.

paologinefra 2020-04-23 09:41

Nice Graphics

aryanjumani 2020-04-23 09:51

@game-coder28 thanks a lot!!! Really appreciate it!

aryanjumani 2020-04-23 09:53

@game-coder28 couldn't figure out heads or tails of quaternions so I just based it on animator controllers. Thanks again for giving the code!

r3l0ad1 2020-04-23 10:13

@aryanjumani no problem. glad it helps

randdir 2020-04-23 11:02

What can I say, first I thought not that original then when I got shield... wow my dog ! Micheal BAY GAMING ! Awesome and fun pal kee it up ! 4*

r3l0ad1 2020-04-23 12:32

@randdir thanks man!

kornel 2020-04-26 08:55

Simple but very well executed. I found the game a bit to hard later on. Would love to see some way to make the motobike turn faster (upgrade system?)

aerolink 2020-04-28 09:53

Simple concept but work perfectly with the theme, easy to play, the ambience is really nice. Sometimes the cars do weird stuff like there is a car on top of the other or a queue of 4 car sticking together. Except that I really enjoyed it.

diegoctorguet 2020-05-01 15:28

Cool looking game! Nice job!

wafflecomposite 2021-10-03 15:49

Want to check it out, but links are broken, can you update them? Thanks!

r3l0ad1 2021-10-03 17:20

@wafflecomposite unfortunately i lost the builds and loading the game in unity it is missing all the textures. I might one day go in and re-create all the games that i lost the builds of but for now there is no way for me to get them back. sorry.
